"The hell?! What do you even mean by that? Attempted murder? You think it's an attempted murder?" Before I could reply, Ali interrupted us angrily while coming to stand beside me. 

"Yes sir, it is. Or else why would she be shot?" Nodding his head solemnly, he replied with a raised brow.

"She was trying to save me! SAVE ME! Don't you understand that much? Ya Allah, don't test my patience now!" I replied, trying my best not to lash out on him. They were refusing to aid her because it was supposedly a 'police case' and we needed to file an 'FIR' first. "For God's sake, admit her, she's bleeding! She has already lost so much blood!" I begged as tears blurred my vision once again. I couldn't afford to lose her when I just got her. Not now, not ever!
