Looking at the wall of darkness that separates him from the normal world, Cain feels that he can finally see how the world works in the 15th century.
Behind Cain, Sakuya wore the maid's uniform while keeping her face and without emotion, she occasionally looked at the wall of darkness with her blue eyes glowing with curiosity.
"Come on, I can finally see the world," Cain whispered as he crossed the wall of darkness, and when he crossed, an extremely strong light made him unable to see the environment.
"Master! Are you all right?" When Sakuya crossed over, she felt a little uncomfortable later she got used to the sunlight again and saw Cain standing to look at the confused sides while showing an uncomfortable expression on his face, she then ran to him as he screamed with anxiety in her voice.
"I'm fine, Sakuya. I'm just getting used to the sunlight, I haven't seen the sun in sixteen years." Cain spoke leaning on the tree trunk with Sakuya's help and began to calm down feeling everything around him.
Unlike within the illusory barrier that has no life, Cain detected thousands of living creatures in ten kilometers. And all this passed as information to his brain to process everything. If he were a normal person he would have become insane, or even die with the excess of information.
"Master, don't you feel bad about the sun?" Seeing that Cain was well, Sakuya sighed with relief and asked full of curiosity as she sat beside him.
"A little uncomfortable, plus that and just because I'm not used to the sunlight. When it comes to what you're curious about, I can't answer until you prove yourself loyal, because it doesn't just involve me, plus my whole family." Cain spoke to Sakuya with his eyes closed, he can't speak the biggest secret of his family, to someone who doesn't trust, at least not on this continent.
"All right, master. I still have plenty of time to let you trust me fully." Though sad at Cain's words, Sakuya still spoke in her soft voice, but Cain heard a tone of determination in her voice.
After that, the two remained silent for an entire hour, until Cain finally opened his eyes and saw an immense forest with large trees and a lot of green vegetation on all sides.
"How beautiful..." Cain looked at this majestic virgin forest and whispered feeling the cool breeze of the Wind beating in his face, bringing a good feeling of comfort.
"Sakuya, do you know if there's a village or a city nearby?" Cain stood up and helped Sakuya get up while he asked her.
"Yes, master, a few miles south has a village, but the last time I was there, the village was suffering from constant attacks from werewolves," Sakuya spoke with a serious face to Cain as she pointed her finger southward.
"So that's where we're going. We have to kill some mongrels." Cain spoke to Sakuya and then pulled her into his arms as he spread a pair of red angelic wings and flew south at speeds of about 346 miles per second.
Inside the illusionary barrier.
Castle of eternal night.
In a pink room full of hand-sewn stuffed animals. A blue-haired girl hit her pillow so hard that with each blow she created a strong wind in the whole room.
"Damn, damn, damn how he can leave me here while he leaves the castle with the maid I rescued myself," Remilia spoke clenching her teeth hard as her red eyes were practically setting fire to so much anger remembering a certain maid who was always after her love.
*Someone knocking on the door*
"Remilia, I'm coming in." Before Remilia answered, the door was opened and Selene walked in showing a motherly smile on her lips.
"It seems my princess is angry about something," Selene spoke by sitting on the bed as she looked at her daughter with a soft, loving look.
"Mom! My brother only spends time with that waitress. I rescued four months ago." Seeing Selene sitting on the bed, Remilia jumped into her arms as she spoke with some tears running down her soft cheeks.
"Why are you angry? Your little sister understands that Cain needs to do important things like training, but here you are crying like a spoiled girl, aren't you ashamed of yourself?" Hearing the words of Remilia, Selene's motherly smile was replaced by a serious expression that contained even a little anger.
Remilia was shocked by her mother's serious words. she didn't think she would be reprimanded in this way, so she was instantly silent waiting for Selene's next words.
"Remilia, I know you like your brother, but you're gonna have time to kiss him, let him possess you when you're older, but now you have to focus on learning everything you can because in the next ten years there's gonna be a war and me and your dad are probably gonna fall in that war to eternal sleep," Selene spoke embracing Remilia as she told a cruel fact that would mark her entire childhood.
First Remilia turned red with shame listening to her mother, then the expression of shame was replaced by disbelief and fear.
"Mom! Then let's run away... "Before Remilia finished speaking, Selene's expression changed from serious to angry, and with her hand, she slapped Remilia hard in the face that made her stunned on the spot.
"Never speak new mind in running away, Remilia Tepes Scarlet... you are a direct descendant of the vampire parent, the most terrifying monster on this continent, who made the pŕoprio biblical god angry, even scared. Then Death before dishonor! Remilia" Selene held Remilia's face in her hands and spoke by looking seriously into her daughter's tear-filled eyes.
"Remember that Remilia, Death before dishonor." Selene's words were deeply etched in Remilia's heart, which made her think of a lot of sad things in her mind.
"Don't be sad, my princess. Eternal sleep for the vampires and a blessing that we can sleep forever." Selene spoke wiping the tears on Remilia's face as she looked at her with a look full of affection.
Remilia only nodded weakly with her head in agreement and closed her eyes as she leaned on Selene's shoulders.
While Remilia and Selene were talking. In the sky, Cain had already sighted a small village on the edge of the forest and before he got close to it, he landed in the forest one kilometer from the village and walked there.
