Elephant-minded Karma
Eric didn't have any clear idea of what was the level of the dragons that were trying to kill him… and well, that wasn't a good omen.
If reading comics, books, and similar taught him something was that the precise moment something bad was improbable to happen, it would definitely happen.
Take for example every second-rate villain, mindlessly walking through life, minding his own business while spreading blood and hate.
Then, one Monday as another, just before stealing the umpteenth girl from a weak good citizen, or destroying a planet their karma came bashing their head from behind their backs.
Karma could appear in the shape of a bespectacled nerd wearing tights and transforming into a superhero, a solitary swordmaster tired of someone courting death, or a supermonkey with a power level over nine thousand…
*One thing is sure… karma is a bitch! *
That was infact Eric's first thought the moment he saw the surprise party Tiamat created for him.
