Chapter fifty four

Amanda went to Lagos, and Praise had followed her.

They rented a house in Surulere, they dropped their stuff in the house, then went out for a stroll.

They decided to go eat in a restaurant. They sat on the table beside a window at the left. They made their order, then...

" Praise, I won go Lekki " Amanda said.

" why? " Praise asked.

" I want to see Davido, Mayorku, Burna boy and Ajebo hustlers " Amanda said.

" I thought Ajebo hustlers live in Port Harcourt? " Praise asked confused.

" I don't know, many musicians lives in Lagos, so maybe they're there " Amanda replied also confused. Then, their food arrived.

" thank you " Praise said.

" thank you " Amanda said.

" you're welcome, enjoy " the waiter bowed her head, then left.

" so if you see them, what will you do? " Praise asked.

" I will Marry Mayorku " Amanda replied. Praise laughed.

" I thought you wanted to get married to Davido? " Praise asked still laughing.

" I love him, but he already has Chioma. And Davido is younger than Mayorku " Amanda replied.

" okay o. I want to see my brother in law " Praise said.

They went home, Amanda then practiced her line, and Praise help her. After much hours of practice, they sat down on the couch...

" tomorrow is the day right? " Praise asked.

" yes " Amanda replied. Praise stared at Amanda for a while...

" what? " Amanda asked as she noticed it.

" when are you gonna date again? " Praise asked.

" maybe end of year four " Amanda thought.

" what? " Praise yelled.

" so you won't date until we finish our university? " Praise yelled.

" yeah " Amanda replied calmly.

" so what if you like the guy, and he likes you back, won't you date him? " Praise panickly asked.

" I will tell him to wait till I'm done " Amanda replied.

" no, Amanda " Praise yelled.

" you're yelling as if something bad is or gonna happen . Girl chill " Amanda said to calm her down.

" chill?, you want me to chill?, I don't want you single till the end of our school life " Praise said.

" you said it yourself, ' end of our school life ' not the end of the world. I can date a celebrity, when I become one " Amanda said.

" what if one of all those actors starts liking you as we're still going to school? " Praise asked curious.

" I will date him, if I like him ' Amanda replied. Praise let out a breath of relief.

" your mind don come down abi? " Amanda asked.

" yes, very well " Praise replied.

The next day, Amanda and Praise were on their way to Nollywood. They are now inside a bus, sitting next to an American man. Praise and Amanda was staring at him like crazy. Amanda was next to Praise, while Praise was next to the man. Amanda then whispered something to Praise.

" excuse me " Praise tapped the man's shoulder.

" yeah? " the man replied with his American accent.

He has blonde hair, blue eyes, small heart shaped pink lips, beautiful face, and very fair in complexion. Both Amanda and Praise were so amazed...

" I'm gonna die soon, this man is handsome " Amanda whispered. " and I'm sure he's a little bit older than me " Amanda whispered, then giggled.

" Amanda, is he a human being? " Praise asked as she was still lost in the man's face.

" what? " the man asked confused.

" he's talking to us " Amanda yelled in her thoughts. She didn't want to disgrace herself and Praise.

" well... c... can we... take pictures with you? " Praise asked.

" yes " he replied.

" his face is so smooth like mine " Amanda said before she rushed to his side. They took more than six pictures...

" I thought you wanted to take like one or two photos? " he asked.

" we didn't tell you how many photos we wanted " Amanda replied.

" what's your name? " Praise asked, as they sat down.

" Andrew " he replied.

" a beautiful name for a beautiful man " Amanda said in a flirty way.

" that you " Andrew smiled. When no one said anything, Amanda and praise them face them selves.

" you know say you disgrace me in front of Andrew? ( do you know that you disgraced me in front of Andrew?) " Praise whispered so people won't hear. Nor will Andrew hear.

" na you even disgrace me, you nor know " Amanda said, then hissed.

" na lie, me disgrace you? he nor go fit happen " Praise said.

" he don happen before, why he no go happen again? " Amanda asked.

" that's because, I don big " Praise proudly said.

" dey big for for yourself there " Amanda said.

" I go throw you outside just now " Praise said.

" don't you think the pidgin English is too much? " Amanda asked. " beside, we're in a bus in were filled with people, I don't want to disgrace myself, I will soon become a celeb " Amanda added.

" he nor too much... " Praise got interrupted...

" oh, it's shivering " Andrew said as he rubs both his arms. Just then Praise rushed in...

" you dey shivering? " Praise said then paused for a while, as she realized that she mixed pidgin English with a correct English.

Everyone turns to Praise, then they all started laughing. Amanda picked her nose mask, then wore it. She then picked the face cap she had just bought, and wore it. After all, she will be famous soon.

After that, Amanda laughed too. And same goes to Praise. She knew that it was funny, so why wouldn't she laugh?
