Chapter 39: Warning Not A Threat 

Arriving at his house, Carlos pulled over, he turned off his car engine and turned to Eva. ''We are here. Let's go inside.'' He said gently and, Eva nodded." 

They both got out of the car and he led her to the front door, and after fumbling with the keys for a moment, he managed to unlock it. They entered the house and as they entered the living room, Carlos said, "Just go seat, I'll get you something to drink. Okay?" 

Seating down comfortably on a long couch, Eva kept her purse on the table, leaning back, she closed her eyes. Carlos, moving to the cabinet of drinks took out a bottle of apple cider and two cups.

Walking back into the living room, Carlos placed the cups on the table, opened the bottle, and poured the cider into the two cups. "Here, drink this and relax." He said, handing her a cup which she collected.
