Chapter 6: Honey Trap (1)

I open my eyes to notice that it was morning already. I stand up and start to stretch my body to wake up my muscles and let the blood flow.

"Finally, I feel clam again".

After sending the fox with Lifen, I started meditating to calm my angry mind.

It took me the whole night just to calm myself so I had no time to sleep at all. But that was no problem because cultivators in this novel rarely needed to sleep. Instead, they could just meditate to refresh their body and mind.

The higher your cultivation was, the less you needed to sleep. In my case, I just needed 4 hours of sleep every three days.

"Ok, let's do this", I say while cracking my neck.

Now that the fox was taken care of, I needed to move on with my plan.

I needed to do two things, the first one was to improve my relations with my new mother.

Fixing my relationship with her will give me her support when I start to do the second thing,

which is cleaning the traitors in the sect.

Yes, there are many traitors in this sect who are leaking information and stealing resources.

Some were from other demonic sects, some were from the righteous sects, and some were planning to betray the sect.

All those people had been in the sect for a very long time so it will be very hard to prove that they were traitors. So I was planning on just killing them.

But I can't do this alone as there are a lot of people for me to take care of. There is also the problem of them getting to know about my clean up and escaping. So I have to use some of the sects assassins to take them out in one fell swoop.

But if I use the sects assassins to do this, of course my mother will find out and that's the problem.

How do I explain it to her that these people are traitors or will became traitors without proof.

So, if I have her support and trust, I can go on killing the traitors without her asking me how I came to know about them.

Although our relation is not good, and Lei is complete trash, it does not mean that she hates him. If she did hate him, Lei would have been kicked out the sect long ago.

In the novel, it was mentioned that she was very devoted to the sect. So much that she would kill all those who would show even a little disrespect to it. But there was a part where the readers thought that she might have loved Lei more than the sect even though she never showed it.

After Lei's death, she cried for the very first time in her life and went crazy looking for his murderer. She went on killing everyone who came in her path or anyone related to Lei's death. This made the other powerful sects to form an alliance just to stop her killing spree. It was very wired that she did all that for him as they did not have a close relationship.

'I need to go and have a proper talk with her what is her attitude toward me'

I was about to go to my mother when a certain thought came to my mind.

Thinking about all these traitors just gave me an idea that will make things a lot more interesting if it works.

"You, the one outside, come in", I say and then a woman enters my room.

"Greetings my lord, my name is Qin. I will work as your guard until Lifen returns"

"Hmm," I say and look at her up and down.

She was a tall muscular woman with sun-kissed skin and short brown hair.

She was wearing a sleeveless turtleneck that had an open back. Her muscular arms, which had some scars here and there, were on full display just like her back.

Although she gave off tomboyish vibes and was kind of muscular, her ample breasts and delicate face made her look feminine enough.

I go near her and start touching her body all over.

"You have an incredible body", I say while touching her abs.

"tha..thank you, my lord", she said while trying to look calm but the blush on her ears gave away her emotions.

I chuckle at her cute reaction and say,

"I like you, so you don't have to go back when Lifen returns"

A look of surprise appears on her face and she speaks hesitantly,

"A..are yo..you sure my lord. Tha..that you would want someone like me around you"

"Why, is there something wrong with you?", I ask a little confused

"I..I am big, muscular, and have scars all over my body. Very different from those beautiful delicate women that other men prefer to have around them. I am just ugly and will make you look bad", she said while looking down, trying to hide her sad expression.

I was a little surprised by her answer. How could such a big and strong-looking woman have such a cute side?

I go near her, pinch her chin and lift her face up,

"I don't think you're ugly at all", I say and move my hand to caress her cheek

"So don't go saying stuff like that ever again because from now on, you are mine", I say with a little smile.

"ye..yes, ma..my lord", she says with a tomato-red face and teary eyes.

'If I had said this line in my previous world to a girl, she would have cringed to death', I think inwardly.

I don't know who this woman was, as she was not mentioned in the novel, but I liked her reactions. So I decided to keep her with me.

'But no reversal postings huh. Is this not a significant change for the system to award me points for?' I question myself hoping the system would elaborate on this but I get no answer.

I move toward my bed and command her,

"I need you to go get me all the assassins that specialize in undercover, honey trap, and infiltrating missions."

"Yes, my lord", she says and leaves in a hurry.

My mood was quite good after seeing her reactions when I realized that I needed to write all the details about what I wanted the assassins to do.

Sure I can explain them my plan but that will take a long time. So it was better for me to just give them everything in written form.

I sigh and was about to go write the stuff when suddenly the system screen pops up,
