Chapter 15 : Saved
After two hours, it was close to midnight.
Since everyone had to be up for work the next day, Ning Xi's oath ceremony ended sooner than expected.
She didn't mind. As long as she got to see everyone, she was fine.
Everyone bid their goodbyes to Ning Xi before making their way to their designated cars waiting outside the hotel.
Lie Wei drunkenly stumbles over to Ning Xi , "Boss, I already booked a room here for you. It's... it's.. it's up their." His finger points up to the sky.
The corner of Ning Xi's mouth twitched, she then smacks his head, "I know already. So hurry up and go. Junior Yun is nice enough to let you catch a ride with him.
"Mm. Mm. I got it." Lie Wei stumbling walks away towards Yun Shaoting's car.
He stops and turns back to Ning Xi, "All.. All the things you... you need are i-inside.
Ning Xi: "Okay, Okay. Hurry up and leave."
She also wanted to go home but , she wanted to roam around the near Imperial Hotel because tomorrow onward she have a responsibility to handle entire Nation on her shoulders . So she wants some peace before that ...
Well, at least there was a dark haven hotel near her . She quickly went to her room to disguise herself before going out.
Also the fact that her cars haven't arrived and she was pretty much careless.
Once Yun Shaotings car disappear, Ning Xi sighed and walks back into the hotel.
After sometime
She decided to stroll around to get some fresh air.
Walking a few distance,she came across a group of bodyguards beating up a man.
She noticed that the man was not able to defend himself.
Although she was a martial arts expert , Miss Ning was kind of lady who took pity on every passer-by who got bullied. And add to that she is now a " Chief "
Her principle was that she only saves the elderly,children or ladies who aren't physically strong to stand up for themselves.
Seeing this situation she was baffled that a grown-up man like this couldn't stand up for himself.
She wanted to pass by unnoticed but she couldn't bring herself to do so for some an unknown reason.
So she decided to save the guy who was badly beaten.
"Hey guys!how can you gang up on this guy like this,I bet he is no fun to play with"she blurted out fearlessly.
The bodyguards who were trying to drag the guy who was beaten away were a little startled because they thought the man's personal bodyguards have located the guy who was been dragged away.
Turning their gaze to her direction,they saw that it was just a lady who looked half-fed that was disrupting their assignment.
Hahaha....
They laughed loudly.
The one who looked like the leader of the bodyguards decided to scare the girl away,"Hey little girl,didn't your mama tell you not to butt-in to a.d.u.l.t matters",
Hahaha.....
They laughed again.
Ning Xi was extremely annoyed by the guys words.
Who gave them the effrontery to mock her mum in this manner. Even though she didn't see her but, she has a respect for her.
She glared at them with her bloodshot eyes and she blurted out annoyingly," Scram....I will forgive you this once if you guys just leave quietly,if you guys are determined not to leave then don't blame me for being ruthless".
The bodyguards just stared at her as though she was a bug.
One of the bodyguards advanced towards her in annoyance.
He wanted to give a her slap on her face for disturbing their activities.
She stepped out of his way at the last minute.The bodyguard could not maintain his stance so he fell face down.Due to the impact of the fall he lost four of his front teeth.
The other bodyguards who were watching the whole incidence were surprised.
The aura around the girl changed drastically.
She looked blood-thirsty.The air surrounding her dropped a few degrees.
She uttered coldly"Scram".
About two bodyguards advanced towards her again.
She dodged it very swiftly .
She brought out her black hand-gloves from her portable handbag.
After wearing her hand-gloves,she bent down a few degrees to drag out her double daggers which was hidden just a few distance before her ankles.
She hid the daggers beneath her trousers.
Holding the daggers firmly she utter"Don't blame me for being ruthless".
Her military officers were just a few distance away from her. They are here to protect her.
She had instructed them not to follow her too closely.
She had also instructed them beforehand not to ever take actions without her command except in extreme situations.
Before the military officers could assimilate the current situation, she had started attacking them fiercely with her double daggers. Every stroke she gave was fatal.
Within five minutes,about ten bodyguards dropped dead.
The guy who was beaten just a moment ago was dumbfounded.This was the first time in his life that he had witnessed a young lady fighting so professionally before.
All her moves was calculated.
Her agility was superb.
Although she used normal self-defense tactics,he could tell that she was a professional.
She was not surprised that she could kill all those bodyguards within such a short amount of time.
She was trained to be ruthless.
She drew near to the guy who was looking at her with amazement.
After examining his condition,she found out the guy was drugged.
Due to the darkness,she could not see his face clearly.
She knew that the guy was in need of medical attention so she took out a pill from her handbag and forced the pill into his mouth.
She calmly told him,"the pill will wear out the effect of the drug within two minutes,you just need to sit down here and relax for five minutes".
After saying this she walked away without looking back. The guy was just staring at her till her figure was totally out of his sight.
A few minutes later the guy's personal bodyguards were seen assisting their boss to the car.His personal assistant apologized to the guy for his tardiness, "Boss, Sorry I was late".
After the guy whom Young Miss Ning Xi had saved recuperated fully. He ordered his personal assistant Xu Feng to search for the lady who saved his life. The guy's name was Kim Tan Master of the Tan family. Whom Ning Xi bumped in airport , a small world indeed . heheee 😁😁😁😉😉😉👍....
The Tan family was one of the most renown family in the entire Imperial.
He was sitting down in his sitting-room with Ting Tan and Yun Yi his friends.
In the middle of their conversation Xu Feng brought the result for his search.
He was hesitating whether to inform his Boss in the presence of his friends. Kim Tan nodded his head to tell him that it was alright so he went ahead,"Boss the result is still the same,we have search the whole of imperial but we could not find a trace of that woman's whereabouts".
Ting Tan and Yun Yi were all already aware of their brother's incessant search for some woman who saved his life.
Their brother who never cared about any woman was now crazy about some Lady with no name.
Yun Yi and Ting Tan knew the temperament of their brother when he was annoyed so, Ting Tan chose to save Xu Feng from the wrath of his brother," Brother with all the feedback that we have gotten from your best trained bodyguards, it looks as if this girl does not exist at all.it's seems as though she is intentionally hiding her identity".
Yun Yi chipped in his opinion too,"She was not caught in any of the security footage around that vicinity,that means that she is an expert in order to be able to know all the blind-spots,she must know the area very well".
"Then in conclusion she might still appear in that area again"Tan Fan added mysteriously.
"Xu Feng ,do everything you can to find her, she must be found no matter what" Kim Tan ordered fiercely.
Ting Tan curiously asked Kim Tan,"First bro why are you so obsessed in finding this girl...".
Yun Yi interrupted him,"Yeah First bro it's unlike you to care about any woman not to talk about one without a proper name".
Kim Tan knew that he was being paranoid but he couldn't help thinking about the lady who pulled a stunt just to save his life, saving someone that she had never met before and even he has a feeling that he knew her but can't help himself .He coldly answer,"She saved me which is equivalent to saving the whole Tan corporation, she should be heavily rewarded for that don't you think?".
"First bro, that is absolutely correct but if she wanted to be rewarded she would have been the first to contact you..."Ting Tan was yet interrupted again by Yun Yi,"Yeah except she is playing hard to get", he smirk mysteriously.
"How can she ask for a reward if she is not aware of my identity",Kim Tan answered, his expression shows that he was clearly displeased with their words.
They continued chatting for some hours before Yun Yi and Tan Fan left Ting Tan to attend to urgent company issues that needed their immediate attention.
