A Monarch's Mercy [Pt 1]

"To be honest, I'm kind of grateful to you for being so stupid. After all, thanks to you, I now know so much more. You should be honored; I'm thanking you personally, Zeke," Elish said as he walked toward him.

As Zeke's eyes locked onto Elish, his dead expression suddenly changed, and he regained consciousness. 

"Guaaaaghhhh!!!" He screamed at the sight of Elish and continued shouting the same desperate words.

"M-My hand. Where is my hand? My hand. M-My… " he rambled in madness.

It seemed Zeke was beyond redemption, but Elish saw an opportunity in his current state. He could still be of use.

"[Hex #94: Protective Haven]," Elish muttered, encasing Zeke within a protective barrier.

The shivering man looked around him in confusion, his eyes trembling like a rat with no escape left for him.

"Pandora… take this man," Elish ordered.

Immediately, Zeke was sucked into the ring, still screaming the same frenzied words.
