Shisui's pov
I rolled and received 10 normal cards:
- Ash Ketchum cap
- Orange juice 1-liter bottle x4
- Touka Kirishima mask
- Matt Murdock
- Jack Jack diapers
- Ben Tennyson jacket
- 1000 Zeni
- Muichiro Tokito clothes
- Fan Simulator System
- Afro sword
It appears that I still have some luck, perhaps even beyond what I expected. The cards I've drawn are a mix of intriguing and mundane items, but one card stands out: the Fan Simulator System. While the others might have their uses or sentimental value, this particular card seems to hold a significant potential.
With a sense of anticipation, I focus on the Fan Simulator System card. I carefully examine it and activate it, curious about what this system might offer. As soon as I do, a new screen materializes in front of me. It's initially blank and white, giving off a sterile, almost clinical vibe.
The screen begins to display a series of messages:

Fan Simulator System ready to use.
The process is completed swiftly, and the system is now ready for use. Observing the initiation sequence, I start to understand why it's called the Fan Simulator System. Its core functionality revolves around interacting with fictional worlds in a variety of ways. The primary feature allows me to obtain comics or novels, which I can then sell to accrue fan value. This fan value can be converted into simulation points (SP), which are essential for running simulations within these fictional worlds.
The system offers simulations that can closely follow the original storyline or venture into alternate universes (AUs). This is where the system truly becomes fascinating. There are several modes available:
1. Memory Mode: This mode involves a version of someone with my memories, but only from my past life, not my current experiences. It offers a unique perspective on how my past self would interact with the world.
2. Neutral Mode: In this mode, there's no memory of my previous life, allowing for a fresh, untainted interaction with the simulation's world.
3. Active Participation Mode: This is the most engaging option, where I, as myself, actively participate in the simulation. This mode allows me to choose my background and timeline, although this will also consume SP.
Each simulation mode has a different SP cost, making the management of these points critical. The timeline within the simulation may adhere to the original storyline of the novel or could be randomly generated, introducing an element of unpredictability. This randomness has the potential to create entirely new scenarios and outcomes, adding depth to the simulation experience. After completing a simulation, I can select rewards based on my performance.
Looking ahead, there's the possibility to unlock various talents that would enhance my simulation capabilities. However, this feature is currently locked, so I'll need to advance or achieve specific milestones to access it. Additionally, I can trade comics or novels for fan points. Each person can generate multiple fan points if they revisit the book, adding another layer of strategy. I also need to sell second parts of the story to extend my simulation time. For instance, if I'm born during the attack on Tanjiro's family, I will only live until the end of the first volume and will die. This means my life span in the simulation is tied to the story's progression. Therefore, I will be born either in the past or present of the story .
According to the system, the lower the world's level, the higher the chance of survival and obtaining benefits. There's also a restriction: I can't conduct simulations in this world or publish anything related to the original story or its characters at this time.
Understanding the system's benefits, I turn my attention to the remaining cards. Aside from the Daredevil template, nothing seems particularly noteworthy. The Afro sword lacks any special abilities. I wish it would have provided me with Ash's luck instead of the cap or the Omnitrix instead of the jacket. What use is different world currency or baby diapers to me?
As I review the cards, I wonder if the gacha is hinting at some sort of cosplay scenario. I pick up the orange juice bottle card and use it. The bottle lacks any branding or labels. I open the cap and take a sip, finding it pleasantly refreshing. I end up drinking the entire bottle.
With the empty bottle set aside, I refocus on the simulation system. I ponder what I should start with, considering the myriad possibilities the system offers. The choice of simulation could greatly influence my experiences and the benefits I can reap from this opportunity.
