Zelian doesn't know when he calms down but he is still in his Papa's hold. A gentle hand combs through his hair, soothing him. "How are you feeling now, Zel?" His Papa's voice comes, and it's spoken as if not to startle him, nothing more than a whisper.
Zelian can not still move his tongue so instead of doing so he moves his head, a tiny motion that he trusts to tell his father that he is alright.
"I'm sorry, I should have not told you this." His Papa says, regret and sadness ooze out of the tone of his voice. And Zelian wants to tell him that it's alright. That he needed to hear that because it would only make him stay away from his brother's concubine. And also, he can be prepared to face her betrayal.
