Unwanted Marriage: Honey, No More Divorce!
After three years of marriage, Wendy Stewart was used to Michael Lucas's sarcastic remarks, his frequent threats about getting divorced, and even his indulgence of a mistress. She thought that she could bear with this her entire life, until she accidentally got pregnant with a child that Michael did not want. Finally despondent, Wendy signed the divorce agreement and left. She thought they could have parted ways forever, but Michael refused to stop looking for her after the divorce. When they met again, she was the world's top designer. "That's the standard answer from beautiful women," teased the stranger as he remained where he was. His smile did not relax as he took the seat beside Wendy.
With a rose in hand, he reached it towards Wendy, "A beautiful flower for a pretty lady."
With such a tacky pick-up line, Wendy flinched as her brows furrowed. She directly pointed out, "With so many empty seats around, please take another seat elsewhere. This one is reserved."
"Ouch, prickly little flower, I see. That makes me even more interested... " The man continued wearing a greasy smile. Seeing how Wendy did not take the flower from him, he stood up and forcefully pushed the flower into her hand.
Wendy was shocked at the man's actions.
The rose in her hand turned her off so much, she threw it back at the man.
Infuriated, Wendy warned, "Behave yourself, or I'm calling the police."
