Chapter 30

In the root HQ, Ryu walks in the long passage going to the center of the base. He has just finished dealing with the root ninjas that ambushed him. The fight was on going in the village as the sand village were attacking.

"So, Naruto and sasuke are fighting the shukaku" Ryu senses the chakra of the one tail appear outside the village.

"I have been waiting for you Uchiha Ryu" said Danzo as he reached the hall.

Ryu already knew where Danzo was, as no one could escape his senses.

"I'm honored to have you wait for me like this" Ryu said as he activates his Mangeko Sharingan.

"But of course, one has to take you seriously after all the reputation you have" Danzo said

"You have been causing a lot of trouble for me lately Danzo-sama!" said as he looked at Danzo's right arm "got a new arm I see??"

He had gotten another arm form Orochimaru. It had 5 Sharingans instead of 11 like the first one. Ryu could tell that he has already activated Izanagi

"Yes, all thanks to you" Danzo said in a deep voice "but let's not waste any more time I will remove you as you are a danger to the village"

"The village or you?" Ryu asked

But Danzo didn't answer as he charges at Ryu

{wind release: vacuum sphere} wind bullets fire at Ryu

Ryu immediately drew his sword slashing towards the wind bullets causing them to ignite as the come in contact with the red blade.

Not surprised by that, Danzo makes another set of hand sign {wind release: vacuum serial waves}

Several wind blades attack Ryu from different directions Ryu finally moves as he attacks with his blade.

{RAGING SUN}

With the power of his zanpakto's flames he easily cuts through the attack move towards Danzo but at the last moment Danzo moves away dodging the flaming arcs coming at him.

"Ohh!! you dodge, I guess you didn't survive the wars for nothing" Ryu said following him as more flaming arcs rushes at Danzo.

Danzo move quickly as he dodges Ryu attack" I have to commend you, your kenjutsu is one of the greatest I have seen in my life."

"And it is going to be the last you see" Ryu said as his body moved at a faster speed cutting Danzo in half leaving trails of lighting behind. Stopping behind Danzo, Ryu off his lighting chakra mode as he looked at Danzo.

Suddenly another Danzo appears above him. But he is caught by golden Susanoo's arm.

"Did you really think I wouldn't know about your use of Izanagi" Ryu said turning his head to look at Danzo "I already knew about it since the first time I took your arm"

"So, you knew about it I was wondering how you took it when I had Izanagi on. it should the seal you put on me that time"

"Right answer, but I don't want to do that again where is the fun if I don't let of feel the pain of all the people that had die because of you"

"Those death were necessary sacrifice for the village" Danzo said

"Yes, yes for the village not yourself I know" Ryu said sarcastically while rolling his eyes. He had always hated how Danzo does his things and blames it on 'for the greater good'

"Anyhow am going to make sure I enjoy killing you for your remaining life and there is nothing you can do about it even if you know it coming" he said as he starts to crush Danzo. He made sure to not to make it painless till he died.

Danzo's body vanishes and appear some distance away from Ryu. "What are not going to fight anymore" Ryu said with a mocking look as he was still had his Susanoo on

"I have to admit I didn't expect you to be this stron—" before he could finish a chidori had already pierced his chest

"h… how??" Danzo said as he looked at the hand. Looking back up, he could still see Ryu standing in his Susanoo. But looking closer he can that ryu was putting his hand through a portal.

"Sorry I couldn't wait for you to finish your speech. but don't worry you have another two chances to do it" Ryu said while removing his arm. He used his Mangeko ability to create a portal near Danzo.

Not long after that Danzo appears again but this time he moves further away for Ryu

"Huh did I scare you that much. don't worry, I too I'm only doing this for the good of the village" before Danzo could give an answer Ryu had already appeared behind him stabbing with his sword

Ryu put a flying thunder seal on him when he attacked him earlier.

"Don't be so surprised as not everything is under your control" saying that a large amount of golden flame comes out from his zanpakto roasting Danzo alive.

Removing his sword from the burning body as it disappeared. Danzo appear again but this time immediately made a seal while shouting "you will regret having come here"

As soon as he said that the whole base started to glow as the place was covered in explosive tags

***BOOOM***

The whole root base exploded causing a large mushroom cloud to form. After the dust cleared it was only Danzo that was standing there as he used his last Izanagi to survive.

"with that he should be down" Danzo said looking at the destruction

"It a pity I lost the Sharingans but it was worth it to get rid of that person"

"Why would you think I will die from that type of attack" a voice suddenly come from the side

"You!... how did you?"

"Do what?" Ryu asked with a small smile.

He had always wanted to see Danzo in a state like this.

"You should have been at least injured from that." Danzo said in a panicked voice

"From what? I don't seem to remember any attack"

"What are yo--?"

Before he could complete his question, the whole place starts to change as he found himself back in the base. Looking around he couldn't see any signs of the battle that just happened.

"How???" He asked Ryu with a confused face

"That was my Mangeko ability {Kyōka Suigetsu} all that battle that you saw was just an illusion I made you see"

"That is impossible there is no way I wouldn't know I was in an illusion"

"But you were" Ryu said as he walks up to Danzo. Danzo wanted to move back but he couldn't

"It's no use I have you under my control unless you have a Mangeko you won't be able to release yourself from my {Kyōka Suigetsu}."

"Don't worry you will still be remembered as the village elder who died during the attack on the village by Orochimaru. so, don't worry and die so the village can be in peace" Ryu said as he stabs his blade at his heart.

Danzo looked at Ryu with hate, anger and unwillingness as he took his last breath.

"*Sigh* to think he would blow up the whole place. luckily, I had him under {Kyōka Suigetsu} before this battle"

Ryu had used his ability on Danzo way before the attack during one of their confrontations.

"Well I better use the best of these opportunity" Ryu said as he goes ransacking the root HQ collecting all the scrolls that where there.

After he was done, he teleports back to the village. When he came, the battle had already concluded. The whole village was in chaos a lot of the building were destroyed but the death rate was low as Ryu clones saved a lot of people using their flying thunder technique.
