"Francis," James said, his voice laced with a newfound respect. "So what did she say? Did she reject you?"
Francis stood in silence. He could not bear James's talk anymore. He said, "Prince, I will think about it later. Right now, we have to concentrate on our path."
Francis pulled the reins of the horse and sped up. He moved from James's side, and James kept his gaze on his path. His face became stern after hearing Francis's answers.
Everyone found themselves united by a common goal as they embarked on a perilous journey to Sofia. Rumors had spread of a multitude of menacing creatures lurking in the city, wreaking havoc on its inhabitants. Determined to put an end to the terror and protect the innocent, the unlikely trio set out together.
