"I thought you would come back. I'm looking forward to having dinner with you. I don't have any appetite eating alone," Kara complained in a low voice.
"Well, I will have dinner with you when I have time."
Kara complained in a soft and aggrieved tone as if she was acting coquettishly. Hearing that, James could not help but promise her.
"Really?" Her voice raised. Obviously, she was pleasantly surprised.
"I never lie to a child." His magnetic laughter annoyed her.
"I ... I'm not a child anymore. In another three months, I'll be eighteen," She retorted angrily.
"Yes, but you're still an underage girl," He teased her.
Soon, James imagined the scene that Kara pouted her pink lips and bulged her cheeks, her amber eyes focusing on him angrily. She looked like a cute little rabbit.
"..."
Hanging up, Kara sat back at the dining table and quickly became immersed in the meal.
