the demon brothers

After last night and that dream I felt things changing in me, I hadn't felt like that before, my head felt lighter and I sensed whispers and saw some dark things pass by the corner of my eyes didn't know what to do, is that how ascending will feel like, losing the grip into reality and bit by bit u now look at things with different point of view

It's like I'm shifting, like seeing myself from another person

Like I could see from outside the cabin and gazing into myself from inside of it, it felt weird, I was in lost, panicking.

Until a loud noise got me back to reality

It was Asad, he woke up and upon trying to wash his face he kicked the bucket by mistake

I smiled at that

And I began to think of what I should do today. Then I decided to go to the nearby chapel and pray, I decided to take Asad with me to see it, so I asked him to come

Then

Asad said:" To tell the truth , I haven't had any plans today and I'm eager to know more about this island. I'll go with you ."

After an hour

I was walking in the forest with Asad and, as we walking we can hear the weather changing, the wind started to blow hard, the forest started to look lonely and creepy by the second,

The sky began to darken with clouds

And u can smell the rain even if it hasn't poured yet , to tell the truth, I loved that smell

we harried ourselves, so we could take cover, and for me to pray before the weather got the best of us

It wasn't so long, until we met with the chapel we were headed to .

This chapel has a secret, if u look at it from the outside it looks small, but that changes when u enter and if told Asad that before we left so he would find himself ready

The chapel was old and surrounded by trees that grew so close to it

As we entered we felt both our heads get lighter as a feather, but we regained consciousness fast

And here we are inside this chapel

As we set foot we started to hear the beautiful sound of the rain and the cold air sliding inside

And I began to shiver, but I like that I like cold weather

Asad found a place and sat there while I lit candles

The place was filled with dirt and not so clean, someone could get sick breathing the air inside,

The reason for that must be the death of the keeper of this chapel and not for the people of the island not assigning anyone to take his place

I began to do my prayer, which gave me a moment of peace, a moment that I used to calm myself and collect my thoughts

As I finished my prayer feeling better, I noticed that the weather still hadn't cleared up yet so I decided to sit with Asad until it get clear outside

We talked about many subjects

But he then mentioned that this place reminded him of a dream he had one day

So he began to tell this dream.

In a land where humans and demons live together, there were two demon brothers

The older is called "SLAITH" and the younger is called "MERITH".

There was something special about the Big Brother is that he always prayed and didn't sound like a demon at all.

Those two have some rivalry between each other ... always the little bro trying to be more powerful than Slaith

After each prayer, he waits and then challenges him to a fight even though the big brother always has the upper hand

The relationship between those two was so special.

Though one day this upper hand and this relation seems to weaken, there was something of about merith.

One day when Slaith was walking down the streets, everything stopped he could not move, only one thing that was moving at that time, a big dark orb.

That orb then began to transform into something horrible a creature that strikes fear into anybody with his melted body and creepy face, the void inside his eyes is enough to make you scarred for your eternal life

The creature was silent at first, didn't move neither did he talk

Slaith sat there wondering not moving for the time is still stopped

Suddenly the freak of a creature opened his mouth wild open and said with deep scary cutting voice:

"Will.....you...join....me"

Which slaith refused for but a moment he was able to talk

Then suddenly the creature head was cut,and time began to move again

And slaith was noticing the head rolling down with blood poring from its eyes while laughing histericly

Then it disappeared with its body

The big brother ,with terror,got back to where he live looking for his little brother

And feeling pity about himself for how weak he is

He found his brother just fine, merith began to wonder what's gotten into his slaith but the big brother didn't reveal anything and starting praying to not experience that again

Days passed and the bond between the brother began to weaken a bit since slaith isolated himself for so long

Until one day the older sibling felt terror like he did the other day the same feeling same helpless feeling ,

He harried to look for merith only to find him stuck in one position with blood poring from his horns

But the brother was able to move this time so he harried to help him but while doing that he saw in the corner of his eye a very small orb object that began to darken and get bigger

Then suddenly merith began to move again soaked in blood he started to mumble some words that seemed like a praying but that praying was cursed it was defyling and unholy then his smile has changed, his eye started to fill with darkness and with a smirk on his face he disappeared with the orb.

Day after day slaith became depressed for he was weak that can't find his brother ,until one day while passing in a deserted place he used to sit there when he was a kid , the place was filthy with garbage and no one came there anymore while he is like that he felt a blade on his back

He turned around to see a a short hooded man is the one who stabbed he didn't see any details In his face for he is masked

The weird thing is that the blade didn't have a feeling In the brother back but not a moment pass the brother and the hooded man was transported to beautiful hill filled with green landscape and great clear sky.

Suddenly a rush of comfort and admiration filled Slaith's chest

While the hooded man drew his weapon from Slaith's back

Leaving no scar behind

He sat on the grass and said:

" you were looking for your doom kid, I don't often sympathise with demons, but that creature u faced is an enemy of mine too, so I'll help u but that will cost you to be my slave"

Slaith agreed without hesitation then the hooded man gave him a special sword that could banish things in any place he could imagine, then he said

" ah here take this ring too,.its said to belong to someone powerful that had control of life forms other than humans.

Now go save your little brother, I won't help, this is your fight in the end"

He also added:

" strike the heart of your dear brother, no question asked, then the best way is to attack the orb before he appears, for he is weak in that form, if not then u are a demon and will know what to do "

With that slaith signed a blood contract

And got back with the hooded man to the palace under the city

The hooded man pointed in the direction and Slaith didn't leave a chance to wait so he could free his brother as fast as he could.

This time the brother had a smile on his face for he knew that that creature wouldn't get the best of him

After little time slaith found his brother tossed aside all broken like a baby bird that fell from the nest and can't get up

The blood was everywhere, and a strange symbol was drawn in his heart the brother thought a bit but he chose to trust the scene he saw before and not the man

So he strikes his brother's heart, there is no blood, but the eyes of merith begin to change and his skin starts to regain its color.

Then time stopped, but this time slaith could move freely as the ring he wore started to glow in a gray light

Then the dark orb again

The brother waited no time and struck it down but it was not effective, was he misled, then he heard a cracking

And what came from the orb was a baby demon that looked a bit like the horrible creature from before,

Thinking if he should strike it down

Slaith couldn't react to the hooded man killing that kid and saying :

"There are things we all would be happy if they didn't exist....."

Then silence

What broke that silence was slaith on his knee making sure he showed his gratitude and followed the contract

Then Merith joined in as he bent his knee for the hooded as he sought to follow his brother even if he needed a blood contract to do so

The hooded man woke them up and welcomed them to his side saying :

" I hope u ready for what's coming, that was the weakest of satan's followers,

I need you too to kill some of your kin"

As they were leaving there was a pair of girl eyes lurking by the corner

. . . . . .

And that's my friend the third dream I told u

As asad finished his dream

The chapel wasn't empty

It was filling with creepy yet not harmful creature

That's when asad and me decide it's our hint to leave

As we walked outside we noticed that the rain has stopped and the weather got better...
