Alterac Mountains

In the wilds of a small Alteraci noble's territory, was a tauren, quite out of place for a tauren to be all the way here, since they did not have any settlements on this continent, the closest one to this place would be half way to Kalimdor on the Broken Isles, the where coincidentally this tauren originated from.

His name was Trag Highmountain, from the very own Highmountain tribe. What did this tribe have of important to be remembered? Glad you asked.

Huln Highmountain. A badass that wielding a spear blessed by the wildgods and later the titan artifact called Hammer of Khazgaroth repelled the invasion of demons to his land in the War of the Ancients, the worldwide conflict caused by the queen of the highborne elves summoning the Legion using the Well of Eternity, He was able to not only kill hordes of demons but also kick Deathwing out of his lair. That's right, he came and kicked the big metallic butt of the Aspect of Death himself, of course he would not be able to do so with the overwhelming might of the titan artifact, but it does not dimish his prowess and legacy.

When including the interesting fact that the first uncorrupted black dragon was born due to Huln cleasing the corruption out of one of Deathwing's eggs found on his lair. That dragon still lived and could be found aiding the Highmountain's descendents in gratitude for this act you get the amount of prestige this tribe enjoyed since ancient times.

Trag Highmountain currently was residing on the territory of his friend, Baron Valimar Mordis, a compassionate and strong noble who sought to rule as his ancestors once did.

His travels across the lands while exploring led him to this place and he quickly settled in his friend's territory, usually helping out with chasing away gnolls and the seasonal kobolds who are like a plague on the mountain's deep tunnels.

He enjoyed his stay in this place, where he been growing up in, he arrived not many years ago, and didn't plan on leaving his new home.

Trag was on a stroll looking for a worthy fight and enjoying the sight of the mountains with respect for the Earth Mother in his heart, he was a warrior, but also a tauren, his people always had respect for the land and that which resides in it, to the point where they even had their own branch of druidism and shamanism that naturally developed with their beliefs.

He took as a weapon a huge axe, not so large for his size as he was a more than two meters tall, a humanoid bull with two horns that went almost strait to the sides of his head, just the weapon he wielded already said much of the might of taurens, and although still young, he was a talented warrior even among his people.

This strolling tauren warrior saw a weird sight, it looked like two weird shaped clouds that looked solid and silver coming in his direction, one big and one smaller.

These two clouds seemed to blend in with the land filled with snow covered mountains and cloudy skies, one would miss them if not for paying attention.

As the clouds approached he first got anxious and then excited, thinking that it was rare to find a worthy foe these days, and those fast moving clouds were a new opponent, that was enough to get his young and impulsive self with his blood boiling expecting a good fight.

----

"We found him!" said Theo also excited, for diferent reasons than the young tauren, he was excited because it would be his first chance at learning some tauren secrets and rituals to perfect his spirit. Other than this one tauren he would have to travel half of the world to come in contact wih them, so it was something to be cherished, he was sure that with this young tauren's help he would be able to convince the Frostwolfs of his intentions and also be able to find them quicker.

The Frostwolf clan would not have survived until now if they were not good at hiding the valleys, for the moment they were discovered the reckoning of the whole alliance would stike them, they were in the middle of the human kingdoms and managed to survive all along, meaning tracking them would not be simple.

So we wanted to take this young calf as a guide, he had roamed these mountains and could help us search all valleys if we took him flying on our shoulders, that way he would hit the rabbits with a single stone.

He did not expect to see the young calf running in his direction and jumping with his axe swinging down.

He quickly made a shield of light while shapeshifting into his human form, he didn't wish to fight this muscle head, but if he insisted he would give him a good beating.

"Stop, Trag Highmountain, we came seeking for you!" I said, while holding his axe with my shield, his strike was quite heavy must I add, He could cut my neck without even caring about my scales, muscle and bone with that strength.

The muscle head, while grinning once again raised his axe and launched it down like a mountain upon me.

"Fine then, we fight."

Selia just kept watching on the side, not at all worried that I might injure myself or lose the fight, I had asked her to stay out of it through telepathy, a "man's battle should be respected" I said, to which she did her usual roll of eyes and gentle smile.

I decided to give the warrior a fight for him to remember, a contest of strenght to make the fight more memorable to this young calf.

So I quickly changed to my dragon form, and swiped my trusty tail in the direction of his hoofed legs, and using the momentum of my turn I took the time I was spinning to grab the two hands with which he held his axe, disarming him and bringing us into brawl.

Punches, headbutts, grappling moves and wing stikes, we used all the ways to make the other wield while rolling on the snow.

Selia seeing such sight was concerned of having her mate stolen from her, so she quickly froze both of the hot headed boys so they could cool down their adrenaline driven minds.

After cooling down and tending to their bruises, they finnaly got down to business.

"Hello young tauren, would be so kind to be our guide? We can bring you to the sky so our search shouldn't take long, meanwhile I would like to ask somethings about the Earth Mother and your rites."

The tauren was still a little overwhelmed by the two apparently friendly beasts, he found the thought of flying very interesting and since he recognized the strength and honor they showed towards him, he quickly agreed.

So we spent around a week going from valley to valley, in search of the hidden orc clan in the mountains.

Also, for some reason I had to explain myself multiple times to Selia saying that there was nothing going on between me and the tauren, and that it was only something called "bromance", until she reluctantly let me go.
