Meet the Parents

Early in the morning, Jason pulled his white Camaro in front of Tori's house and parked in the driveway next to Trina's car. Jason stepped out of his car and walked towards the front door. Upon reaching the door, he rang the doorbell and waited for someone to answer.

The door opened and he saw that it was Mrs. Vega, who smiled at the sight of the young man whom she knew to be her daughter's boyfriend.

"Good morning, Jason. Picking up Tori again?" She asked.

"Yes, ma'am." Jason replied respectfully.

"Well, she's still getting ready upstairs, so it'll probably be a few more minutes." She told him.

"Okay, I'll just wait for her in my car." He said.

"Don't be silly, you can just wait on the couch." She said, inviting him inside.

Giving her a thankful nod, Jason stepped into the house and headed towards the couch. He sat down at the end closest to the door and waited for Tori to come down. Hearing footsteps on the stairs, he looked to see if it was Tori, but was disappointed to see that it was Trina instead.

"Hey, Trina..." He greeted the girl.

"Ugh." Trina said as her face scrunched up in disgust at the boy. She quickly grabbed her bag and walked out the door, not forgetting to slam it as she left.

"Good morning to you too..." He muttered, a thin smile on his face.

"Sorry about her, Sweetie. Ever since she found out that you and Tori have been dating she's been acting like... well..." Mrs. Vega trailed off, trying to find the right words.

"A bitter, sad, and lonely person who has nothing to look forward to besides a few dozen cats?" Jason guessed.

"I was gonna say "her," but sure, that works too." She said whilst nodding her head in agreement.

Jason chuckled before looking around at his surroundings.

"So, where's Mr. Vega?" He asked.

"Oh, he's at work." She answered. "He's always out the door bright and early. Why do you ask?"

"Oh... no reason..." Jason waved his hand at the woman before looking away and letting out a big sigh of relief.

Mrs. Vega saw this and laughed a bit at the boy, who was obviously scared of her husband.

"You don't have to worry about him, Sweetie." She told him. "He may try and scare you with his big bad cop talk, but he only does that to protect his little girl. Besides, he actually really likes you."

"Really?" Jason asked.

"Mm-hmm. You're a nice, respectful young man who adores our daughter as much as he does. And you obviously make her happy." She answered.

"I do?" He asked, smiling a little.

"Of course you do! The girl hasn't stopped smiling since you to became an item. It's written all over her face!" She exclaimed.

Almost on cue, Tori walked down the stairs and saw her mom and her boyfriend sitting in the living room. Jason looked over and sure enough, there was a big smile on her face.

"Hey, Baby." Tori greeted, wrapping her arms around his neck from behind the couch and giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Hey." He greeted back with a kiss of his own.

"What are you two talking about?" She asked.

"Apparently about how happy I make you." Jason replied with a teasing smile.

Tori's eyes immediately widened and turned towards her mother.

"Mom!" She exclaimed, embarrassed by the implications of what Jason had just said. "What did you tell him?!"

"It's nothing to be so embarrassed about." Her mother waved off. "I just said that he makes you all happy and smiley, that's all."

There was that word again... smiley...

"Mom!" Tori exclaimed once more.

"Be embarrassed on your own time. Right now, you have to go to school." Her mother told them both as she got up and proceeded to usher them both out of the house.

Tori tried to argue with her, but it only came out as indiscernible stammers as the door was shut on the both of them.

"Rude!" Tori yelled through the door.

"But not wrong, we gotta go." Jason said as he grabbed his girlfriend by the hand and led her to his car.

Opening the door for her, Jason waited as Tori sat down in the passenger seat before closing her door and getting in on the other side.

"Hey, just so you know, Trina is still pretty peeved about the fact that we're together..." Tori warned him.

"I know." Jason droned as he started his car and backed out of the driveway. "She made her feelings pretty apparent when she looked at me like I just burned her favorite pair of shoes.."

Tori groaned before holding the hand that Jason had resting on the armrest. She felt him moving his hand away for a brief second before she felt his fingers interlace with hers.

"I'm sorry about Trina. I had no idea she was going to be this obnoxious." Tori said.

"You don't have anything to be sorry about." He said, keeping his blank expression towards the road. "Your sister is the one acting childish, not you."

"I know, but I can't help but feel a little guilty." She told him.

"Guilty?" Jason asked, his face shifting to one of confusion.

"Uh-huh." Tori nodded. "We've just got together and already you have to deal with Trina. I would've liked it to have been at least a month before she started annoying you."

Jason laughed and held Tori's hand tighter.

"You don't have to be sorry about anything. If putting up with Trina being petty for a few weeks before she suddenly moves onto some other dude is the price for being with you, then I'll happily pay it every single time." He said.

Tori smiled, thinking that what he said was very, very sweet.

-----------------------------------------

Jason and Tori walked into school hand in hand, seeing that most of their friends, Kevin, Jade, André and Beck, were all talking as they stood in the middle of the hallway.

"Hey, guys." Tori greeted happily.

"Wassup?" Jason asked, wondering what they were talking about.

Jade instantly rolled her eyes at the sight of the couple, feeling as if their relationship was going to make her break out in hives.

"Hey, we were just looking at the new play roster that they just put up." Kevin told him.

"Ooh, yay!" Tori exclaimed, running over to the group and trying to read what was on the play roster.

"Oof, lame." Jason groaned.

Tori rolled her eyes at Jason, playfully slapping him on the arm.

"Why don't you ever want to try out for any of the plays?" She asked.

"I told you, I don't do extracurriculars." He answered.

"But you've been in every single one of Kevin's plays." She pointed out. "And you've even been in the lead role more than a few times."

"She's got you there, man." André said.

Jason gave his traitorous friend a pointed stare, making him raise his hands up in surrender.

"Plus, you love acting. You randomly go into different accents and characters all the time." She said.

"I love messing around with accents and characters because it's fun. Not so much when I'm actually performing on stage as them." Jason told her.

"Come on, it'll be fun!" Tori pouted. "Plus, if we both score the leads then that means that you can kiss me on stage in front of everyone."

Jason rolled his eyes at seeing his girlfriend trying so desperately to get him to get up on stage with her. It was honestly tempting, if it wasn't for one fatal flaw in her idea.

"What's stopping me from kissing you in front of everyone now?" He smirked as he slowly inched his face closer to Tori's.

The girl in question did nothing to stop him, only choosing to wrap her arms around him.

"Seriously, I just ate breakfast." Jade groaned.

The two stopped, with Jason staring at Jade with a disgruntled look. Tori didn't look towards Jade, but she did roll her eyes at the utter hypocrisy that left her mouth.

"This coming from the girl who played tonsil hockey with her boyfriend when they were right in front of his parents?" Tori pointed out as she turned her face towards Jade in a huff.

Hearing this, Jade cleared her throat, clearly surprised by the sudden comeback, while Kevin chose to look away whilst whistling an unfamiliar tune he made up on the spot.

"Gross..." André groaned.

"You two actually did that?" Beck asked.

Kevin said nothing, only continuing to whistle, while Jade looked at the two with her signature glare, which promptly shut them up.

"As much fun as it is making Jade angry, I gotta get ready for class." Jason said, making Jade turn her glare towards him.

Unfazed, Jason gave Tori a quick kiss on the cheek before heading off to grab his books from his locker.

"Aww, I was hoping that we could be in a play together." Tori whined.

"Yeah, you're a little too late for that." Beck spoke up. "Jason doesn't really like acting or plays anymore."

"Why?" She asked.

"No one knows." He replied with a shrug. "He just stopped signing up for plays and we never asked."

"You didn't ask? None of you?" Tori asked with a raised eyebrow.

Everyone one of the boys shook their heads.

"We figured that since he didn't tell us what happened then he didn't want us asking in the first place." André told her.

After giving her an answer, André, Beck and Kevin all left to go get ready for class. As he left, Tori followed Kevin to his locker and waited patiently for him to turn around.

"What do you want?" Kevin asked as he opened his locker, feeling her presence from behind him.

"What's the reason why Jason doesn't do plays anymore?" She asked him.

"What makes you think I know?" He asked, grabbing his books out of his locker before closing it.

"You're his best friend. If there was anything happening with Jason, you would know." She replied.

"True enough." He said, closing his locker and turning around to face her.

"Does that mean you'll tell me?" She asked hopefully.

"Nope." He shot down immediately, walking away from her and heading towards his first class.

"Come on! Please!" She pleaded, following after him.

"Listen, it's family stuff, Tori. Even if I wanted to tell you, which I don't, it's not my place to tell anyway." He told her before continuing on his way.

'Family stuff?' Tori thought.

Was Jason going through some stuff with his family? Now that she thought about it, Jason knew pretty much everyone in her family, but she didn't know anyone from Jason's. Hell, she doesn't know anything about his family life at all.

She knew that he had one. And she knew that he apparently has a sister that he doesn't like to talk about all that much, but that's pretty much all she knew.

Before she could think about it further, the bell rang and snapped her out of her thoughts.

-----------------------------------------

Now at lunch, the whole gang of friends, besides Robbie for some reason, were sitting together as they all were severely judging Cat for the absolute weirdo that she is.

"Are you serious?" André asked.

"Yes." Cat answered.

"You're joking. You actually put the milk before the cereal?" Beck asked.

"I put my milk before my cereal." Cat confirmed.

"That's 'cause you're a weirdo." Jason told her as he was scrolling through his phone with his right hand, with his left arm being draped around Tori's shoulders.

"No, it's 'cause it's good." Cat retorted.

"You put your milk before your cereal?" Jade asked, just now focusing on the conversation.

"I go milk first and then cereal." Cat told her.

"But how do you know how much milk you need?" Beck asked.

"You just put a big ol' bowl." She answered.

"You probably waste a lotta milk..." Jason commented.

"And then I heat it up, and then I pour the cereal--"

"Hold up, hold up, hold up." Jason interrupted Cat, his gaze lifting from his phone. "You heat WHAT up?"

"The milk." She answered.

Every single person at the table had very different reactions, but all of them were varying degrees of shock, horror, or disgust.

"Why?!" André exclaimed.

"Because the milk is cold--"

"No. No, no, no, no, no, you're heating up your milk?" Jade asked with a disgusted face.

"Yes." Cat answered.

"How do you heat it up?" Jason asked.

"Thirty seconds--"

"No...." Tori groaned.

"In a bowl in the microwave." Cat continued.

"No, you do not heat up milk for cereal..." Tori said, refusing to believe it.

"Cat..." Jason called out.

"Yeah?" She replied.

"Are you being serious?" He asked.

"Yes. That's how I did it ever since I was a kid." Cat said.

"Who taught you to warm up the milk?" Tori asked as if she was a disappointed parent.

"My brother." She replied. "Because he said that it's good for making people smarter."

"It's not." Jason told her bluntly.

"Cold milk gives me a brain freeze too..." Cat told them.

Before they could continue on with their horrifying conversation, Robbie finally made his appearance at lunch, only he was stumbling around like a newborn as he was wearing a trash can over his head.

"Robbie?" Kevin asked, still quite unsure if it was actually him.

"Kevin, is that you?!" Robbie asked, his muffled voice sounding desperate.

"Yeah, what the hell happened to you?" He asked.

"Please just help get this thing off me! Please!" He begged.

Kevin immediately stood up from the table and headed towards Robbie. Grabbing the handles on either side, Kevin lifted the trash can off of Robbie and threw it off to the side. Once it was off, everyone could see that Robbie had pieces of discarded food all over him and his clothes.

"Oh, my God, thank you..." Robbie thanked Kevin, about to pull him into a hug before Kevin pushed him away.

"Yeah, a nod would be enough." Kevin told him with a thin smile.

Seeing that he was covered in garbage, Robbie nodded his head as he now understood why Kevin didn't want to be touched by him.

"You know, that was a good look for you. It really distracts people from your face." Jason said, getting a few laughs from Beck, Jade and André.

The more morally inclined members of the group just shook their heads, including Tori, who shoved his shoulder. Jason didn't really mind it too much as he only smiled at her when she did.

"So why were you wearing a trash can?" André asked the boy covered in garbage.

"There's this guy, Matthew St. John, you guys know him?" Robbie asked, getting no's from everyone at the table. "Well, he's a real ass. Every time before I go to lunch, he always threatens me into giving him money."

"So you decided to stand up to him and he dumped a trash can on your head?" Jason asked.

"No, I gave him the money and he did it anyway..." Robbie told him.

Jason honestly didn't know what he expected, but then again, it was Robbie they were talking about here.

"Alright." Jason sighed, unwrapping his arm from around Tori and going to stand up from the table.

"What are you about to do?" Kevin asked, recognizing the face that Jason was making all too well.

"I'm about to beat the shit out of somebody, that's what I'm about to do." He replied, instantly being grabbed by the arm by Tori.

"Uh, no you're not!" She exclaimed.

"Yeah, you'll be suspended!" Robbie added. "Again!"

"So?" Jason asked, not seeing the problem.

"You're really gonna risk being suspended for me?" Robbie asked, his voice sounding touched.

"Aye, you're our friend." Jason told him, motioning towards everyone except Jade. "Only we can fuck with you."

His reply gets nods of agreement from most of the boys, namely Beck and André, meanwhile Kevin was trying to come up with a way to not have Robbie's bully end up on a tombstone.

"You're not doing anything." Kevin told him. "I'll help him out."

"And how exactly are you gonna do that, Mr. Morality?" Jason asked.

"If Robbie just stand up to him, then he'll leave him alone. Bullies are all bark and no bite, we all know that." Kevin said.

"Whatever you say." Jason rolled his eyes, not exactly fond of his plan, but he was gonna let him do it anyway. "You ask me, the only way to stop someone from messing with you is to hoist thine hands."

"Wait, I don't want to hurt anybody..." Robbie spoke up, making Kevin and Jason look over towards him.

"Bro, why can't I have one friend, ONE FRIEND that wants to put up them hands, bruh?!" Jason yelled out as he grabbed his bag and walked away from the table. "I'm gonna find one person in this school that's gonna ascend them hands, I swear to God that I--"

Jason's rant continued as he walked back into the school. Tori looked worriedly at the door where Jason had just walked through, unsure if they should've just let him leave.

"Uh, he's not going to try and fight someone is he?" She asked around.

"Probably not. If I had to guess, he's just annoyed that none of us are as prone to violence as he is." André told her.

She nodded at his answer.

"By the way, how many phrases for putting your hands up does he have?" She asked, genuinely curious.

"Too many..." Kevin sighed.

"Hey, where's Rex?" Cat suddenly asked, making everyone turn towards Robbie.

"I-I don't know!" He said, his voice sounding panicked. "I had him when I got the trash can stuck on me!"

"He's right here." Kevin said.

Robbie turned around and saw Kevin looking inside the trash can that he had on his head. Peering in himself, Robbie saw that Rex was sitting at the bottom of the trash can.

"Get me out of here!" The puppet yelled out.

Robbie quickly went into the trash and pulled Rex out. When the puppet was finally free, there was a cup of pink yogurt on top of his head, spilling its contents all over it.

"Take me... to the bathroom... now..." The puppet seethed.

-----------------------------------------

Jason was currently putting away his textbooks in his locker, not noticing his girlfriend come up behind him.

"Hey." Tori greeted, getting his attention.

Jason turned around and smiled at her, replying with a "Hey" of his own before shutting his locker.

"So what you doin'?" Tori asked in a sing songy voice.

"I was just... putting my books in my locker." He said, his thumb pointing behind him towards the locker.

"Cool, cool..." She said, tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "So... how are your parents doing?"

"My parents? What?" Jason asked, a grin coming onto his face from the sudden and unexpected question.

"What? It's an innocent question." Tori defended.

"Yeah, but you've never asked about them before. What's up?" He asked, still amused by the weird question.

"I don't know..." Tori whined. "I just realized that you basically met everyone in my family and I don't even know your parent's names."

"Huh..." Jason muttered. "Yeah, I guess that's true. So, what? You wanna meet them?"

Tori seemed to be shocked by the suggestion.

"Can I? I mean, I don't want you to introduce me because I wanted you to introduce me. I have no problem waiting until you're ready, of course if you're ready now then I--"

"You're cute when you ramble, you know that?" Jason suddenly cut her off.

"Yeah..." She said shyly, making Jason laugh.

"So, you wanna go meet them now?" He asked.

"NO!" Tori suddenly exclaimed, making Jason flinch back. "Sorry! It's just that I want to make a good impression and--"

"Hey, it's cool." Jason told her. "What about this weekend? I'm sure that my parents got nothing going on."

"This weekend." Tori agreed.

"Great." Jason smiled, giving her a peck on the cheek. "I'll see you after school."

Tori nodded her head and Jason left to go to class. As she saw Jason turn the corner, Tori immediately took off in the other direction and ran straight towards André.

"Hey, Tori-- WHOA!"

Without any warning, she grabbed him by the arm and pulled him into the Janitor's closet.

"I need help!" She told him.

"You don't say..." André responded, massaging the wrist that Tori had dragged him by.

"Jason wants me to meet his parents this weekend." Tori told him, making the boy's face light up with a smile.

"That's great!" He exclaimed.

"IT'S HORRIBLE!" She snapped.

André jumped back, bringing his hands close to his chest.

"What if they don't like me?! What if they want us to break up?! Oh, my God, what have I done?! I should've kept my mouth shut and just awkwardly waved at them as my dad walked me down the aisle!" She said, making André do a double take.

"The aisle? Girl, you already planning your wedding?!" He asked.

"That is so not the issue right now!" Tori told him.

"Uh, as your future Man of Honor, I disagree." He retorted.

Tori raised an eyebrow at him. "Man of Honor?"

"Yeah, Kevin is obviously going to be Jason's Best Man, so since that spot is already taken, I'm going to be your Best Man, or Man of Honor." He said proudly.

"What's stopping Jason from just making the both of you his Best Man?" She asked.

"He can do that?" André asked.

"I don't see why not. I mean I wouldn't have a problem with-- wait, what are we talking about?! No ones going to be anything since his parent are going to break us up, then I'll be sad, alone, and have like thirty cats!" She exclaimed, her tone becoming sadder and sadder.

"Come on, that's not gonna happen." André told her.

"It's not?" She asked.

"Nah." He shook his head. "You're obviously a dog person."

"André!" Tori whined.

"Relax. You're trippin' out for nothing. The Riley's are cool. Just be yourself and they're gonna love you." He told her, making her feel significantly better.

"Really?" She asked hopefully.

"Yeah. Plus, even if they do break you guys up, I'm sure Jason has no problem eloping." He said.

Tori's hopeful smile was wiped off her face as she slumped over herself in despair.

-----------------------------------------

"Hey, guys." Jason greeted his parents as he walked through the door.

"Hey, Jay." His father responded, not even looking back at his son as he was too busy riddling someone full of bullets of Black Ops 2.

"Hi, Sweetie." His mother greeted with a smile. "Do you want a snack? Your father bought some of these grapes that taste like cotton candy."

Jason looked towards his father with confusion "Why?"

"Why not?" He responded.

Rolling his eyes, Jason looked towards his mother and answered, "No, I'm good thanks."

Jason walked out of the living room and went up the stairs to his room. He changed into a pair of comfortable clothes before heading back down the stairs and sitting on the couch next to his dad.

"How close are you to diamond?" He asked.

"Just finished all of the Crossbow challenges, now all I have left is the Ballistic Knife." Deacon replied.

Jason's fondness of games stemmed from his father, although their preferences couldn't be more different. Jason usually stuck to single-player games while Deacon exclusively plays multiplayer.

"What do you guys want for dinner?" Elizabeth asked.

"I'm good with anything." Deacon replied. "What about you?"

"Nah, I'm good with whatever." Jason said.

"Okay, how does spaghetti sound to you guys?" She asked.

"Great."

"Sounds good"

Both father and son replied, both not taking their eyes off the TV.

"Hey, after this match, you wanna hop on some zombies?" Deacon asked.

"Yeah sure." Jason replied.

"Which map?" He asked, getting nothing but a blank stare from Jason "Right, Origins, my bad."

"I call the Ice Staff." Jason called out.

"Oh, you son of a--"

-----------------------------------------

At the McCallister household, Kevin and Robbie had decided that it was best to go to Kevin's house to work on Robbie's current predicament.

"Alright!" Kevin yelled, making Robbie flinch from the suddenness of it all.

Seeing his reaction, Kevin rose an eyebrow.

"Really?" Kevin asked. "We haven't even started yet."

"You startled me!" Robbie exclaimed.

"You were startled by a squirrel on your way over here." Rex pointed out

"They are shifty!" Robbie told him.

Kevin was starting to have some second thoughts about this situation now. If he was getting startled already, how is he going to react when he faces his bully?

Before anything else could be said, Mr. McCallister had walked through the door and saw his son and his friends hanging out in the living room.

"Kev, Robbie." He greeted the both of them.

"Hey, dad." Kevin responded.

"Hey, Mr. McCallister." Robbie replied.

"What are you two doing?" He asked as he removed his jacket and placed it on the rack next to the door.

"Trying to help Robbie out with some dude who's been messing with him." Kevin told his father.

"Ah... Have you tried punching him in the nose?" Fergus asked.

"What? No!" Robbie exclaimed.

"Oh, well." Fergus shrugged, walking away from the two and heading towards the kitchen.

"What is with everyone suggesting that I should fight him?" Robbie asked Kevin.

"Because violence is always the answer to your problems." Rex told him.

"Violence is not the answer to all your problems." Kevin retorted.

"Then you aren't using enough of it." Replied Rex.

"My dad's a psycho, my best friend's a psycho and my other friend is attached to a psycho puppet... What even is my life?" Kevin muttered, feeling as if he had no one to blame but himself.

-----------------------------------------

Back at the Riley household, the whole family was eating dinner together at the dining table. They all ate together in silence for the first few moments before Elizabeth asked the question she asks every time they have dinner.

"So, how was your day?"

"It was good. Robbie walked into lunch wearing a trash can, so that was pretty funny." Jason told her.

"I'm sorry, he was wearing a what?" Deacon asked.

"A trash can." Jason told him.

"Why was your friend wearing a trash can?" Elizabeth asked, almost afraid of what Jason's answer was going to be.

"Eh, didn't ask." Jason replied, lying to his parents.

As much as he hated doing so, he also knew that if he said that someone dumped it on his, then his mother would be making calls to everyone under the sun. And given how that usually just makes it worse, he decided to keep his mouth shut for the time being.

"Your friend walked into lunch wearing a trash can and you didn't ask why?" Elizabeth asked.

"I tend to not ask too many questions about something. Gives me plausible deniability." Jason replied.

"Can't argue with that..." Deacon muttered, taking a bite from his piece of garlic bread.

"Okay, well, did anything else happen?" She asked.

"Oh, I was wondering if you guys had any plans this weekend?" Jason asked.

"I don't think so." Elizabeth said, looking towards her husband, who responded by shaking his head. "Why?"

"I want you guys to meet my girlfriend."

"GIRLFRIEND?!" Elizabeth yelled out in shock.

Deacon started to choke on his garlic bread. Whether or not the cause was his son's statement or his wife's sudden outburst, no one knew.

"Since when did you have a girlfriend?!" Elizabeth asked.

"Uh... about a week ago?" Jason said, not exactly sure about the timing since he and Tori never did specify on when exactly their relationship started.

"A WEEK?!" Elizabeth yelled out again.

"Yup. Well, actually I asked her out three weeks ago, but we didn't go on our first date until last weekend. I actually need to ask her about that, excuse me a second?" Jason asked, getting broken speech from his mother and the go ahead from his father.

With Jason gone, Deacon looked towards his wife, who seemed to have had a system malfunction.

"Honey." He called out, receiving no reply. "Honey, breathe."

"Huh?" She said.

"Breathe."

Taking her husband's advice, Elizabeth took a deep breath in and out.

"Jason's never brought home a girl before..." She said.

"Well... that's not technically true..." Deacon muttered.

Elizabeth looked towards her husband in confusion.

"He brought Jade..." He said.

"Oh, my God..." Elizabeth muttered as her eyes became as wide as dinner plates.

As much as they loved their son's friends, they had to admit that they weren't exactly fond of Jade. They didn't dislike the girl, no, but she isn't exactly the best person for Jason to hang around with, especially alone. Those two on their own are borderline sociopaths, but together?

They had walked in on them having an argument about the their favorite weapons. Which then evolved into them going into very disturbing specifics on just how they would use said weapons.

Jade's method was rather predictable, just using a pair of scissors to stab people. Meanwhile, Jason's method was to wrap a bat with barbed wire and start swinging at the person. "Bleeding them and bludgeon them at the same time." He said. They had no idea where he got it from, but Elizabeth blamed Deacon for it for some reason.

"Relax, I doubt there's another girl that acts like Jade in his school." Deacon said. "Besides, did you forget that we already know about the girl?"

Elizabeth was again confused, but then she had remembered Jason talking about a certain girl nonstop for the past few months.

"Oh, my God... I completely forgot about her..." She confessed. "When he said that he had a girlfriend, everything that he told us just went straight out the window."

"I know, I know, the thought of your little boy growing up is hard, but it isn't that big of a deal. Plus, when he finally moves out, we'll have the whole house to ourselves." Deacon said suggestively.

"You know that when he moves out that you'll be out of a player 2?" She pointed out.

Deacon paused for a second, taking in the magnitude of his wife's statement. "Nuh-uh..."

Elizabeth rolled her eyes at her husbands response. He obviously didn't think of the repercussions of Jason finally growing up and leaving even though they had already been through it all with one of their babies. Tessa's departure was hard on everyone.

Especially Jason.

"So!" Jason exclaimed as he walked back into the dining room. "It's three weeks."

"Absolutely not!" Deacon yelled out suddenly, confusing his son.

"I feel like I'm missing some context here..." Jason said, staring at his father weirdly.

"You are not moving out of this house as long as I live!" Deacon declared, leaving no room for negotiation.

"So about three weeks?" Jason asked blankly.

-----------------------------------------

"So Tori's finally meeting your parents huh?" Kevin asked.

After dinner, Jason went to his room and called Kevin to hop on and play some Left 4 Dead. The duo were currently telling each other about their day whilst simultaneously making their way towards another safe room.

"Mm-hmm, she's coming over for dinner on Saturday." He told him.

"Never thought I'd see the day." Kevin said.

"To be honest, me neither." Jason replied.

"My boy is really growing up." Kevin said as his voice cracked in fake sadness.

Jason rolled his eyes as he could actually physically feel this man wiping away a fake tear from his eye.

"Now if only we could do something about that tendency towards violence that you have, maybe then you'll actually be a semi-decent human being." Kevin added.

"Fuck. Off. You're just as bad as I am. Actually you're worse." Jason told him.

"How in the hell did you come up with that bullshit?" He asked.

"Because when I get angry, I let it out immediately. When you get angry, it just festers inside until it comes out as unyielding rage." Jason answered.

"The lies that you tell to make yourself feel better. It okay to admit that you have--"

Before Kevin could finish, a Hunter suddenly flies towards him and starts to pummel his character.

"OH SHIT!" He yelled.

Jason quickly riddled the Hunter full of bullets, killing him before he could kill Kevin. As soon as he got up, Kevin switched to his shotgun and started to blast the Hunter's dead body.

"FUCKIN' BITCH-- PUT ANOTHER ONE IN HIM, YAAAAGH!"

This process of shooting and yelling expletives continued until he ran out of ammo.

"Welcome to the Jason Is Always Right Foundation, we are currently taking donations." Jason said as he watched Kevin proceed to beat the Hunter's corpse with a fireman's axe.

-----------------------------------------

It was now the next day, and both Tori and Jason had just finished buying their lunch. Jason got what he usually gets, a chicken wrap with some ranch, and Tori got a burger and fries with a side of mayonnaise.

"I'm just saying, I've never heard of someone putting mayonnaise on their fries." Jason said to her.

"Well, not a lot of people are as sophisticated as I am." She responded, flipping her hair with a mock sense of superiority.

Jason laughed and they proceeded to sit down at one of the tables.

"Wanna try one?" Tori asked.

"Sure, why not?" He replied, wanting to see just what all the hype was about.

Tori dipped one of her fries in mayo before feeding it to her boyfriend.

"So?" She asked.

"Eh, not bad. Still prefer ketchup though." He said.

"Someone say ketchup?" Asked André as he sat down at the table.

"It's nothing, I just tried one of Tori's mayo fries." Jason told him.

"You actually tried that chaos spawn?" He asked with a disgusted look on his face.

"It not a chaos spawn!" Tori exclaimed. "You've never even tried it!"

"Because I don't want to commit heresy by putting anything but ketchup on my fries." André retorts.

"Heresy? What are you, a crusader?" Jason asked.

"Uh-huh, and I worship the food gods." He replied.

Tori looked towards Jason with confusion, mouthing "Food gods?" But he could only shake his head and shrugged his shoulders.

Before their conversation could continue, they were interrupted by an annoyed Kevin and a saddened Robbie slumping down at the table.

"The hell happened to you two?" Jason asked.

"Remember Mathew St. John?" Kevin asked.

"That guy who's been giving Robbie a hard time?" Tori asked.

"That's the one." Kevin said.

"What about him?" Jason asked.

"He stole my lunch money again..." Robbie said dejectedly.

"I thought you were going to help him stand up for himself?" Tori said to Kevin.

"He did, pickle-puss over here froze." Rex told her as he gestured towards Robbie.

"I didn't freeze!" Robbie exclaimed.

"No, you gave him your money just fine." Kevin groaned, getting a loud "HA!" as a response from Rex.

"I'm sorry! I'll get it right next time." Robbie told him.

"Oh, there ain't gonna be a next time." He said.

"What do you mean?" Robbie asked.

"I stayed up till midnight trying to help you stand up to this dude, I'm done, taggin' out, you're in." Kevin said, pointing towards Jason.

"Sweet." Jason replied, not even taking a second to think about it.

"Whoah, whoah, hold on!" Exclaimed Tori.

"I said that I didn't want to hurt anybody." Robbie spoke.

"Alright then, have fun with him taking your lunch money and dumping trash cans on your head." Jason replied, grabbing his tray and getting up from the table.

"Uh--"

"I got him." Kevin told Tori, getting up from the table and running to catch up with Jason.

"You're gonna go fight him, aren't you?" Kevin asked.

"You know me so well." Jason replied with a smile on his face.

-----------------------------------------

Walking out into the parking lot, Jason and Kevin took a look around to see where Robbie's bully was hanging around at.

"Where is he?" Jason asked.

"Over there." Kevin said, pointing at a boy in a blue jacket.

What Jason noticed immediately about the guy was that he looked relatively young compared to him and his friends.

"Wait a minute, is Robbie getting pushed around by a freshman?" He asked.

"Yup." Kevin answered.

"How the f-- Does he realize how pathetic that is?" Jason asked.

"Oh yeah, we talked about it at length last night..." Kevin groaned, not very fond of the memory.

"Why didn't you tell me about this?" Jason asked.

"Is it gonna change anything?" He asked back.

"No, not really."

Jason proceeded to walk to towards the boy. He saw that he was hanging around a car as he talked to a couple of his friends. Seeing that his friends were around didn't deter him in the slightest.

"Hey!" Jason yelled at a boy, grabbing his and all of his friends attention. "You Matthew?"

"Yeah." The boy responded, confused as to why this random guy walked up on him all of a sudden. That was until he saw Kevin behind him and pieced together everything. "Ugh, what do you want now?"

"We want you to leave Robbie alone." Kevin told him.

"Or what? Your friend's gonna whimper in my face like the last time?" He asked, his friends laughing at what he said.

'It wasn't even that funny...' Jason thought.

"Nah, fuck all that, run me them gauntlets." Jason said as he put his fists up.

The boy's face instantly turned into shock once he had heard what Jason had just said.

"What?" He asked.

"You heard what I said." Jason replied.

He turned towards his friends, who were looking away from him. Seeing as how he was basically on his own, he tried to talk his way out of the situation.

"Listen, man, I'll--"

"Ah! Stop all that talkin'. incline them knuckles." Jason interrupted him, not interested in what he wanted to say at all.

If he wanted to talk, he should've done that when they first came up.

"Look, I'm sorry, okay!" The boy exclaimed as he fished something out of his pocket. "Here, it's the money I took."

Jason looked towards Kevin, who shook his head at him. Letting out a groan, Jason snatched the money out of the boy's hand and walked away in a huff.

"Quit messin' with Robbie, or I'm not gonna stop him next time." Kevin told him before walking away and catching up with Jason again.

"See? I told you that violence doesn't solve anything." Kevin said.

Jason looked towards his best friend with narrowed eyes. "But the threat of violence does."

"Tomato, Pomegranate..." Kevin replied.

"I hate it when you say that..." Jason groaned.

He didn't know where he got it from, but instead of saying, "Tomato, Tom-ah-to" Kevin would always say, "Tomato, Pomegranate." Why? He didn't know, nor did he really care. All he knew was that it annoyed him to no end.

"I know." Kevin said smugly.

-----------------------------------------

"So, you didn't beat up a freshman?" Tori asked, completely engrossed in his story as she was taking clothes out of her closet.

"No, although I wish I did..." Jason muttered under his breath.

Tori laughed and placed a dress over herself as she walked in front of her mirror.

"Well, I'm glad you didn't. I'd rather not have my boyfriend be suspended. Plus, would've that had been your third suspension this year?" She asked.

"Yeah, so?" He asked.

"Dude! You could get expelled if it's your third time!" She exclaimed.

Jason's head had physically jerked back at what she had said, looking at his phone with confusion before putting it back up to his ear.

"What type of school did you go to last year?" He asked.

"Sherwood." She answered.

"I don't know what kinda rules are in Sherwood, but there ain't no way I'm getting expelled just because I got suspended three times." Jason told her. "Where did you even hear that?"

"Uh..."

Tori didn't really know how to respond, as it was always what she had thought would happen to someone when they had gotten suspended three times. Now that she had thought about it, she didn't know where she even got it from.

"I got to go and find something good to wear for dinner later. I'll talk to you later, okay?" She said, deciding to ignore the question that he had asked.

"A'ight." Jason replied.

"Okay-- WAIT! Should I wear something formal or--"

"Baby, it's just dinner at my house. Besides, you look amazing no matter what you wear." Jason said, cutting her off.

"That doesn't help me, Jacey." She told him in a sing songy tone.

Jason let out a sigh, "Informal."

"Thank you." She said in the same tone before hanging up.

Tori tossed the dress she had in her hand onto her bed and grabbed another set of clothes from her closet, these being a lot more casual than the dress she had tossed away. Placing it over herself, she immediately threw tossed the clothes away and let out a groan.

"Desperation is not a good look on you."

Tori spun around and was met with the sight of her sister standing in the doorway to her room. Tori released another groan, not appreciating her sister's usual snide comments at the moment.

"Please not today, I'm having dinner with Jason's parents and I--"

"I don't remember asking." Trina rudely interrupted before going to walk away.

"Wait!" Tori yelled out.

Trina let out a loud sigh and turned back towards her sister.

"Will you please help me pick out an outfit?" Tori begged.

"Why would I do that?" Trina asked.

"Because I'm your sister, and I could use some help?" She said.

"That's funny because I'm sure that sisters aren't supposed to steal their sister's dream guy." Trina replied.

It was at this point that Tori had had enough of her sister saying that she stole Jason from her. The stress of her sister being a complete bitch, well, more than usual, along with the added stress of meeting Jason's parents had made her reach her boiling point.

"What will it take for you to understand that he doesn't like you! He was never gonna like you!" She yelled at her.

"That's not true!" Trina yelled back.

"Yes it is! And it isn't our fault that we started dating! He likes me and I like him, I really really like him, so I don't care about if you're going to be difficult anymore! I'm happy and I'm not going to let you make me feel guilty about it!"

Tori shoved Trina out of the doorway and slammed the door, hard. Tired from dealing with her sisters, she plopped down on her bed bed and slumped her shoulders. On the other side of the door, and angry Trina twisted the door handle and walked back inside her sister's room, seeing that she was sitting on her bed, slumped over as she stared at the floor, upset.

Trina stared at the at Tori room and felt a gnawing sense of guilt deep... deep... DEEP in the pit of her stomach.

"Tori?" She called out.

Tori instantly snapped out of her slump and was prepared to shove Trina out of her room for a second time.

"Why can't you just--"

"Are you really happy?" Trina interrupted, her tone being one of genuine sincerity.

Tori's eyes widened, surprised by her sister's tone as she had expected that she came in to start another fight.

"I am..." She said.

Hearing her answer, Trina walked over to Tori's closet and started to look through it.

"What are you--"

"How much time until dinner?" Trina asked.

"Um, a couple hours, I--"

Trina turned and handed Tori an off-white shirt, leather leggings, and a pair of black heels that she had selected from her closet.

"Shut up and put this on."

-----------------------------------------

With the Riley's, Jason and his parents were putting the finishing touches on the dinner they were preparing tonight, steak with a side of mac and cheese and mashed potatoes.

"So her sister, who has a massive crush on you, caught the both of you kissing on her doorstep?" Deacon asked his son.

"Yup." Jason answered.

"And before that she had performed her a show that she had wrote herself and managed to get a standing ovation?" Elizabeth asked.

"Mhm." Jason hummed.

"So, basically, she had what was probably the best night of her life, but then all that came crashing down when she saw you smushing face with her sister?" Deacon said, basically summing up the events of what had happened.

Jason tilted his head a bit and hit the inside of his cheek, realizing that it sounded so much worse when summed up like that.

"Uh-huh..."

"Yeah, she gonna hate you forever." Deacon told him, pouring himself a glass of sweet tea.

"Yeah..."

Elizabeth slapped her husband in the arm, "Really?"

"What?! It's true!" He defended.

Before she had a chance to chastise him, the doorbell rang and Jason instantly sprang up to go answer the door. Upon opening it, he saw his beautiful girlfriend looking even more beautiful than he thought possible.

"Hey." He greeted.

"Hey." Tori greeted back.

"You look amazing..." Jason told her.

"Thanks." She said.

"Hi, I'm Elizabeth, it's so nice to finally meet you!" Elizabeth popped out from behind her son and introduced herself.

Jason groaned, his head pointing down to the floor. Meanwhile, Tori was doing her best impression of a dear in headlights.

"Oh... my God... Y-Y-You're... Y-You... You're Elizabeth Riley..." Tori muttered in absolute shock.

"You know my mom?" Jason asked.

"Know her? I love her! I've seen all of her shows and movies!" Tori exclaimed.

"Aww, it's that's so sweet!" Elizabeth said.

"Wait, so that means your dad is--"

"Right here. Hi." Deacon greeted, extending his hand towards the girl.

"Deacon Riley..." Tori finished, shaking the hand of her boyfriend's father, who just so happened to be another actor that she deeply admired.

"As much as I appreciate a fan, I would also like us moving this conversation inside so we could stop air conditioning the neighborhood." He said, motioning for them all towards the living room.

Following his wishes, they all moved towards the living room.

"You guys sit down and talk while I go finish up dinner. Tori, how do you like your steak?" Elizabeth asked.

"Oh, I'm good with anything." She replied.

Elizabeth stared at Tori with a raised eyebrow.

"Medium rare..." She whispered shyly.

Elizabeth nodded her head in satisfaction before walking towards the kitchen. Jason and Tori sat down next to each other on the couch while Deacon sat in his recliner.

"So, I couldn't help but notice by your slack jawed gaze back there that you're a fan?" Deacon asked, teasing the poor girl.

"Yeah..." She said, her cheeks glowing red with embarrassment.

"Ah, don't be too embarrassed. I'm honestly surprised anyone recognizes us anymore." Deacon told her.

"Are you kidding? I love Paranormal!" Tori said. "Me and my sister used to binge it all night when we were kids."

"Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. I have a lot of fond memories working there." He said.

"How come you never told me that your parents are Deacon and Elizabeth Riley?" Tori asked her boyfriend.

"It never really came up. Besides, to me, they're just mom and dad. I tend to forget that they were these big movie stars." Jason told her.

"Well, your mother was more of a movie star than I was. I was mainly known more for my amazing roles in TV shows." Deacon corrected, his face full of pride.

"Mhm, didn't you die in like the fourth episode you appeared in?" Jason asked with a blank face.

"...I came back..."

-----------------------------------------

Tori, Jason and Deacon were all chatting in the living room, happily listening as Deacon told stories about his acting days before being called in for dinner. Walking into the dining room, Tori saw that the table was set with all of their plates packed with food.

"Wow, this all looks amazing, Mrs. Riley." Tori told her.

"Thank you, sweetie." She replied, smiling at the girl.

They all sat at the table, with Tori and Jason sitting on one side of the table and Deacon and Elizabeth sitting on the opposite side.

"So, I couldn't help but hear you asking questions about my husband and his career..." Elizabeth said, her voice a little teasing.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to pry--"

"Oh, no, it's perfectly fine, dear. I'm sure Deacon loved reliving his glory days." Said Elizabeth.

"Glory days?" Deacon questioned. "My days are still plenty glorious, thank you very much."

Jason and Tori laughed whilst Elizabeth playfully rolled her eyes.

"But I want to hear about you." Elizabeth said to Tori.

"Oh, okay, what do you want to know?" Tori asked.

"Well, what are you hoping to do in the future? I'm guessing something to do with the performing arts since you going to the same school." Said Elizabeth.

"Yeah, I'm hoping to be a really successful singer." Tori replied.

"We saw you sing at the Big Showcase, you were terrific." Deacon told her.

"Yes, you were so great." Elizabeth added.

"Thank you! That means a lot." She thanked the two.

"So, how'd you end up with this Grinch." Deacon asked, pointing his fork over towards his son.

"Thanks, dad. Really feeling the fatherly pride." Jason said, his tone just leaking sarcasm.

"I'm just sayin' that you're not the most approachable person.... Like a certain greened haired Chewbacca..." Deacon muttered under his breath, which earned him a slap on the arm by his wife.

"Both of you, enough with the sarcasm and sly comments. We have a guest." Elizabeth chastised the father-son duo, motioning towards Tori.

"Yes, dear." Deacon said.

"Sorry, mom." Jason told her.

"Good. Now, Jason, stop being a Grinch and let your girlfriend answer the question." She said, quickly taking a bite of her mac and cheese.

Jason closed his eyes and let out a deep sigh.

"Do not.. commit... Parricide... Mexico is too hot of a place... for you to live..." Jason muttered to himself, getting smirks from his parents.

Tori laughed at the three. It was obvious to her that they all had a very close relationship. It was refreshing to see such a tightly knit family. Barring Trina, Tori never really had that type of relationship with anyone in her family, and even Trina was difficult to deal with sometimes. Don't get her wrong, she loved her family, but she wishes that they could be like this sometimes.

"So, how did you two end up together?" Deacon asked her again.

"Well, when we first met, I thought he was really handsome." Tori began, getting a smirk from her boyfriend beside her.

"Extremely handsome you say?" He asked, resting his head against his palm as he watched his girlfriend tell her story.

"I said "REALLY," not extremely." Tori corrected him.

"It's not what I heard." He said.

Rolling her eyes, Tori continued. "He started going over to my house a lot since André was partnered with my sister in the Showcase and Jason was his ride. We started talking and I realized that he was actually pretty funny too."

Jason gave a smug look to his dad, who responded by making a face.

"Cut to my first day, it was a total disaster." Tori said.

"Disaster?" Deacon asked.

"What happened?" Asked Elizabeth.

"Jade." Jason answered simply, making his parents let out an audible "oh" when they heard the name.

"I honestly almost quit that day..." Tori said.

"Was whatever she did really that bad?" Deacon asked.

"She made me act like a dog and then dumped iced coffee in my hair." Tori told him.

"Yeah, never mind, it was definitely that bad..." Deacon muttered.

"So, since you're still going to Hollywood Arts, what changed your mind?" Elizabeth asked.

Tori looked over at Jason and grabbed hold of his hand. "He did."

"After she dumped coffee in my hair, I ran out of class and was about to call my mom to pick me up when he came out to check on me." Tori said. "He managed to make me second guess my decision to quit."

"Really? What did he say?" Deacon asked, curious as to how his son of all people managed to convince her of that.

Don't get him wrong, his loves his son with every fiber of his being, but he knows that Jason isn't exactly the best person to go to when you're going through something and need a pep talk.

"Well, first he said that my hair looked cute with coffee in it." Tori answered, causing Elizabeth to groan and Deacon to laugh. "But then he said, "I can't say that it'll be boring without you here, but it'll definitely be a lot better if you stayed."

Tori smiled at Jason and held onto his hand a little bit tighter. "Looking back on it, I probably fell for him right then and there..."

Elizabeth saw the way they were looking at each other and looked towards her husband, who gave her a knowing smile. She knew that Jason had it bad for this girl, which was why she was so worried about him getting hurt, but now she knew that Tori had it just as bad as her son.

-----------------------------------------

After their pleasant evening with his family, Jason and Tori had gone up to his room, sitting down together on his bed as they waited for some show to start on his laptop.

"So you and Trina buried the hatchet?" Jason asked.

"Mhm, you won't have to worry about her anymore." She told him. "Although, she did say that she was going to go after Beck twice as hard now..."

Jason's eyes widened in shock before he put both of his hands together and started to pray.

"Oh, Lord, may you take Beck into your loving embrace. He and his hair will always be remembered in my heart."

"He isn't dead!" Tori exclaimed, laughing at her boyfriend's antics.

"No, but he's gonna wish he was..."

Tori laughed before suddenly hearing audio play from Jason's laptop.

"Shh, it's starting!" She shushed him as she suddenly grew very excited.

Jason shook his head and turned his gaze towards the laptop, seeing two girls. One girl was a brunette, and the other was blonde. The two girls introduced themselves as they always did, switching off on dialogue whenever the other stopped talking.

[What's up, guys! I'm Carly!] Said the brunette, Carly.

[And I'm Sam!] The blonde, Sam, said.

[And this is iCarly!!!] They both exclaimed, the blonde hitting a button on the remote and a sound effect of applause started to play.

[Carly: Okay, so Thursday afternoon.]

[Sam: Me and Carly were walking through the lobby...]

[Carly: Minding our own business...]

[Sam: While Lewbert was sitting at his desk eating falafels.]

Carly and Sam both went close to the camera, looking over their shoulders and checking if the coast was clear before lowering their voices to a loud whisper.

[Carly: A spherical Middle Eastern Food made from the... chickpea.]

[Sam: chickpea.]

"Who's Lewbert?" Jason asked.

"Oh, it's their doorman. He's grouchy and has a gigantic wart on his face." Tori said, making a big circle with both of her hands and putting it on he face.

Jason furrowed his eyebrows and nodded, looking back towards the screen and seeing that the girls had gone back to their usual demeanor.

[Sam: And now, we're gonna show you what Lewbert did.]

[Carly: Thanks to Freddie's hidden cameras.]

The screen switched to a recording from Thursday. It showed Carly and Sam walking into the apartment building singing some song that Jason didn't recognize and dancing a bit as they walked.

Apparently the doorman didn't like that very much.

[Recording Lewbert: HEY! NO SONG SINGING IN MY LOBBY!]

"Christ, that's a big wart." Jason said as he looked closer at the screen.

The camera angle from the recording was a decent bit away, but he could still see the wart clear as day on the man's face.

"Uh-huh." Tori replied, nodding her head.

[Recording Carly: What's your problem?]

[Recording Lewbert: YOU!]

Lewbert then proceeded to throw the falafel balls he was eating at the two girls, making them scream and try to block the incoming food balls.

"That doorman don't give a fuck." Jason laughed.

Tori laughed alongside him, even though she didn't find them getting pelted with falafel funny, her boyfriend's laughter was infectious to her.

[Carly: He pelted us with falafel balls!]

[Sam: Which is why we decided it's time for another installment of...]

[Both: MESSIN' WITH LEWBERT!]

As they screamed out the name of the segment, the same words started to pop up on screen.

[Carly: So after school today...]

[Sam: Me, Carly, and Fred-pus snuck into Lewbert's office...]

[Carly: And installed two more hidden cameras.]

Carly then pulled out her phone and started to dial a number.

[Sam: And left Lewbert a little surprise.]

[Carly: Which we're gonna give him right now.]

Carly put the phone up to her ear and the video switched to a live feed of Lewbert down in the lobby, who picked up the phone.

[Lewbert: Bushwell Plaza.]

Carly made her voice go down a few pitches, making it sound as if she was a man.

[Carly: Don't go into your office.]

[Lewbert: What? Who is this?]

Carly handed off the phone to Sam, who did the same thing to her voice as Carly did.

[Sam: And do not open the cabinet over the TV.]

[Lewbert: Don't open the-- NOBODY TELLS ME WHAT CABINETS NOT TO OPEN!]

Lewbert immediately hung up the phone and speeded into his office. The feed switched over to the other hidden camera that was in his office and they saw that Lewbert was picking up a stepladder.

[Lewbert: I don't take orders from no unanimous caller!]

"Does he mean--"

"Yeah, pretty sure." Tori interrupted, answering his question before he could even finish it.

[Lewbert: I'll open any cabinet I feel like!]

Lewbert placed the stepladder under the cabinet and proceeded to climb up and open the said cabinet. Once he did, a ridiculous amount of golf balls proceeded to fall out of the cabinet, making Lewbert lose his footing and fall on the floor.

Tori and Jason laughed as they watched the grown man flail around on the floor and scream at the top of his lungs.

[Carly and Sam: IT'S IN THE HOLE!!!]

The couple continued to watch, laughing at the multiple segments that the web show had to offer.

"She's really pretty, right?" Tori asked suddenly, her face all smug.

"Eh, I guess, but there's this one girl I know that she can't come close to." Jason said as he stared at his girlfriend.

"Oh really?" Tori asked playfully. "And what is she like?"

"Well, she's sweet. She's funny. She's an amazing singer." Jason listed off, making Tori's smile grow bigger and bigger. "And she's so beautiful that she probably makes angels feel insecure."

Unable to say just how his words made her feel, Tori decided to show him instead by pulling him into a kiss. Smiling, Jason responded in kind by brushing his tongue against her lips. Feeling it, Tori happily opened her mouth and the two began making out on the bed.

Feeling the heat of their kiss growing, Jason was hesitant to push her any further until he felt Tori shift her weight around before climbing onto his lap and straddling him. The final bit of hesitation he had was now gone as he slowly placed his hands underneath Tori's shirt and proceeded to run his hands along her body, making her moan into his mouth.

As Jason moved his hands higher up her body, a knock on his door sent the couple scrambling off of each other.

"Hey, your mom is asking if--"

Jason's father walked in the room and saw the two looking at him with apt attention, almost as if they had just been caught doing something they shouldn't have.

"You are so lucky that it wasn't your mother that walked in here." Deacon smirked.

Tori blushed like a tomato and Jason just groaned at his father.

"What do you want?" He asked.

"Ice staff." His father replied.

"Sure." Jason said.

"For the next ten games." He added.

"Oh, you've got to be kidding." Jason told him.

"Honey--"

"ALRIGHT! Deal! Deal!" Jason said quickly, trying to get his father to call off the dogs.

"Tori would love to take home some leftovers!" Deacon's yelled out, looking at his son with a shit eating grin.

"Okay!" Elizabeth yelled back.

Jason glared at his father, who gave him a one-handed salute as a farewell before leaving his room and closing the door.

"Oh, my God..." Tori muttered, her face in her as she was embarrassed to high heaven.

"No good, greedy, opportunistic son of a--"

-----------------------------------------

"It was so good to finally meet you." Elizabeth said as she gave Tori a hug.

"It was great meeting you too." Tori responded in kind.

Everyone was seeing Tori off as Trina had pulled up in front to pick up her sister. Deacon stepped up and gave the girl a hug goodbye as well.

"Drive safe." He said.

"We will." Tori told him.

After his father, Jason walked up to his girlfriend and gave her a tight hug.

"I'm glad you came." He told her.

"I am too." She said.

Pulling away, Jason gave her a peck on the lips and watched as she got into Trina's car and drive off.

"She's a good girl." Elizabeth said.

"Yeah, I like her. She's almost as dorky as you are." Deacon said to his son.

Jason rolled his eyes, giving his dad a piercing glare before heading upstairs to take a really cold shower. He really needs to start using the lock on his door if Tori was going to come over more often...
