Chapter 7: Off to Go

Today is Thursday of the Evening as I told my aunt about me leaving the house, she panicked because she didn't expect that I would leave her, she asks me if she did something wrong or is she too strict. I told her about the letter i received last Tuesday. I told her that I was accepted to Vampire University.

At first, she was thought I was joking, but then when explain to her and I let her see the University uniform, she asked me if I'm gonna wear the THINGS. She was laughing because she knew that I would never wear things Like THAT. But in the end, she was crying not because she is sad but because she is proud of me if my father still alive he will be proud too.

"Did you pack everything you need?" Aunt ask me when she entered the room. I just nod and then look at the University Uniform that is being hanged. "I know that you want to be in the Frostbite University, just think about this you have given an opportunity to be a Student Of Vampire University." She hugged me, and then tap my back.

"Okay enough with the drama, You need to sleep early so that you'll wake up on time. You have a big tomorrow." Aunt leave me.

As Aunt told me I need to accept the fact that I will never be a Frostbite Student and I tried to imagine me being a Vampire student, What is the life that is waiting for me at the Vampire University. As I imagine things I slowly feel sleepy.

"Hey Kainah, wake up." A sweet voice is calling me. "Hey, Kainah, Wake up." I slowly opened my eyes and it's still blurry because it's adjusting to the light coming from the window. "You need to prepare, someone is on the door waiting for you."

Immediately get up and sit in my bed. "Did you rent a car Aunt?" I ask while rubbing my eyes. I'm still sleepy. "No, I did not, I was shocked when someone knocks on the door at exactly 6 am." I looked at the clock, Holy Molly it's 6:32 Am. "Didn't you wake me up at exactly 6 Am?" I get my towel.

"I did but who would disturb such a baby sleeping peacefully? and besides, I tried to let the driver seat at the Couch but he wouldn't move an inch to where he is standing." Aunt explained. "You should hurry there, and the breakfast is ready too." she left me while I am doing my best to finish in just 5 minutes. wait why would I have a driver? when Alfonso gave me Biglietti. Maybe he got the wrong address or something.

As I finish my Shower, immediately wear the transferee uniform and then, grab my 2 Bagaglio and then head to the kitchen, as I walk aunty look at me with a teary eye. "Aw, look at you wearing that." she hugged me. "I'm super proud of you Kainah." she said and then look at me in the eyes. "But don't forget to write letters for me okay?

I just nod. "Wait ill just go see the driver, the sun is rising." ill leave my aunt and then head to our front door. It must be hot in there staying and not even moving an inch.

As I opened the door, I see him he is on the left side and then standing there like it's nothing. When he saw me he immediately walks here, when he arrived.

He bowed to me and then, "Mia signora, buongiorno, dov'è il tuo bagaglio?" He asks me but I didn't understand him. "Umm, pardon? I can't understand a thing, can you speak in English?" I ask him.

"Mia signora, dovresti indossare il tuo distintivo per essere in grado di capirmi."

I didn't still understand a thing he says, I am sure that this guy got the wrong address- "He said is 'My lady, you should wear your badge to be able to understand me.' that's what he said. pardon me for being rude My lady." he bowed to me as well.

"My lady before I can introduce myself, you should get your badge for you to understand, because I only memorize the English part of what we mostly say."

I was left speechless, I look at them again and they are still in their position. I immediately run and passed Aunt, "See they won't talk to me, wait what's the matter? Why are you running?"

"NEED TO GET MY BADGE I FORGOT TO WEAR IT." when I got back to my room and then find the badge. Where did I put that badge? Ugh. I looked under the bed and the closet and my study table. where could it be?

I look around and when I look at the window somethings lights up that caught my eyes. I walk towards it, ad guess what? I made a mess in my room just to find a badge and in the end, it was in there laying around. I took it and walk and then arrive at the kitchen."Oh, when you're looking at your Badge I put it in the window because I was cleaning your desk last night. After all, it was full of dust.

I didn't react. After all, I was holding myself not to talk back because I was slightly mad, but still, I love my aunty so that's why I'm holding back. I arrive at the front door and then wear my Badge, okay this will do. I walk out and then see then still bowing.

"Hey you guys, don't need to bow, its okay." they look at me. "My lady, I will ask again, where are you luggage" As I heard them talk, it slowly understanding the. "I'll give it to you later I need to eat breakfast. And please come with me and seat while you wait for me. "Yes my lady." we started to walk and then enter the house.

"My lady, my name is Sebas, and this is Franco our driver today," he said that as we finally arrive at the Living room. "You 2 have a seat and ill eat and then we can go." and they seat. "Si, Mia signora"

"What are they talking about?" Aunt asks. "Don't ask HAHA, I still don't understand them." I lied, I remember in the letter that Alfonso gave me yesterday, that aunt will still forget about them when we leave. So aunt won't need to know about them. I ate fast and then get my Luggage and then head to the living room.

When they saw me with my luggage they immediately go to me and then get them in my hands. "My lady, you should have called as to helo you with these," Sebas said.

I just nod and then walk to get outside, I was helping Franco with the luggage, it still new to me that I have this 'servant' but oh well they will just help me to get in safety in Hatia City.

I looked at the door then saw Aunty looking at me. When our eyes meet she smile. She walks towards me. "I guess this is goodbye?" she asks. "I still can't believe this," she said.

"My lady, we need to go now, or we will arrive late," Sebas told me.

"This is it, aunty, I need to go," I said. "Aunty See you soon." I hugged her for one last time and then turned around.

"take care Kainah." she said.

as I entered the car.

"Off to go, My lady." For once Franco talks to me.
