After looking at the information board, Marvin moved towards the bookshelf. He took the first book. Unlike the books from miscellaneous section it took time to completely fill the bar that have appeared in his mind. When the bar was completely filled he was waiting for imprinting of data in his mind. But it didn't happened. Instead he heard another notification sound and a message appeared in his mind.

"Defective cultivation manual detected. Host please collect more information about cultivation to remove the defect."

This notification took Marvin by suprise.

"What is the meaning of this notification, system. " he asked the system.

"Host have copied a defective cultivation manual into his mind. System have decided to create a new cultivation manual for the host that is without any defects. But the information bank in system is currently blank. So host need to obtain more information about cultivation techniques." replied system.

This took Marvin by suprise. "So system, you are saying that I can obtain another spirit vein from the system." asked Marvin with a fast beating heart.

"Affirmative" replied system. The reply from the system was like a ladder that allowed him to climb up from hell. Currently he was weak. He was just a mortal. To become strong in this world one need a spirit vein. But his spirit vein was taken away from him. This caused him to be placed in a very bad place.

Now the system have given him hope. But he didn't allow that hope to completely make him lose his mind. He realised that for obtaining the spirit vein he need to complete some dangerous quests. Only by doing it can he obtain the spirit vein.

Now his quest is to obtain more information about cultivation. So he decided to do to obtain information the same way he have obtained yesterday. He began to touch the books to obtain the data on cultivation.

It took a large amount of time for him to completely touched all the books in the floor and collect the data. When he walked downstairs to ground floor, he saw that it was already dawn. When he reached the ground floor he saw the librarian sitting in the same way Marvin have seen when he entered the library.

When librarian heard the sound of footsteps he looked up and saw Marvin with bloodshot eyes walking towards him. The librarian smiled at him and said "So you are finally out. I thought you'll be staying there today to. Did you get what you were looking for? "

Marvin smiled and said "Thank you for your concern. But I kind of did get what I was looking for. I need to ask you about something? "

"What is it ?" asked the librarian.

"How can I enter the upper floors ?" asked Marvin. Hearing what Marvin asked librarian have stopped smiling and said seriously "To enter the upper floors there are three methods. One you need to be a member of royal family or a noble family.

Second method is to do some meritorious work for the country. Last method is to be a member of country and have higher cultivation level than Qi gathering level. "

Hearing that Marvin laughed bitterly. He currently have no qualifications to enter the higher floors. When the librarian saw the bitter smile he asked Marvin "So what are you going to do now ?"

"I am going to leave the city with army for the great forest. " said Marvin. When the librarian heard that he said "Then you need to hurry. You were in there reading for two days. The army will be leaving today."
