Yejun smiled as Eungoo began to drag him from different amusement rides. For the whole day, they were goofing around so much that his heart hurts. It wasn't anything like a bad pain but rather… it was something that he had long forgotten.
They were about to ride the carousel, their fourth ride of the day. Time went by so slow. Yejun wasn't used to this because usually, he would have just bought the entire park for a day but Eungoo insisted that they should wait in line so that they could both feel that great award of waiting patiently. The mafia boss nodded to himself and was kind of glad that he took his pet's advice.
There wasn't much any people in the waiting line for the carousel in which the spoiled man sighed in relief because he didn't want to wait for another half an hour. Eungoo was holding the newly bought Instax camera; he was in charge of taking pictures of capturing their best moments together. The two went on and straddled their desired mechanical horses and wanted for the magic to happen.
Round and round they go on this carousel. Yejun felt like his heart was melting at the sight in front of him. He chuckled at how cute Eungoo was straddling his horse in a different direction just to take pictures of his date. The younger was laughing like a madman and screeched whenever the horse went up and down simultaneously and Yejun couldn't help but laugh with him.
As soon as the ride was over, they both got off and Eungoo saw this huge Ryan stuff toy at a booth. Yejun caught on and held his hand leading them both towards the booth.
"How much for the plushie?" Yejun smoothly said and started fishing out his wallet.
"You have to win to have the bear, sir." The man managing the booth deadpanned. He was somewhat annoyed by his behavior and the fact that he had to take this job because in his perspective it was really embarrassing.
Eungoo chuckled at how Yejun looks so confused at what the man said so he had to take action. "Yejun-shi, you need to shoot 10 red ducks to get the plush toy. And the fee for playing is KRW 1126.55"
Yejun didn't reply and instead placed down the bill before grabbing the pellet sniper gun and checked the bullets. "Yah… nevermind…" He said. He wanted to ask if he would get scammed or not… Guess he'd find out soon enough.
The man in the booth sighed and turned on the machine and soon six lanes of duck began simultaneously going in different directions. Yejun then noticed that the red ducks were only ten of them and there were more ducks that were color blue, yellow, and green.
"Kay…" Yejun whispered to himself before swiftly held the toy gun in place and started aiming for the red ducks. This mafia boss easily shot three down; he knew he needed precision and timing and Park Yejun was the master of it as well.
The booth manager had his eyes wide as he watched the cheeky bastard started shooting five more down. He was somewhat impressed but he did not dare speak due to his pride. He glanced to the side and chuckled at how cute the bastard's companion was with his mouth gapped and hands together in awe.
When Yejun shot the second to the last duck down he noticed that the man was blushing and shamelessly staring at Eungoo but his pet was too busy cheering him on to even notice. The booth manager felt a gaze locking on him and saw Yejun smirking at him before shooting the last duck down so effortlessly. He turned away in shame and went to grab the plush toy.
"Woaaahhhhh!!!" Eungoo clapped enthusiastically. "Yah!" He whisper-yelled. "I know you're the mafia boss and everything but I didn't think you'd be this good!"
Yejun laughed and patted his pet's head and leaned towards his ear. "I held my first gun at 8". He smiled and went to grab the Ryan plushie and sent a death glare to the booth manager. He then handed the half-human sized plush toy to Eungoo before hooking his arm on his shoulders.
"Thank you!!!" Eungoo giggled and hugged the plush toy so tight. And laughed to himself some more as he squeezed Ryan tighter.
"Okay… As for lunch, where do you want to go?"
Eungoo stopped dead in his tracks when he suddenly saw the restaurant he used to work. He pouted and remembered how he was tossed outside in the pouring rain. Yejun noticed the sudden changes in his pet's aura and followed his gaze so he crossed his arms and clicked his tongue.
"Come on…" He said pulling Eungoo.
"Yejun… Wait… I-" Eungoo had no time to explain as to why he didn't want to enter but as they got closer to the building he felt like vomiting.
"A table for two please," Yejun said to the man and they were accompanied to a booth somewhere to the side. He held his pet's hand firmly trying to reassure him that everything will be okay. His pet got the message and smiled at the gesture.
When they were both seated, a familiar face had greeted them. The waitress gasped when she saw Eungoo's face. At first glance, she wasn't able to recognize them both and soon snapped out of it when she was called by her name.
"Hi, Mei," Eungoo spoke softly.
"Eungoo…" She whispered and she felt like crying but tried her best to hold it in. "So what would you both like to order?"
Eungoo ordered for them both of them since he knew the best dishes there were.
"Eungoo… Mr. Lee doesn't cook here anymore.." Mei said sadly.
"Huh? But why?"
"He was so frustrated when the boss threw you out…" She whispered. "Should I still take these orders?"
"Yeah… I don't see why not." He smiled.
As soon as she left Yejun hummed and drummed his fingers on the table. He was very now curious as to what had happened. He propped an elbow and locked an intense gaze on Eungoo and it was as if the younger read his mind he smiled and spoke quietly but enough for his master to hear.
"I lost my job here. It was the same day your men took me. I was humiliated by this girl and the owner got furious and was forced to throw me out."
"Forced?"
"Yeah… I tripped over a girl's leg that she purposely stretched out. I fell along with the food I was supposed to serve to the wife of the mayor."
Yejun nodded to himself. "My little pet…" He began and leaned closer to him. "Do you want to have some real fun?" He asked as he thought of something very mischievous.
Eungoo gulped thickly and began to play with the straps of his pants nervously. "What-" and before he could finish, the girl that humiliated him before walked in along with the same group of friends.
"What is it?"
"It's them…" Eungoo whispered and felt his heart sank. This just intensified the excitement of his mafia at the moment.
"Then it's perfect!" Yejun chuckled and moved closer to Eungoo. "Listen, Eungoo. In life, you don't take the beating, you bring the beating to them. Know your timing and be aware of your full plan…"
Yejun was a known prankster even before he became the head of the Golden Dragon Family. He pulled out a piece of gum and began chewing on it before grabbing a straw, ripping out from its containment, and place it on his lips. He then aimed it at the girl's hair. His precision and timing never failed him when the gum was successfully on the part of the hair that was closer to her ear.
"Yejun-shi!" Eungoo whisper yelled and quickly looked around to check if anyone else saw… Fortunately, everyone was minding their own business.
"Shhhhh…" Yejun hushed him as he held Eungoo's hand and brought it to his lips. "Be grateful I'm not killing anyone at plane sight right now. Just sit back and enjoy."
I hope you enjoyed the update! I'll be right back with another update soon so stay tuned!
