9: New Will Discovered.

The next day he went along with the boy to meet Ketevan once again and his friend John, joined in this time around. They arrived at the shed, as usual, to meet Ketevan there and ready to train with the rest of them.

" Kelvin, John and Sina, you all managed to make it this early which is quite appropriate for the test which I have in store for you." He said with a cheesy chuckle.

They didn't ask him what the training would be but simply followed him into the forest. He groaned as he stretched his hands and turned towards the three of them.

" How about we go hunting wolves before the sun comes out? I was out late last night and they seem to be running quite rampant."

The two boys nodded their heads as soon as he was done talking before running into the forest in an attempt to see who would get the first kill. Sina stood there, staring intently at Ketevan, he had no weapons on him and wasn't planning on heading into the forest to hunt wild animals.

" Here," Ketevan said, handing him a curved dagger which he had brought from the back of his pants.

Sina slowly took it and began to slowly inspect it. The edges at the end of the dagger were smooth and sharp but the base part of the blade was rough, allowing for the dagger to be to tear into things or tear them apart.

" Use it wisely," Ketevan said, walking closer towards him, he brought out a tiny bottle and emptied a strange green liquid that was inside it on Sina.

" What was that?" Sina asked as he quickly placed his hand on his shoulder where the liquid had been poured.

" You'll have to find that out yourself." Ketevan said walking away with his usual chuckle, "You'll have to start soon before the wolves go hiding."

Sina couldn't take his mind off the strange green liquid that had been applied and the stench it was giving off. He didn't care if he was to run into a wolf or not, he just wanted to return as soon as the sun would rise.

He continued moving forward, not minding the direction where he was headed and after a while, he began to pick up the sound of leaves being ruffled from a distance behind him. Something fast was moving and it was headed towards him.

He held tightly onto the dagger and turned around. It was only a matter of seconds before a wolf came into view, charging towards him at full speed.

It dived at him after covering most of the gap between them and its jaws opened wide in an attempt to bite down at the person standing in front of it.

Just as the claws of the beast came in contact with him, he stabbed its head as fast as he could while backing away. While backing away, he bent down slightly, slamming the wolf's head on the ground. It stopped moving prior to his attack and even he was left stunned at what had just happened.

<Synchronization complete, you are now one with the vampire system>

" Vampire system?" He thought as he stared blankly into space.

He slowly pulled out the dagger from the wolf's skull and stood there, dwelling on what had just appeared in front of him.

His heart began pounding with each passing minute as he thought of what he could be. His hand began to tremble and he slowly began to walk backwards all of a sudden.

" No... no, there's no way it can be true. Vampires? They're not even of actual existence right?"

He continued to question himself in silence as he continued to back away. The more he dwelt on the thought the more he realised that his greatest fears were true.

He slowly brought up the dagger he was holding to his face and mumbled, "Poison."

It was at that moment that he began to hear the ruffling of leaves coming from all sides of the forest. Wolfs numbering up to six were all charging towards him at once and his heart almost skipped a beat at how fast everything was happening.

" That bastard." He mumbled as the liquid which Ketevan had applied to him suddenly flashed in his mind once again.

He transferred the dagger to his left hand and slipped his hand into his pocket to bring out three penknives which he kept inside it.

Before the wolves could come into view, he quickly fired the three penknives towards certain directions in the forest and a moment after that he heard the howl of two wolves in pain.

He quickly took to his heels right after that and the wolves all chased after him. With each minute the number after him increased and it was after a long five-minute run that he finally realized that he was lost.

He turned around, huffing and panting to see that the wolves which were now eight even after the two which he had taken down with the penknives.

He was faster and stronger than the wolves but his survival if they were all to jump at him at once wasn't something he could guarantee.

With the dagger in his hand, he quickly ran forward and as soon as he did the wolves got ready to lash at him. He stabbed one of them in the top of its skull.

Using the beast's body to support himself, he quickly flipped past it and just as his leg touched the ground, made a quick diagonal spin in order to kick the one to his side hard on the head.

The wolf's jaw flung to the side as his foot made contact and he quickly got on his feet once again before running forward.

A few steps away from the wolves, he tore off his shirt and threw then behind him. The wolves would most likely tear through it since it was what was attracting them but it wouldn't be for long.

" What am I even doing?" He thought as he he quickly climbed up a tree, "Do I plan on facing the Witch Master when I finally meet him still I can't ignore the fact that it will most likely lead to a battle."

Now looking at the wolves as they left the cloth and slowly came to surround the tree he was ready to fight them till the end. He had given himself a reason to fight and it would be his only drive from then on.

Without hesitation, he quickly jumped down from the tree and onto one of the wolves, his weight and force of his impact forced the wolf down and squashed the insides of its body as well.

If he was feeling to push past his abilities just to get revenge then he should also be willing to do the same in order to get the power needed for said revenge.

As fast as he could, he regained his balance, flung his right hand and stabbed the wolf on the head, piercing straight through its head and killing it on impact.

Now there were four wolves left all ready to kill him and he was slowly backing away, thinking of a way to deal with them.

He caught sight of a twig by a tree which he leaned onto and just as the wolves came forward to leap towards him once again, he left the twig horizontally mid-air and quickly shifted to the side.

The wolf beast in its bid to bite down at him ended with the twig in its mouth and while it was still moving forward, it hit against the tree in front of it and quickly forced its way deeper into the beast's mouth.

After that, he was able to easily deal with the other three wolves and from where he was, he could see that his shirt had been ripped to pieces.

That was when a loud ring of a bell stretched far out from the centre of the small town. A meeting was being called at the town elders house and he was quite eager to know why.
