"Mu Hao, do you drink?" Wu Ting asked Ye Wutian.
Ye Wutian nodded.
"Then join me for a drink," Wu Ting asked again.
"No problem," Ye Wutian agreed, then turned to the waiter and instructed, "Bring a bottle of red wine, the best one in the house."
The waiter acknowledged and then turned to leave the private room.
He Qianqian was eating by herself, her mouth smeared with grease, and she was vigorously stuffing a chicken leg into her mouth.
Wu Ting watched the little girl's cute antics and suddenly said, "If this child were our daughter, wouldn't that be nice?" As soon as the words came out, she realized that she might have said too much, so she asked awkwardly, "Mu Hao, you don't mind me making this kind of joke, right?"
"Hehe, I also wish I could have such a cute daughter," Ye Wutian laughed.
Wu Ting smiled sweetly.
"Sister Ting, do you not have any children?" Ye Wutian asked casually.
Wu Ting shook her head and said, "I had one pregnancy, but unfortunately, I miscarried."
