The parents

Dahlia left Auriana's room only to be stopper by some servant just before she could go into her bedroom. With a scowl on her face, she stopped. Her expression alone tells them not to waste her time.

"We are sorry for being a bother, my Queen. Sir and Madam have arrived. They said they are here for the selection," one of the guards informed, and Dahlia countenance paused for a moment.

She was just about to speak when another servant came running to her. "What is it?" She changed her words.

"Your parents are here, my Queen," the servant replied.

Dahlia nodded his head. "The king and I will be there in a few minutes," she uttered and proceeded inside the room. They had completely forgotten that such an event would attract their parents' attention and didn't make any plans for them. Not that anything would change because of their presence, but it would greatly influence Auriana.
