They want us dead

When Fifth Elder turned he saw neither baby nor Ryan "huh? where's Leader?" He asked. First Elder turned his head to the other side "over there." The both of them quickly followed them. Baby entered the building, he just looked around and walked towards the elevator.

Fifth Elder "leader that's the way to the general elevator." Baby glanced back at him, "I'm not blind, I can see." Ryan rolled his eyes, I'm not blind, I can see. He mimicked In his mind, everyone knows that you don't take the general elevator of course he has remind you. A ding! sound was heard and the elevator opened. A girl rushed out and bumped into baby. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." She said in a rush facing down. She bent down to pick what fell on the floor, baby also bent down and helped her. Ryan rolled his eyes for the second time. "Thanks." The girl said and looked at the person that helped her. She gasped and staggered back almost falling in the process. Baby quickly held her, "be careful." He said. The girl quickly removed her hand "leader!" She said fear written on her face. Baby frowned and nodded why does she look like she just saw a ghost, am I that scary? Baby looked at the elevator door which already closed and looked at the girl "why are you still standing there? You can go." The girl nodded and fled. Ryan stood besides him and said "boss, aren't you a little weird today." Baby raised his brows "weird? I've decided to change and be a good leader that they won't be scared of. Take a look at that girl she looked as if she saw a ghost when she saw me." Ryan replied "pei, I guess she would have preferred to run into a ghost than to run into you. Moreover you trying to be nice with that mask on is even more scary."

Although, they were talking in a very low tone First Elder and Fifth Elder could still hear what they were saying. Fifth Elder turned to First Elder and whispered "could it be that we have offended leader?" First Elder shook his head "I don't think so."

Baby scoffed and turned towards the elevator he uses normally. "All the Elders should be in the conference room in 30 minutes." He said and entered the elevator.

"Ryan, what do you think about those Elders?" Baby asked. "I really don't know what to think, Third Elder thinks you're too young and not capable to be in this position. Second Elder is getting more ambitious, Fourth Elder is expanding his business in different countries and the remaining two are neutral but they all have one thing in common." Baby smiled, "what?" "They want us dead." Ryan replied and laughed. Baby joined him in his laughter "if I were in their position I'd also want us dead. I mean two little brat just took over the position they've been eyeing. They aren't making a move yet because they are saving godfather's face."

"They all have one more thing in common, they fear you." Ryan said.

Baby nodded in agreement "what about you, do you fear me?" Ryan's lips spasmed "fear you heh. But I'm still trying to solve a puzzle, how did your martial arts skills increase to the point that I can't exchange up fifteen moves with you? Godfather taught you secretly and told you not to tell me right?"

Baby said "how many times will I tell you that he didn't teach me any skill? You spied on me many times but still got nothing right?"

Ryan looked skeptical, "how do you expect me to believe that? Your martial arts improved by playing chess, fishing and doing minor body strengthening exercises."

Baby "he didn't teach me any of his skills because he said only those with the purest heart can master it, if I try to I'd only hurt me."

Ryan "I thought he always boosted about how he already found someone too pass his skills to. he was like Dana is my successor, he has the kindest and purest heart. so what happened?"

baby just smiled "he has the purest heart when he hasn't seen the cruelty of the world, when he didn't have the intention to kill."

Ryan frowned and sighed, I actually wish he could go back to being the innocent, kind, pure Dana.

baby glanced at his wrist watch "it's time, let's head to the conference room before Third Elder find another fault in me."

Baby sat on the power seat and Ryan sat next to him. He removed his mask and gave Third Elder a cold gaze. Third Elder maintained eyes contact but looked away few seconds later. This mentally unstable kid what is he thinking about this time around?. Shouldn't he be on his way to the meeting he has today? Baby smirked and threw a dart in the direction of Second Elder. Second Elder bent his head and the dart struck the wall. "You.. you.." Second Elder said but couldn't find something to say. Baby sighed looking disappointed "it's a miss" Ryan just removed his mask and placed it on the table. Baby cleared his throat his aura changing immediately "don't you think I deserve an explanation?" He said every word sending chills down their spine. Third Elder just smiled and tapped his fingers on the table at interval. Fools, do they think that he won't find out because he's always away from the gang. The room was silent the only sound that could be heard was that of Third Elder's tapping. Baby shot him a cold glare which made him stop his actions immediately. "Why did you cut the supplies of the female branch?" Second Elder gulped and said "we didn't cut it off, it was just delayed."

Baby's eyes glinted "oh? It was delayed for more than three weeks, can you tell me the reason for the delay? No enough money? They aren't productive?" Ryan leaned towards him and whispered in his ear "boss, you're asking too many questions. Go straight to the point."

"Do what you are supposed to do before the end of today, I must not hear any complaints from their branch. Third Elder see me in my office." Third Elder spasmed his lips and nodded. baby wore his mask turned around backing them "you can all summarize what ever you want to bring to my notice, remember the word summarize."

Baby crossed his legs on the table as he read the documents in his hand. He heard a knock and said "come in." Third Elder entered and sat opposite baby. "Uncle, how have you been?" Baby asked and sat properly. "Did you come here today just to talk about the delayed supplies of the female branch?" Third Elder asked. "Uncle, have some tea. How is the task I gave you?" Baby said and poured tea for him."

Third Elder drank the tea and said "your guess was right." Baby smirked "Uncle, please enlighten me what should I do?" he asked. "Are you done yet? Why are you calling me uncle? We aren't related. I don't know what Smith was thinking to make you the head of the gang." Third Elder said.

"Maybe it's because I'm cute? What do you think? I used my cuteness to defeat the five Elder of Shadow Of Heaven gang, I used my cuteness to annihilate a gang, I used my cuteness to make you all fear me." Baby replied.

Third Elder "what's the sarcasm for? Because you have such an impressive martial arts doesn't mean you can do as you please. No matter how strong you are, you are still too young for this position. It can only bring you one thing DEATH!!!"

Baby gasped "Uncle I'm scared, you have to protect me I'm just like a son to you." But his expression says otherwise. Third Elder looked at the cup he just drank from and looked at baby.

Baby "I don't have to go to such length to poison you, if I wanted to poison you I had the chance to many times."

Third Elder scoffed and stood up "I already completed the task you gave me, the rest is up to you."

Baby yelled "WAIT!!!". Third Elder froze on his spot and glaced back. "Take care." Baby added and winked at him. Third Elder felt the urge to discipline this brat but left the office in rage.
