Everyone present, apart from Rubra, Nemesis included, were scared out of their wits seeing that natural disaster, with the man they knew and cared for as its nucleus.
In the dream, they had lived something similar, but never to this degree of amplitude and strength.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, in Rubra's mind, before anything else, even her own safety, at this moment were the scary words she heard.
What she feared the most was Eric taking any rash action.
In the most unexpected way and time, a defeated opponent could destabilize Eric's mind only with his words.
Rubra couldn't understand because she knew Eric had everything but a positive opinion regarding the nefarious messenger.
