Ted and Stream went to work on finding the crafting spec for Mechsmith, "look at that, that's an Ionide stinger, so I would suggest a stealthy approach but looking at your cyber ware suggests that you would make a perfect distraction." Ted looks at Stream and asks, "What do you mean by that?" Stream replied, "Nothing, come on, we have a time limit before the lights turn back on." Ted didn't understand why she said that when the lights weren't off, seconds later, the lights turned off. "How convenient," Ted said in a sarcastic tone. Stream and Ted activated their night goggles and went on the search for the crafting spec, "I don't know what's so important about a crafting spec." Ted accidentally bumps into a wall. "Will you focus?" I don't understand why she made me take on this gig with a moronic rookie like you... The crafting spec that Mechsmith wants is the blueprints to cyber ware that will prove helpful with a big heist that Mechsmith is planning to execute... So pardon my manners when I say shut up and find that crafting spec." Ted and Stream continued sneaking until they found the location of the crafting spec. "Finally! I will have what I will need!" Stream walked inside the garage but found nothing but junk. The lights turned back on and the cameras exposed her location.

"Alert, Intruder in garage 5, repeat, Intruder in the garage!" Stream fled the scene, abandoning Ted in the process. Ted tried to use whatever Mechsmith said he had but he was unsure of how to use it, the guards were close to finding Ted when Ionide Stinger short-circuited, it shut for a second, and after rebooting, it targeted the guards. "Well, what are you waiting for? Run!!" Said an anonymous voice on the phone that Ted never answered. Ted fled the scene, almost gasping for air. He tried to speak with whoever was on the line but they hung up.

Ted was exhausted and wanted to catch a break, he made it to the road where Mayne's car was waiting for him, he called Mayne to see if he left his car with him but Mayne denied it, believing his car was long gone. "It's right here in front of me..." That was when Ted had this thought, remembered back to when he used the car. He entered inside, drove to the location, was being shot at by agents and the next thing, it goes rogue and shot the agents, it then changes its form into a butler-like car and drove away. "Mayne, I think I'm..." before he could finish his dialogue, the door opened, showing Melanie, "hey there handsome, thanks for letting me borrow your car, it was such a big help..." Ted didn't understand what Melanie was referring to. "You sent me a text saying that I can use it, don't you remember?" Ted was spooked by what was going on but decided to go along with it. "Oh... I must've forgotten, silly old me!" Melanie laughed at Ted's joke, "Anyway, do you think we still have time for that... date?"

"Sure but how about I'll show you around Normalan, think of it as a thank you for letting me use your ride." Ted agreed and entered the car. Meanwhile, Mayne and Bolt waited inside the bunker for the psycho car to get back at them. "pst! Mayne, can I say something?" asked Bolt, "Make it quick!" Bolt responded, "do you mind if I go to the bathroom?" Mayne looks at Bolt and asks, "why are you telling me this?" Bolt replied, "you would have gotten pissed and told me to sit back down and I could use the bathroom right now." Mayne gestured to Bolt to go but to also return ASAP, Bolt dashed into the bathroom while Mayne received a phone call from Mechsmith. "What's up?"
