"Why did you agree?" Zephyr asked with an annoyed expression.
Delilah smiled at him. She was happy that he trusted her enough to be himself around her and express his feelings.
"She is my cousin, Zephyr. If I disagree with her, they are more likely to take me back to the pack. She expressed how I should go back either way. Also, I am trying to unravel the truth about something," Delilah said, deep in thought.
Zephyr wanted to tell her no one could take her away from him. He wouldn't allow it, but he stopped when she mentioned the second reason.
"Truth?" he asked, wanting to hear the details of the matter. Delilah nodded.
"Something is wrong. It's strange how I remember almost every single detail of my life after my childhood but can't seem to remember the night of my suicide. Something is fishy. Whenever I try to remember it, my head hurts, and it's not my bodily reaction. Something happened that night, and recently…" Delilah paused.
