Mara a petite girl opened her eyes weakly and saw the same familiar old tiny room. She coughed as she tried to get up with difficulty. Bloodstained her yellow threadbare dress and the corner of her lips and she had several wounds all over her body. Seeing them, she smiled bitterly. Had her mama been alive she wouldn't have to suffer like this. Her mum died due to food poisoning and her dad brought in a new wife the next week and she was turned into a maid. She couldn't continue her studies nor put on nice clothes. The dresses she has are those either gifted to her by neighbors or those she was asked to throw away. She is close to being a skeleton as she is always starved each day. Today because she broke the mop stick by accident, her stepbrother beat her silly with the other siblings recording or cheering him up. She coughed again and sighed.

"I will die very soon. I hope that...I'll....that someone will be able to avenge me and my mother," she whispered as hot tears began to flow from her eyes.

"I've heard you dear.I'm also tired of doing nothin. It's time to have some fun"

Mara was startled.

"Who's there?" she asked worriedly in a hoarse voice.

"Me!" a figure appeared on the bed stunning Mara.
