47. Her fears

Grandma placed hand on her shoulder and D was brought back to reality . Grandma looked at her lovingly with tender eyes ,"Why are you crying child ? Are you thinking about him again ?"

It was at this time , D realised that she was crying her heart out when she touched her cheeks which were stained with tears . She looked at grandma with sad eyes and nodded ,"Yess , granny . Thinking about him always bring out immense sadness ."

Grandma looked at her understanding her inner turmoil, she suggested,"Since , you are dismissed from your duties why don't you look for him now ?"

Her eyes widened,"Granny how do you know about this? Did Yash told you ? that brat ."

Grandma shook her head helplessly ,"He didn't tell me anything? Do you really think I won't know when you are trending on all news channels ? "

She relaxed ,"Granng it's ok I can get another job. Don't worry about me ."

Grandma smiled ,"Poor child I believe in you .I know you can do anything as long as you want it. I just want you to take a break now . You have been working hard since years , it's time you relax a little ."

"Why don't you look for him ?"

D,"Granny , I also want to look for him but what if I found him and he don't recognize me or don't want to have any association with me . After all he haven't contacted me all this while ."

Grandma shook her head , this child is overthinking again ,"How will you know if you don't look for him ?What if he is waiting for you ? What if he met an accident ?"

D was an orphan who was abandoned by her relatives when her parents passed away . Though she was younger at that time , but she was grown enough to know meaning of what they said about her . She has always been an insecure child , that's why she never acted childishly although she came to orphanage. She was always a sensible and mature child . She was afraid she will be abandoned again if she made trouble.
