Chapter 35 - Dou and Sei Ki

"Young man, tell the truth…what method did you do to accomplish this?" Hayato could see his Ki was in complete unison both in SEI and DOU. He was someone who many martial artists dream of achieving. Even himself only had a variation of Ki called Ga.

Haruto nodded knowing hiding it wouldn't even be good against someone like the elder who can see through him and someone who dislikes lying. He took out from his back the [ Hercules Methods ] where they were confused and Hayato took the methods and everyone looked only to be confused.

"Wait, did you really just use this and result in this?" Sakaki remarked that most of the principals looked for basic and widespread knowledge. Akisame however had different opinions seeing that the text might have given Haruto ideas that resulted in the sudden growth.

"Perhaps it was just his interpretation that resulted in this change." Akisame commented while Kansei rubbed his chin.

"Indeed, most martial artists not only improve from continuous training but also from learning from other things." Kansei Ma commented while Apachai wasn't even listening and started playing Othello with Shigure.

"Hmmm. Here, if it helps you grow then there's nothing to worry about." Hayato said as Haruto and Kenichi continued their day Training with the master seeing a better result in Haruto and had improved exponentially.

He commanded his body like it was nothing, pushing its utmost limits without much issue. He hasn't shown them his new form and decided to stay that way until he is able to have a better understanding of it.

'This is too strange….has he truly learned this through that method?' Akisame questions the illogical change happening in Haruto. He knew there was something more to it than simply drawing inspiration from the method.

"Haruto-kun, I want to speak with you about something." Hayato called out to him taking a break from training and was going to receive some teaching from the elder.

"What is it, Elder?" Haruto wondered what it could be that he wanted from him. The elder took a sip of his cup taking a moment to answer.

"Normally, it would take some time until I discuss this with someone who is learning Martial arts. But I think you're ready, listen carefully, there are roughly two categories for martial artists." Hayato was explaining Ki to him while the other Grandmasters were also listening.

Ki is a power for a Martial Artist and the Willpower of the user. It is used by martial Artist Fighters. Every person who trains in Martial Artist is able to use ki in fights. The users of this technique can drastically increase their attack and defense power to inhuman levels with proper training and control.

The user of this technique must know the type of Ki that they have, either Sei or Dou Ki. Some fighters can even use both types at the same time, achieving the ability using what's called Dual Ki.

A Sei-type martial artist hides his intention to fight, instead focusing on sensing his/her environment, then releases it quickly in response to danger. According to the elder, it actually means that this type of martial artist fights not with power or anger, but with talent, skills, and wit. This principle requires a state of calmness and a clarity of mind.

A Dou type martial artist uses his/her anger to exceed his/her limits. As such, they tend to be aggressive in combat, and very rarely strays from the offensive. Users seem to rely heavily on instincts and brute strength when fighting. Dou fighters have a technique for reading the opponent's movements which relies on exciting themselves. A Dou fighter focuses on making their ki "explode" after channeling it through a target to deal damage.

Dual Ki is as the name suggests, able to use both but it's extremely dangerous and not recommended. There are various levels of Ki usage, but the three main stages of use are:

Ki no Hatsudō, better known as the "Invoking" of Ki: which allows the user to channel their Ki inward into their techniques and attacks. Most disciples of all levels, Low, Middle, and High are capable of reaching this stage.

Ki no Kaihō, better known as the "Release" of Ki: which allows the user to release their Ki outward from their bodies and use it in various ways against their opponents. The only disciple leveled fighters capable of reaching this stage are High Class Disciples. The Experts and all of the Master Class levels have achieved practically endless uses of this stage of Ki control.

Ki no Shōaku, better known as the "Holding" of Ki: which allows the user to not only release but freely control their Ki in and out of their bodies, even able to pull in and redirect the Ki of other people. All of the master class levels can perform this stage of Ki control, but the only ones who have mastered this stage completely are the fighters who have come to be known as Legendary Masters.

"Then what would I be categorized by?" Haruto is unsure how he uses martial arts since he is both aggressive but also passive. Hayato stroked his beard and shook his head.

"You are an anomaly even for me. Someone who successfully displays both without any problem. It is as if you have complete mastery over your body and mind even though you started roughly two months of training." Hayato said believing that within a year or two Haruto can truly surpass him.

He took years to even reach the level that Haruto currently resides. It's even a debate to say that Haruto is The Strongest Disciple that will ever exist.

"Anyway, I told you this because you're growing at an alarming rate and hope you won't do anything that could risk your future in the pursuit of power." He said remembering people who were like him before turning into the Asura path.

"I will not let it come to that but the day it ever happened, I hoped everyone would stop me." Haruto said afraid of losing himself because the [ Hercules Methods ] was specifically made for murder and didn't want to lose his morals and distance himself from his family.

"I hope the day never comes. Anyway, I won't waste anymore of your time." The elder said as Haruto nodded and continued training. Meanwhile, Niijima went to find Haruto and headed straight away to Ryozanpaku Dojo to meet Haruto and also collect information about the martial arts teacher of Haruto. Standing in front of the dojo gate Hai tried to open it but couldn't push the door but it opened suddenly from the inside

"kik, iyaaa." shouted a scared Niijima as the door opened on its own but saw a woman standing on the door.

'A really attractive woman, maybe that's the reason Haruto started living here.' Nijima thought

"I am Haruto's friend." He said

"Come in" Shigure said as she put her Katana on her back.

"Waaa, Thank you." Niijima said.

'A real Katana!? traditional dress!? A rat!? and people call me weird' Nijima was surprised to see her.

'But still this place is really old style' Niijima thought while walking inside the dojo and as he was looking around himself he didn't pay attention in front where a 7 feet tall man was standing crashing on to him.

"Ahh! who has kept this pole in between the road" Niijima said while massaging his head to look at the thing he crashed into.

"Hii! I am Apachai" Apachai said.

"Aaaahhhhhh!" Niijima screamed as he started to run towards the gate of the Dojo but before he could get out of there Shigure came in front of him standing upside down on the roof and said while pointing in a direction.

"It's the wrong way, that's the way.".

"Kyaaa.." Niijima shouted seeing her standing upside down like that and ran away from there.

But just as he got away from there he saw Sakaki breaking wooden poles with a circular width of his waist.

"Eeek it's a ghost!" Niijima shouted and ran from there.

Then he saw Akisame making statue's and ran away shouting

"Yokai." But he again crashed with Apachai and got backed away in a wall where he got surrounded by everyone in the Ryozanpaku Dojo.

'Yokai! all of them are Yokai' Niijima thought

"Huh! Haruo what are you doing here!?" came a voice from the side where Haruto was standing.

"Aaaahhh... Haruto! Help me, they want to eat me, save me dammit." Niijima said as he ran behind Haruto.

"*sigh* Who asked you to come here then. I am sorry master's but please distance yourself from him. This guy is really scared of you" Haruto said with the second half of the speech directed towards the Ryozanpaku members.

Hearing Harutoi's words everyone went away from there leaving Haruo alone with Haruto.

"Waah!! Haruto you have already subdued so many strong people already!" Niijima said.

"Waah!! Haruto you have already subdued so many strong people already!" Niijima said.

"SHUT-UP, they are my master's you idiot." Haruto said and went away from there as well.

The next few days Niijima was telling Haruto all the information he had gathered on Hermit which though Haruto already knew but couldn't tell him about it. As they entered the class both of them saw a handsome blonde guy talking to Miu whom Haruto identified as Natsu Tanimoto a.k.a Hermit.

Nijima explained information about him and Haruto shrugged it off seeing that Miu would be happy in the play. She seemed excited and looked at Natsu Tanimoto who saw him immediately introduce himself with his fake personality. He disliked seeing someone lie and make themselves fit in.

Miu had been practicing hard for the play and Lala was helping in her acting because she thought it was fun. Haruto was happy seeing the two as his training became even worse than before because his strength had grown more than he liked.

"F*CK." At that moment Haruto cursed as he went out of the practice room and went to meet Miu who was doing last minute practice.

"Oh! Haruto what happened!?" Miu asked when she saw Haruto walking weirdly

"Nothing much Miu, it's just Master Akisame has increased the weights of my restraints, that's all." Haruto replied that having a master over his body doesn't mean he can't feel them.

"OH, so that's why you are walking like that!" Miu said.

"Yeah, but let's forget about me for a minute. How is your practice going on? Are you nervous about going up on stage tomorrow?" Haruto asked.

"There's that but..... to tell you the truth.... all the members of the drama club said that their families would come and watch the play.....But me .... grandfather left for the south again 2, 3 days ago.... I was worried that it would might be like the parent Visitations day in elementary school when I was the only kid alone...." Miu said a bit sad that Hayato had gone somewhere and Haruto frowned seeing her like this. It made him annoyed and angry seeing her sad and lonely.

"You have me." Haruto said without hesitation not knowing the implication of his words

"huh!?" Miu exclaimed and blushed a bit looking at Haruto who looked even more handsome with his blindfold.

"And Lala we will be there cheering for you tomorrow with more than a dozen family members." Haruto said having Rito, Mikan, Kenichi and Kenichi's Family. His parents won't be able to come since they're busy.

"Oh dear! Thank you so much. But you can't cheer in the middle of the play" Miu said

"Yeah don't worry about that... ah! I almost forgot to tell you that Mikan and Rito will also come along with Kenichi's family to watch your play and cheer for you." Haruto said where Miu was surprised that he would do something like this for her.

On the rooftop Sakaki was lying down as he heard the conversation between Miu and Haruto and told all of it to the rest of the members of Ryozanpaku.

"That's it.. personally I don't give a damn but I thought you all should know" Sakaki said

"hmm... so that's what Miu was thinking." Akisame said.

"That old man always has rotten timing!" Apachai said

Shigure also nodded her head while her mouse Tochumaru was also doing the same.

"Full of Highschool girls.... wait, no, I feel sorry for Miu" Kensei Ma said.

"Can't help it then, we would have to jump in." Akisame said as he closed the book he was reading. Meanwhile, Hayato was heading somewhere in the forest at unbelievable speed when he stopped at his track for a moment sensing someone strong.

A person moved from the trees and what came out was an extremely well-built man standing about 6'3" and weighing about 265 pounds (190 cm and 120 kg). His neck is exceptionally thick even compared to the rest of the fighters , and his legs are extensionally long. He has red wavy hair, thick black eyebrows, and red eyes.

"It's nice to see you again, old man." His deep and brought voice can instill fear in the hearts of weak willed men. He exude profound power and terrifying intimidation.

"Ogre." Hayato said, looking at the man who is known as the strongest creature on the planet and one of the Legendary Masters, Yujiro Hanma. His hair stood up and prepared for battle as Hayato sighed doing the same thing.

"I have no time for this…" He said releasing his Ki as the two initiate a fight that would result in the destruction of the whole forest from their clash alone.
