Chapter 15

Sofia was panicking but she could not find raven anywhere she was worried sick. Knife was also looking for Raven. Soon the shadows of night covered the whole city. And there was light emitting from lanterns as the magician blew all the candles in one go. It looked spectacular. But the little raven was not seen anywhere in the huge crowd of people. Sofia was freaking out. Knife on the other hand thought of the possibility of the vampire king finding raven and might try to kill the raven as the raven was a threat he would want to get rid of. Knife thought if there were spies in his mansion who told vampire king Andrew Charles Vygotski about Raven and his weird and mysterious powers.This gave Knife a headache.

On the other hand Raven was pushed by the crowd for a long time. He realized he was separated from his mother. He got scared but he wanted to meet her soon so he started roaming around and shouting mother mother. As he was running he soon reached the woods and heard a faint painful cry. This cry made his heart break into many pieces and he could not control himself. He wanted to help that person no matter who that person was or what might happen later on or if it was a trap to lure him by some kidnappers for child trafficking.

He did not care about anything and ran forward in the direction where the slow faint voice was coming. He rushed forward but it looked like this sound was coming from Somewhere deeper in the woods. Raven was now confirmed that it was a trap so he wanted to turn and leave but he felt a sudden sharp pain and fell to the ground. Yet he tried to get up and walk away but he failed. He tried to get up many times and every time he would feel excruciating pain. He decided to crawl if he coul not walk but he suddenly felt sudden sharpness in his arms and he could not move his arms anymore. It made Him feel that he was going to die. As long as he thought about leaving the place he felt extreme pain. Soon he realized this. Then he thought of helping the person and instantly the pain he was Going through vanished. So Raven got up and walked into the woods. He took small steps as it was dark and there were many weird creatures roaming around on land and trees. It made Raven flinch. As he walked closer and closer the voice came clear. As he walked even closer he saw a little girl on the ground. She was in a lot of pain. Raven was angry earlier as he felt so much pain because of someone else. And he was forced to come here even though he was scared. It made his blood boil but after he saw a little girl on the ground crying helplessly, his anger vanished. He felt sad for her. He wanted to help her. But the girl seemed to be unaware of his presence. She was suffering a lot of pain in her right thigh. She was holding her right thigh tightly and sobbing.

Raven squatted down and hugged her. There were large beads of sweat forming on the girl's forehead. Raven wiped her sweat with his hanky. And placed it on her head. He then looked at the girl and went to see if she was hurt on her right thigh.

The girl was saying help in a muffled voice.

Raven placed his right hand on her right thigh and soon a white light appeared and the girl seemed to feel less painful and relaxed slowly. She was on the verge of fainting due to the excessive pain she was going through. But due to Raven's help She was able to be relieved of the pain. She drifted into sleep.

Raven felt like a heavy burden was lifted from him after he cured her. He was feeling relaxed and better. He then decided to leave as he was worried that his mother would be looking for him frantically.

As soon as he left Elliott appeared at the spot and saw a little girl on the ground. She was wearing a red frock. She was wearing a tassel with a rose on it. Elliott thought that it was unusual for a girl to be here and it was dangerous to leave her alone so he picked her up and took her back to the fest as she was quite heavy and he was a boy himself. It made him tired. He stopped after every five minutes but he did not give up and came to the fest with her. As soon as he reached at the fest, he saw a woman rushing towards him. It was none other than miss Lilian. She was looking for clara for a long time. Clara and got separated as it was heavily crowded and clara appeared to be unwell.

It was full moon today so it was not that dark but the woods were dense the moonlight did not fall to the ground directly instead it appeared in crakcs wherever there was a gap in the canopy.

Clara came back to her senses as her teacher shook her frantically and sprinkled water on her face. Clara opened her eyes slowly. She saw a boy standing next to them. She remembered him carrying her from the woods ti the fest faintly. Suddenly she realized there was no pain in her right leg at all. She stood up and then started to jump up and down to make sure if she really was cured. She was surprised but she thought that Elliott must be the one who helped her and treated her pain. She smiled at him brightly but soon Elliott left without saying a word and Miss Lilian took Clara back to the palace. Miss Lilian was looking for her the whole time. She was worried about Clara. Clara kept the hanky left behind by her savior safely in her study desk as a souvenir.

Knife found Raven as soon as he came to the main road. And Knife was very angry. Knife held Raven's and hung him upside down and took him to Sofia while carrying him like a sack of potatoes. Sofia was crying this whole time. As soon as Knife brought Raven back she hugged him tightly and started sobbing again.

Raven wiped his mother's tears and let her do whatever she did to make sure he was fine. Then she kissed him on his face multiple times as she embraced him. Elliott also came to the inn and saw the scene. He was also looking for Raven when he found that little girl. He and his mother stood at the entrance if the room as they saw knife standing still, Raven and Sofia

Embracing each other. Even the crow was there as he was worried about Raven. The crow decided that he would be with Raven from now on all the time and he will not let him disappear from his sight for even a second.
