Unwanted Marriage: Honey, No More Divorce!
After three years of marriage, Wendy Stewart was used to Michael Lucas's sarcastic remarks, his frequent threats about getting divorced, and even his indulgence of a mistress. She thought that she could bear with this her entire life, until she accidentally got pregnant with a child that Michael did not want. Finally despondent, Wendy signed the divorce agreement and left. She thought they could have parted ways forever, but Michael refused to stop looking for her after the divorce. When they met again, she was the world's top designer. Smiling sweetly at her ex-husband, she said, "My dear, we're already divorced." Michael simply stared at her coldly, "Tell me, what will it take for us to reconcile?"
Seemingly Becomes A Cuckold
Wendy was a little dazed by the sudden disconnected tone on the other side of the phone. She had just woken up and was not totally conscious yet.
Once Wendy was fully awake, she remembered the words Grandmother had said on the phone and the tone she had used. Wendy swallowed.
What had happened? Hadn't Grandmother been so kind and caring about her yesterday? Why had it changed overnight?
Wendy reached out and touched her belly. Didn't Grandmother know that she was pregnant? Could it be that she had heard it all wrong just now, not being fully awake?
Head full of doubts, Wendy got out of bed. She saw Michael sitting at the dining table, his face lowered with a heavy expression on his face.
Hearing the sound of footsteps, Michael raised his head, looked at Wendy, and smiled gently as he got up. "Wendy, let's have breakfast after you wash up. I'll call Jake and Leah."
