Chapter 62: Gunshots

(THE MIDNIGHT HOURS)

At midnight, while everyone where asleep; Mr. Charles and his men drove to Mr. Hansel's secret laboratory still having Imelda as their hostage. she had led the way as promised to them in other to keep her life, she is been used as a bait for the third time which really pissed her off.

"You should wait on the car sir while we destroy the camera's" One of his men said to Mr. Charles

"Time is precious, waiting will only cause more delay, I am sure our hostage here knows how to turn off the camera without us having to work for it" Mr. Charles said looking at Imelda

Imelda lowered her eye as if they were going to bite her.

"Lead the way" Mr. Charles said

One of the men grabbed Imelda dragging her out of the car, there were fifteen of them who had come with two cars for the mission; three of them waited outside while Mr. Charles and the rest people go in having Imelda as their hostage.

"Remember, no childish play if you don't want a bullet on your head: Mr. Charles warned her.

Imelda led them to the entrance of the building

"To get to the room CCTV camera room, we have to move in darkness; once I turn off the camera; I will switch on the light from the main switch" Imelda told them

"Better not play jokes on us" Mr. Charles silently whispered to her ears. he pointed out five men to follow her inside while he waits with the rest, once the light is on; they would join them inside.

The five men joined Imelda inside the laboratory heading to the CCTV camera room which was upstairs.

"So, this is what he has been hiding? a hidden laboratory at the city, I can't wait to born it down" Mr. Charles said as he smacks his lips.

Imelda unlocked the CCTV camera room, she went ahead to unplug the computers from its socket and also turned off everything that could be suspicious; after that, she opened the giant circuit switch and turned on the light. Everywhere brightened from the light that one could see through everything inside of the laboratory.

" Now let's go" Mr. Charles said. His men joined him into the laboratory.

The men dragged Imelda back to Mr. Charles after they were done with the CCTV room.

"I believe you know our next move?" Mr. Charles asked her

"The ingredients are inside the opposite room upstairs" she told him

"Shall we" Mr. Charles said with a grin gesturing at her to lead the way.

Imelda led the way into the room where some of the fluids extracted from Vashi's body were.

"Here they are, this is what is remaining of it after the last delivery that was abruptly stopped" Imelda said to him.

Mr. Charles picked up the bottle containing the fluid, there were six of them.

"Impressive" he said admiring them. "I believe this has been extracted somewhere" Mr. Charles said looking at her

"That's the only thing i know about, i am no scientist" She lied

Mr. Charles gestured at one of his men who suddenly pointed a gun at Imelda

"You don't want to die like this right? it would be a shame" Mr. Charles told her

"I don't know anything else" Imelda said again

"Fine, your loss" Mr. Charles said getting out the gun on his pocket to shoot her.

They were suddenly interrupted by gunshots from outside

"What was that?" Mr. Charles asked looking at his men. Imelda quickly jumped into the other open room and closed it

"Fucking bastard, she set us up!!!" Mr. Charles angrily shouted as he repeatedly shot on the door.

"Quickly, shoot at sight" Mr. Charles ordered his men.
