Chapter 128

Atifa's pov:

"Atifa, come down quickly. We are getting late." Abbu shouted from downstairs.

"I'm coming." I replied, slamming the door of my room shut and running downstairs while trying to hold my abaya up.

"Ab ye Safiya aur Amira kaha reh gaye?" Abbu grumbled with a scowl while looking around, making me bite my lips to suppress my smile.

(Now where are Safiya and Amira?)

"Wo ammi ke kamre me honge." I replied, my gaze flickering to the stairs, only to find them ascending downstairs. Ammi was wearing a black abaya like me with the addition of a niqab while Amira adorned a black and white jumpsuit and held ammi's purse, looking cute as ever.

(They must be in mom's room.)

"Yaar it's getting late already. Jaldi karo na." Abbu grumbled like a kid while looking away.

(Man it's getting late already. Be quick.)

"Aap to aise keh rahe hai jaise hamari train chutne wali hai." Ammi retorted while holding Amira's hand and getting down the last step.
