Chapter 4: A Warning From An Unlikely Ally

As Olayemi departed, Tunde felt a mix of relief and gratitude. He hadn't realized his absence from class had raised concerns among his peers. But the warning lingered in his mind like a dark cloud. "Campus wolves". What did Olayemi mean? Was he referring to Tosin's gang or something more sinister?

Just then, his phone buzzed with a text from an unknown number: "Be careful, Tunde. They're watching you. Trust no one". The message sent a chill down his spine. Who was this mysterious sender? And how did they know about his troubles?

As he pondered these questions, he heard a faint whisper in his mind; "I will never leave nor forsake you". The words brought a surge of comfort and strength. He realized that amidst the uncertainty and danger, he had a guardian angel watching over him.

With renewed determination, Tunde decided to confront the challenge head on. He began to attend classes regularly, avoiding eye contact with Tosin and his cohort. But the feeling of being watched persisted, like a constant shadow lurking in the shadow of his mind. 

He continues his daily routine, going to class and attending bible church in the evening before retiring to his dorm later in the day. He never keep late night, always conscious of night birthday parties and his agenda never include night club. His subconscious wanted him to inform his parent about all the development but he discarded the thought even before it landed on his mind.

"I don't want them to be worried about me, my dad is aged and my mum's B.P is rising day by day, I don't want to complicate issues at home," he said to himself.

"Why not give your siblings a head on so as to look out for you when the need arise", his subconscious told him again. Yet he discarded the idea, "I don't want them to lose focus on their studies and start worrying unnecessarily", he replied back.
