Chapter 11

[Location: Salvatore Boarding School, Mystic Falls] [3rd POV]

After rearranging their room, Hope ended up leaving to do some tasks Alaric had given her. Giving Talia the time to claim the rewards she had gotten a while ago, as well as completing the prestige dungeon again.

[Quest Complete]

Meet Hope Mikaelson for the first time - Reward: All Tier 3 spells and ???????? bond [Claim?]

'Claim the rewards, system' thought Talia, as she sat on the bed looking at the system screen that had appeared in front of her. Upon doing this, Talia closed her eyes as new sets of knowledge flooded in.

The tier three spells were all pretty good all things considered. The fact that she can now fly without going into her animagus form is nice. It also gave her some more offensive spells, a fire resistance spell, and a couple other miscellaneous spells. She knew that the really good stuff would come later on in the future tiers. But this was good enough for now.

'Finding out what the hell this bond is, is priority. I already have an idea of what it is, but it seems that I need some sort of concrete evidence or proof of what it is. The fact that I have this bond with Hope, and I can actively feel it, is a little worrying. But it also seems that it doesn't really force us to love one another or anything like that, so I guess it could have been worse' thought Talia, still laying in the bed, thinking over what this bond with Hope is.

'I guess for now it would be best to go into the dungeon again and grind for a little while. I am currently level 55, and after this next trip into the dungeon, I should be level 60 or so. I need to max this class out soon, so that I can hopefully get the witch class, and that subclass as well' thought Talia, slowly sitting up.

'Alright, system, bring me into the prestige zombie dungeon'

[Host should be aware that this will be the final time they may complete the prestige zombie dungeon. All prestige dungeons have a maximum number of completions, set to three. Does the host still wish to enter the dungeon?]

Hearing this Talia sighed, having expected something like this, as otherwise it would be far too easy to level up, and would be more prudent to just grind the prestige zombie dungeon for levels, and then go into the normal dungeons at a much higher level than needed.

'I guess the limit makes sense. But yes, bring me into the dungeon anyways' Talia thought, deciding to still complete the dungeon either way, not caring that she won't be able to do it again, and will instead have to do the goblin one.

Upon thinking this, Talia disappeared from the room for what would be over 2 hours.

During these two hours she grinded the dungeon out as much as possible, testing the new spells, practicing more with the old ones, as well as messing around with her animagus forms.

After two hours of grinding, she had gone from level 55 to level 62, and had further trained in some of her spells. She couldn't find new usages for the spells too easily, but had messed around with some new combinations, combining harry potter spells and overlord ones. She ended up at a bit of a roadblock when trying to use something like the triplet magic with Harry Potter spells. She realized that this may be due to her not having enough knowledge of the tier magic, ro due to her not being high enough level to do such a thing. She hoped to find a way to do this soon though, as it would prove very helpful if she can.

Reappearing back into the bedroom, Talia groaned as she held her arm 'Fucking prestige dungeons. Making me fight 5 bosses at the same time, all buffed to all hell' The wound on her arm was already gone, but it didn't mean it hurt any less. She ended up using a heavy recover, a tier three spell, to heal the wound. Waving her hand and getting rid of the blood, Talia flopped onto her bed.

'Good thing Hope isn't here, or else this would be a rather awkward situation' Talia thought, realizing that she is going to have to be careful in her usage of the dungeon, and where she enters it at. Being caught entering it was definitely not something she wanted to happen. 

Stopping her thoughts, Talia quickly waved her hand, cleaning her off, as the door began to creak open.

Walking in Hope stopped as she noticed Talia sitting there "Where were you? No one's seen you for the past two hours"

Talia heard this and raised an eyebrow before smirking "Oh? Were you worried about me?"

Hope hearing this rolled her eyes, but wasn't able to stop the slight blush that found its way onto her cheeks "No, I was just wondering where you were. I didn't know if you got lost or not, that's all"

Hearing this Talia just looked at the slightly embarrassed tribrid with an amused smirk "Well, I just had somethings I had to do, so I was out for a little bit. You don't have to worry about me, Hope"

Hope hearing this, sighed before nodding "...Aaanyways, what classes do you have?"

Talia hearing this, reached into her bag on the side of the bed, before grabbing her schedule and reading it out loud "Chemistry of Magic, Introduction to Magical History, introduction to supernatural species, Geography, physics, and physical education"

Hearing this Hope nodded, while trying not to smile "We have Chemistry of Magic, Geography and Physics together"

Talia smirked "Seems your happy that I have classes with you"

Hope rolled her eyes "I'm going to regret having you as my roommate aren't I?"

"Oh most definitely"

Hope sighed before moving onto her bed. She brought out a laptop before turning on...cutthroat kitchen?

Talia raised an eyebrow at the choice, but didn't say anything. She knew that Hope could probably feel her eyes on her. Talia shrugged before bringing out her own laptop, popped her earpods in, and began to watch her personal favorite, Kitchen Nightmares.

Talia glanced at the corner of her eye seeing Hope's intrigued look at the show. Taking her earpod out Talia spoke "You wanna watch this with me?" She said while offering her the earpod she took out, but not before cleaning it.

Hope hearing this turned her laptop off, before grabbing the earpod and climbing into the bed, laying beside Talia, but not before saying "Not a word" Hope said, knowing that Talia was going to tease her over this. But her interest in the show was too much to deny.

Hours later, Alaric walked into the room in hopes of talking with Talia, only to find the two of them asleep next to one another. Hope cuddling up against Talia.

'Looks like Emma was right' Alaric thought with a soft smile, as he took in the sight, before turning the lights off, putting a blanket over the two, and softly closing the door behind him.

[The next day]

A soft groaning sound, sounded through their room as Hope slowly opened her eyes. She began to move slightly, before her eyes shot open as she realized the position she was in. Currently she was snuggled up, her head in the crook of Talia's neck. Blushing at the realization, Hope slowly began to sit up.

'Oh god, when did I fall asleep?!' Hope thought, as she turned and noticed what time it was [6:30 A.M]. Slowly she began to climb out of the bed, while making sure not to wake Talia up.

She practically sprinted into the bathroom, before leaving the room a little while later. Far too embarrassed to stay there right now, how was she supposed to sit there when she just full blown cuddled with the new girl!?

Back to Talia, her eyes snapped open when Hope left the room, before a shit eating grin crossed her face 'Oh I am so going to tease her later'

Seeing the time, she sighed and began to get ready, knowing that she had to go to class. Classes for the highschool students start at 7:00.

Looking at her schedule, she began to go to her first class, which ended up being Chemistry of Magic.

Walking through the school, she ignored the glances she was getting from the surrounding students. She knew that her little patronus yesterday was going to get some attention, but she underestimated how fast the news of her spell would travel.

Walking into class, she noticed an empty spot next to Hope, and instantly sat there. Causing Hope to look to the side, seeing Talia teasingly smirking at her "How was your sleep, Hope?"

"F-fine" Hope stuttered slightly, realizing that Talia may know that she practically cuddled with her.

Seeing the look on Hope's face, Talia smiled "You know, I'm not mad about last night right? That was the best sleep I have ever had, in like years" which was true, having Hope snuggle with her, seemed to have helped her sleep far better than she ever had before. This further cemented Talia's idea of what the bond was.

Hearing this Hope just muttered softly "That doesn't make it any less embarrassing"

Talia was about to reply, but was cut off by Dorian entering the classroom. "Alright class, quiet down please!"

Hearing this, the students all stopped their conversations and began to listen to the librarian sub.

"Alright. We got a new student today, so I'd like for her to come up to the front of the class and introduce herself" Dorian said, turning and looking at Talia. This caused all the other students to do the same.

Hope smirked at this before mouthing "karma's a bitch"

Talia just inwardly groaned 'Dick move Dorian, Dick Move'

That's the end of that chapter. This chapter was mostly just used for more interactions between Hope and Talia, as well as her last dungeon exploration for a little while.

Next chapter should have the time skip to canon, and things will begin to move quite a bit faster after that.

Some people have brought up the idea of a harem, or having more than one love interest, which while an interesting idea, I doubt I will do that. As harems are really hard to write, and usually don't make any sense whatsoever. If I was to have more than one love interest, it would be at an absolute maximum of 3 girls, and nothing more. But like I said, that is highly unlikely. Eventually, if I get enough people wanting it, I'll make another fanfic (replacing the Twilight one, which would go to weekly updates, but longer chapters) that would probably have a male main character, who has a higher chance of having more than one love interest.

In the case of that idea, I was thinking of a fic where the mc can summon, and use the powers of horror characters. But can only summon ones that are near their level of power. So someone like Pennywise from the books, would be impossible to summon until much much later. While someone like Michael Myers, or Jason Voorhees, could be summoned almost immediately. There would also be a limit to the amount of summons and all that, but tell me if y'all are interested in such an idea. Cause I could potentially just make that fic, and update that one one or twice a week (With each chapter having 3000-5000 words), instead of making the Twilight fic do that.

I have already decided on the next class, as well as the subclass. Both of them will be helpful, while one of them will be needed for this current universe. The other one is pretty unique, and I have never seen it used (not properly at least) in a fanfic.

I also want people to give me some ideas for future worlds she can travel to. While that is a while away, I want some ideas now, so that I can think about it in hindsight and watch the movies and shows beforehand.

Some ideas I have had are the following: Resident Evil (The movies, with Alice), Twilight, Harry Potter, Arrowverse (Flash or Superman and Lois), Fate Winx Saga, Wednesday, The 100, Stranger Things, and The Walking Dead (Show).

That is in the far future (Estimating chapter 30-60 or so for when she travels to the next world). So it isn't really something that is to be worried about just yet.
