As the sun crept up the sky, so did the knowledge of the missing Princess Auriana and within minutes, all of Diric knew she was not within the castle walls of Diric anymore and the search for her whereabouts began. Everyone, both friend and foe, sought for her, each for their own ambitions and goals.
It didn't take long for the news to reach the shifters and half-shifters guarding the borders of Deranna to alert them so they could keep an eye on the princess thinking she might have gone to or be on her way to Deranna. Everyone knew her best friend was Princess Astrid, so the possibility of her going there was high.
It was through this means that human guards at the border came to hear of it as well and went to report to the royals of the missing princess Auriana.
Once the guards left, King Chase summoned Astrid to inquire about Auriana and if she had any knowledge of where she might go.
