Chapter 21: Lunch After Snake Fright
“No, in fact everyone was so safe because the shop owner took care of the problem herself. Would you believe it? Crescia can handle a snake. Now, does that means she’s a real witch? I wonder?" Raylene declared.
“Really? She didn’t get bitten at all?” Richard asked in a tone of disbelief.
“No, maybe because she is a snake handler or maybe because she's a witch,” Raylene said as she scanned the parking area around her, just for the sake of safety. She had a habit of being very cautious since she did not like bodyguards. She was responsible for her own safety as she had promised Sir George.
So, she loved disguising herself when she went out.
“I really don’t like bodyguards but in cases like this and on days like this, maybe I should reconsider,” Raylene told herself.
“Well, I’m sitting here in the car opposite a small shopping center. Raven and that blonde girl are sitting inside of a coffee shop, would you know? They’re sitting there having lunch, I suppose?" he asked.
