Chapter 55: Who Are You?

9 hours ago, before the Exchange...

(9am)

Gretel approached Lava where he was seated sipping his tea

"Good morning Mr. Lava" he greeted

"Morning" Lava responded not actually interested in whatever he has to say

"I won't be on duty today; my backup bodyguard will be escorting you to wherever you want to go today" he told him

Lava slightly smiled before making eye contact with him

"May i ask why you are taking a day off?" Lava asked him even though he doesn't have interest in whatever he was going to say

"It's something personal, i wouldn't want to involve you on it" Gretel responded calmly

"Whatever, you can likewise stay for a holiday too" Lava Icily said still sipping his morning tea

"Thank you" Gretel responded with a bow, he walked out of the mansion without hesitation.

Lava quickly raised his head up after pretending not to care about his whereabouts

"That's strange, i guess i will have to find out whatever it was that is personal" he said to himself sipping down the tea.

(12pm...)

"I have a meeting with my cousin" Mr. Charles said putting on his coat

"I hope you both kill yourself" Olga said giggling

"Ha ha, not funny" Mr. Charles said without smiling

"It's bored not killing anyone" Olga said

"You can do what you love the most, i don't fuckin care" Mr. Charles said leaving from the door

"I wonder who is going to be today's prey?" Olga said with a smirk

Mr. Charles entered at the back seat of the car after which his men closed the door, he gestured at one of his men to come closer to the car window in other to tell him something.

"I will be gone for two days likewise some of my boys, you will carry out the plan like we all discussed" he said silently

"Yes boss" he responded.

Mr. Charles rewinds up the window and gestured at his chauffeur to drive.

(20 minutes before the Exchange)

AT THE AIRPORT

Gretel approached Imelda and the four men who were impatiently waiting for the foreigners to arrive

"Hi" Gretel greeted

"Who the fuck are you?" one of the men who had escorted Imelda asked drawing closer to him

"I am Gretel..."

"Which fuckin man answers the name Gretel?" Another man interrupted as the rest of them giggles at him

"Mr. Hansel sent me to protect the researcher" he said

"You don't look like a bodyguard; Mr. Hansel must think i am a joke" Imelda furiously said

"I only listen to Mr. Hansel, whatever you say don't really matter to me" Gretel told them

Imelda scoffed in disbelief.

"I think the foreigners are here" Imelda said when she had sighted some strange men looking around.

"I will be here watching" Gretel said to Imelda

"Whatever freak" she responded.

4pm

"Hola" Imelda greeted

"Buenas noches" one of them responded

"habla usted inglés?" Imelda asked

"'sí" he responded with a smile

"Good, this is your package , remember; you can't share it to anyone. The ingredients are rare and expensive" Imelda told them

"Noted" The man who seems as their leader responded.

As soon as Imelda wants to hand over the medicine to him, a figure from nowhere grabbed the box in a flash cutting off Imelda's finger with it.

Imelda screamed in agony drawing the attention of everyone at the airport as blood gushes out from her three half fingers. The foreigners open fire at the airport out of fear of the unknown, they had secretly smuggled the gun with them for protection.

Imelda looked up to see who it was that had cut off her fingers, behold; Erica was standing in a corner holding the box with her blood splashed over the box

"You fucking monster!" she shouted in agony. Before she could make a move, Gretel ran pass her to pursue Erica who had flee from sight.

The police were alerted by the gunshots as the foreigners had taken down a lot of people with their guns in fear.

Erica ran up the moving elevator with the box as Gretel followed behind in great speed, everyone at the Airport ran helter-skelter looking for where to hide themself. Erica jumped from the side of the elevator she was to the other side and then to another side making her way to the empty spaces around the airport.

As she was about to go through another road, Gretel blocked her from the front causing them to bump into each other and the box falling off from her hand

"You think you can run?" Gretel asked breathing heavily

"I recognize you; you are the guy that bumped into me weeks ago" Erica said on seeing his face, he was the same guy that had bumped into her on the road during the live broadcast

"Happy to see me?" Gretel asked

"So, you knew who i was?" she asked him

"You are quite popular you know" he answered

"Who are you? you look human but you are not" Erica said

"That's not a story for today" Gretel responded as he tries to pickup the box but Erica was fast enough to move her claws to his face slashing it. The artificial skin on his face tore off leaving that of a familiar face.

"Kelvin" Erica said looking surprised.
