'I didn't know we could do that!' Noah exclaimed within Erolia's beastly form. She had taken control of some sort, it was weird.

Or maybe he had allowed her will to seize command because he didn't know how to use her beastly form—Even if the truth was that they both shared control of that body.

"Me too. It's new to me," she said, allowing her golden beak to release their voices. The mixture of their voices sounded much beastly now, and in truth sounded like something capable of inflicting terror.

It took some time for the gray smoke generated by the explosions to clear, and a marvelous sight unfolded in their eyes.

A couple of hounds had died, and the ones that had survived saw their head-like bodies featuring large charred wounds that were by no means superficial. Entire chunks of their bodies had disappeared after all.
