Marriage Contract 1

Making his way out of the operation room was the surgeon and with a smile on his face.

He informed Andrea, who stood up as soon as she saw him walk out, "Congratulations Miss Quinn, the surgery was successful!"

He said, and hearing that, A warm smile appeared on Andrea's face as she felt like jumping in happiness.

She looked slightly at Logan, who still had a straight face on like nothing had even happened.

Sighing, she said, "Can I see her now, doctor?" 

"Not really, we still have something's to do… in about an hour you can see her, but she will be unconscious for a couple of days!"

He said as Andrea nodded to his words. Now that her mother's surgery was over and successful, things could finally go well in life.

About an hour later, the surgeons were done and Samantha was sent back to her ward.

With Andrea seated beside her, a nice smile was on her face as she warmly held her mother's hands.

Meanwhile, Logan had finished discussing the payment with the doctor when he walked into the ward.

He just stood there for a second as he gazed upon Andrea as she looked at her mom with so much love.

How strange, he had never looked at his mother in such a way before. It was like her mother was a world, "Humans are so strange!"

He said as he then walked towards her and seeing him, Andrea coughed slightly.

"It's late, we should get going!" He stated, but Andrea didn't seem like she wanted to go home.

"No, I would rather not leave, I want to spend the night here with my mom… What if something happens, I would like to be here!" She is as she was persistent.

And hearing that, Logan sighed as he said, "It's already late, and you can't stay in the hospital, if something happens, the doctor would take care of her and anyway, please keep in mind that you are pregnant, you need enough rest, so you won't stress the baby!"

He said, and hearing that, Andrea paused slightly. She had almost forgotten that she was pregnant.

She now had to think of her baby at every action she took. 

She was now carrying another human being and even though she didn't feel sleepy, the baby, probably.

Sighing, Andrea finally agreed, "Fine, let's go!" She said, but still with a sad expression.

And seeing that, Logan's red eyes scanned through her face as he then said bluntly, "The doctor said that she won't be conscious until after some days, so staying would still be a waste of Time!"

"And anyway, I've already asked the nurses to put your mother on video call as soon as she is conscious, so wherever you are you would get to see and talk to your mom!"

He reassured her and hearing that, Andrea felt more comfortable.

"Enough talking, let's go!" She said as she made her way out of the room and seeing that, Logan just scoffed slightly, "What a strange woman!"

And with that, he turned around and left the ward, but before he passed through the door he took one more glance at Samantha as he said, "She takes after you in some way!"

As they got out of the hospital, Andrea found out that the driver was already gone.

And stepping out of the car was Greg as he said politely to Her, "You would be ridding with us, Miss Quinn!"

He stated as Logan from behind placed his hands on her arm as he pulled her gently into the car before she could even say a single word.

With her in, Logan then entered and they drove off.

The ride back to the Thorn's Mansion was really long, as Andrea couldn't help but sigh in boredom.

At front was the so much quiet secretary and beside her was Logan who was so much serious about the work he was doing.

He wouldn't even notice if she cried.

Just then, a grumble sound was heard from Andrea's stomach, and it was loud enough to get the attention of the so much focused boss and secretary.

And the next thing Andrea heard was the deep and authoritative voice of Logan, "Drive to the nearest Restaurant!"

Logan stated, as Greg immediately nodded and turned the cat, taking Andrea surprised.

"Ah! You don't need to, I'm not that hungry, I'm sure I can wait until dinner time to eat when we get home!"

She said, but Logan didn't seem to agree, "when my child is hungry we must give Him food!"

Logan said firmly and hearing that, Andrea sighed as she knew that there was no way she was going to change his mind.

"What a strange Man."
