Elena walked out of the hotel into the night, her steps measured and steady as she navigated the bustling streets. The cool night air wrapped around her, unlike that to the suffocating atmosphere she had left behind at the Harrington household.
She had eaten well at the Harrington household, but her body still felt weak—fragile in a way that was unfamiliar. She needed to strengthen herself, and a good meal would do more than just satisfy her hunger.
