"And here's my number," Touya mentioned, showing you his phone number, exchanging it on the way, as you walked together through the halls of your dorm floor.
You felt slightly giddy and a bit overwhelmed by the attention you were getting from a fourth year student, a very attractive one especially. He insisted on bringing you back to your dorm—claiming that he just wanted to take a stroll with his new friend.
"Well, here's mine," you responded, typing in your contact information on his phone. You two finally made it in front of your dorm room. "Well, we're here."
"Awe, wanted to spend more time with you," he made a pouty look, grinning haughtily as he leaned his pointy nose near your hair. "...what cologne do you use? It's very strong."
"...oh, umm..." you gulped, feeling your heart beat every second, due to his close proximity. "...It's just a regular shampoo and conditioner, no cologne at all."
"Oh?" He raised a brow as he tilted his head to meet your eyes. You chewed your bottom lip, feeling nervous by the way his ocean blue eyes squinted at you—complementing his pale skin and dark spiky hair.
"Well, your scent is absolutely amazing," he complimented, breathing out a hot breath, with a killer smile.
You laughed nervously. "Uh, thanks? I mean it's kinda weird hearing that, since my roommate said my scent was pretty bad."
"Tch, jokes on him," he scoffed. "He's missing out here."
You shrugged. "...Guess so, I mean I even took a shower last night, but for some reason he hated my smell even more...that he had to wear a mask..." you frowned slightly. "...it's kinda strange."
"...hm, just don't mind him," he murmured. "If he gets meaner, just tell me and I'll beat him up for ya."
"W-What? No, please don't do that," you pleaded slightly. "I don't want any violence here on my account."
"Awe, you're so cute," he murmured, leaning on close to your face, planting a small kiss on your cheek, causing your own face to burn hot at his sudden gesture—leaving you to stand motionless.
"Just call me any time you wanna hang," he offered with a sly smile. "...Especially if you wanna avoid that weirdo."
"...u-um, okay," you replied softly, still quite taken off guard, while looking away from him due to your flushed face. "...I'll let you know."
You quickly made your way in your dorm, peaking out your head slightly to see his gorgeously attractive face one more time. You gave a shy wave with a cheeky smile. "...bye, Touya, good night."
"You too, sweetheart."
——
You inhaled sharply, looking into the mirror with your heart giddy at the memories of Touya—especially the part when he gave you a light kiss on the cheek. You knew you just met, but you already liked him so much. Maybe he was just a playboy—as his sister mentioned—and he treated you like he would for any girl, which did support the fact that he was a heart throbber. The kind that could steal hearts, even at the first meeting.
You continued to brush your teeth, swirled in some water once you were done. You never felt so happy on your first day—despite the whole roommate thing. You got to admit that Touya did make your day all better at the end.
You smiled from ear to ear, wiping off remnants of water off your mouth before you turned to the door. Your eyes popped wide open, quite startled to find Shinsou silently standing at the open door.
Once again, that totally creeped you out—at the fact that he made not a single sound upstairs, or maybe you were too occupied with your own thoughts. Either way, it was getting really creepy.
You curled your brow before averting your eyes away from him since you were still mad at how he embarrassed you in front of class—and even admitted that he hated you, though you said it first.
You pressed your lips together as you looked down and tried to get through the door, but he blocked you. You blinked, completely baffled at his antics. You looked up, brows knitted in annoyance, while he displayed an indifferent demeanour.
"What is wrong with you? Please move," you demanded.
"I'm warning you, don't associate yourself with him."
"Huh?" Your lips parted slightly, looking at him with incredulity—feeling acidity in your tongue at his response. "What do you mean by that?"
He sighed slightly, red lips parting ever-so-slightly. "...just don't associate yourself with Dabi, I promise you, you'll regret it."
"Dabi? Who's Dabi?"
"He's..." he shook his head. "...nevermind, just don't associate yourself with...Touya, I mean."
"Oh?" You angrily placed your hands on each side of your hip. "You're bossing me around now? What am I supposed to do? I literally don't know anyone else!"
"Tch," he snarled. "...Find better friends, it's for your own good."
"You're talking as if that's easy," you retorted. "What? Do you want me to associate myself with you instead?"
"No, I'm saying that you should find other people...who'll be here for the long haul," he spoke carefully, with slight hesitance, as if he was thinking of a good excuse. "... he'll be graduating this year, meaning that once he's gone, you won't have anyone else to be with."
You rolled your eyes with a scoff. "Hey, at least I'll be friends with him before he leaves, or even after that, who knows? Look, I don't know what your past is with him, but I want nothing to do with it, I just want a fresh start...You already ruined my morning, now I even have to deal with you from now on, so just please leave me alone, we'll get along better like that."
He glared slightly, eye twitching at the corner before he closed his eyes and took a sigh, his violet eyes opened blankly once again—ones that filled with irritation, before he turned his head away and strolled into the washroom.
And that was the last you heard from him for the night.
——
The alarm buzzed, you felt quite refreshed from the night's sleep. For some reason, that conversation released some tension in your lungs, but it also somehow gripped a tighter rope on you than ever before. For one, you stated how you do not ever want for him to be a busybody—especially with who you associate with. On the other hand, you felt as though you have grown farther apart from making any efforts on being neutral roommates.
Now, you knew he probably hated you more.
You made a 'tsk' sound as you rolled yourself off bed, realizing that you could not care less about him anymore. After all, all you needed was a bed to sleep in and that was all you were here for. Nothing more, nothing less. Well, except for having the secret pleasure of petting his cat when he was not looking around. Other than that, that's all.
You hopped out of bed, seeing that he was already out of bed as expected. You assumed that he would be in the washroom, taking his own sweet bubble bath, so you resolved not to get in there—not until he was done at least.
You went downstairs, prepared your usual corn ball cereal with almond milk into your bowl. Instead of eating in the kitchen, you decided to sit on one of the couches and began to check your phone simultaneously.
Your lips graced a smile when you found that Touya took the first initiative to message you.
[6:28 am]
[Touya]
Hey, sunshine, u awake alr?
[6:49 am]
[You]

[6:52 am]
[Touya]
Ah, there's my dolly, how's ur sleep? Good dreams?
[6:53 am]
[You]
My sleep was great! Thanks to you! I had another argument with my roommate, but thinking of how nice and friendly you were on my first day made me feel a lot better!
[6:53 am]
[Touya]
gosh ur cute. Wanna eat together?
[6:53 am]
[You]
...wait, right now??
[6:54 am]
[Touya]
Duh, I'll pick you up right now.
[6:55 am]
[You]
Oh ok! I'll get dressed then!
You quickly ate your cereal, drank it dry, while watching Shinsou's grey kitten hopping on the couch beside you. Making those cute meow noises as the kitten snuggled up beside you.
You internally hoped that Shinsou wouldn't be here to see this, but of course, things did not go the way you hoped it would.
You looked up, seeing that he was eyeing at you with a dirty, disgusted look from the top of the staircase, before he made his way down. You quickly shifted yourself to move away from the kitten, but found it futile when the kitten kept moving towards you even more.
You groaned slightly, looking back at Shinsou who was making his way over to you. Before he looked back at the cat, to your surprise, he sat down close to you—with the cat in between.
There was silence, except for the clanging spoon against your bowl, trying your best to scoop up all the remaining cereal within the bowl. You saw him carry his cat and placed it on his lap, stroking her fur ever-so-gently.
"...If you want," he began, earning your fullest attention. "...you could sit with me during lunch instead."
"Ha?" You gaped, quite surprised at his sudden change of words. "Sorry what again?"
He sighed, releasing a cloud of pout—visibly annoyed. "I said you can come and sit with my friends instead."
You scoffed, laughed heftily as you shook your head in disbelief. "Seriously? First you're telling me to basically stay away from Touya, now you're ordering me to come and sit with you? You're unbelievable."
"Tch, I'm trying to be nice to you," He retorted, with acidity in his deep voice. "…since we're living together, isn't that what you want?"
"Yeah, I tried doing that, but all you did was push me away, and embarrassed me on my first day!" You growled, glaring at him, feeling electricity between the two of you.
"Tch," he rolled his eyes. "...Fine, I'll really leave you be then."
"Good, now if you'll excuse me..." you spoke quickly as you stood up from the couch. "I'll be enjoying the rest of my morning with my friend, before I deal with you in class again."
"…" he remained silent, watched your figure leave towards the kitchen, then up to your bedroom.
"...oh, [Last Name]," he sighed with a blank stare, continued to stroke his kitten with his slender, pale fingers. "…you'll really regret this."
——
You got dressed into a nice sweatshirt with jeans before you took your small bag and slung it around your shoulder. You practiced smiling in the mirror, especially since you felt like raging due to your roommate.
Before you made your way out, you sprayed some of your expensive perfume on, to smell at least extra nicer for Touya. You quickly made your way out, wearing your sneakers downstairs—seeing that Shinsou was busy in the kitchen, probably feeding his cat.
You felt a ring on your phone, seeing that the caller ID was none other than Touya himself. You smiled giddily before placing your device near your ear.
"Hey, dolly, I'm here now," he spoke with his soothing, husky voice.
"Ah, hey, Touya, just in time, I'm about to make my way out."
You quickly opened the door, finding that Touya was leaned against the wall across the large beige wall, beside a large window. His spiky black hair swept to the side of his gorgeous face, making your heart throb uncontrollably, especially with the way those gorgeous blue eyes gazed into your own.
He coolly made his way towards you, the light above illuminating on his already pale skin—making it look extra paler, if that was even possible.
"Hey."
"...hey," you greeted with a shy wave, feeling all flustered way too quickly.
"Ready to go?"
You laughed adorably in his eyes. "You're talking as if we're on a date..."
He snickered with a wry grin. "Unless you want it to be."
You rolled your eyes as you punched the side of his shoulder playfully. "Nahh, let's just go, I'm looking forward to getting out of that room."
"Oh? Is it really that bad?"
You shrugged. "Sorta, he's acting really strange, I'll tell you later, thanks for saving me, Princey, but for now, let's go, shall we?"
"Why, of course," he spoke dramatically, yet in a such a sexy, smooth manner, right before he gently took ahold of your hand and planted a small kiss. He then looked back up with this gorgeous, sea blue eyes. "...my Princess."
Your heart pounded loud in your ears as you watched him stood upright, kept his beautiful gaze into you as if you were the only person that mattered. You turned away, hiding your face with your hand at how flustered you grew from his remarks. You hoped he wasn't playing with your feelings, but you already knew he was—considering how you just met. Maybe he was always like this.
You truly don't know.
Though at the brink of the moment Shinsou's voice rose up, reminding you not to associate with Touya, feeling something strange in your gut feeling to listen to Shinsou. But, you simply dismissed it.
You shook your head, realizing how ridiculous that idea was. You already liked Touya—maybe on the road of falling for him, I mean who wouldn't? You determined that there was absolutely no harm in being associated with Touya.
Soon enough, as if your face couldn't get any more redder, he wrapped his arm around your hand and gently squeezed it. "Com'on let's grab a quick meal before I drop you off to class."
"...o-okay."
As if on cue, Shinsou got out of the room, leaving you two to turn your heads towards the male. He had the usual, aloof expression, his vision trailed from your eyes and down to where Touya held your hand.
He scowled with a slight scoff, before he shoved his hands within his pockets. "...don't eat too quick, Dabi."
