Chapter 7: Divine magic

I need to strengthen myself right now, but due to the poison, my body can't use magic. However, there is something in this world known as divine magic.

The divine faction is the faction of the supreme goddess of light, Goddess Tiara. She was a merciful being who believed in good. A common class skill can only grow up to D, but the mythical class was too strong; this world couldn't afford the effect of the goddess's power. However, she had her own skill to create her own domain. She even had the ability to turn the souls of her faithful believers into angels, allowing them to retain their memories. Their strength depends on their ranks, and the angel ranks are:

•High rank angel

•Middle rank angel

•Lower rank angel

Light is the nemesis of darkness, so there was a war between the Demon God and the Goddess of Light.

The light was stronger than darkness, but the Demon God had the upper hand because he could create his forces with living beings, and his demons had the ability to devour souls and strengthen themselves. If a demon dies and its demonic energy is not purified, it goes back to the Demon God, making him stronger. But if someone from the goddess's faction dies, devouring even the soul power of faith reduces the goddess's power.

As the demons killed the believers of the Goddess of Light, the power of faith was reduced, so the goddess and the angels' divine power diminished significantly, and the goddess went into hiding in a small dungeon guarded by angels. The goddess ordered the angels to protect the remaining believers. Although reluctant, the angels agreed.

Now all the angels have died, and there are only 15 believers left, including a saintess candidate along with her paladin brother.

There was even a quest in the game to revive the religion, in which the main character is tasked with recruiting priests and recreating the church. The main character builds the church in Princess Lyanna's domain. At that time, there will be an invasion of demons, and you have to protect the domain.

There are two ways of using divine magic: one is through faith in the goddess and creating a connection, and the other is by comprehending the fundamentals of light to create a connection. However, the second technique is only known by the goddess because the laws and fundamentals of light are only known to her. In the original story, she only taught the hero because the fundamentals of light are known only to her. Even if anyone else uses divine magic using the second technique, she will mistake that person for a loyal believer because she isn't omnipotent or omniscient. She was a mortal being who ascended to godhood.

Divine energy is one of the main fundamentals of the game. After mastering divine energy, they create a divine magic core by manipulating the divine energy at the bottom of their heart, which can hold the divine energy in an individual and can be used anytime. Such people can awaken the class of priest, which can range from common to rare depending on faith. Those who do not create a core can only have the title of priest; they can be given the job of apprentice priest in the church.
