Abyss City

Zeus and Bonney were lying down their bodies pressed against each other, covered in a cloud blanket, when Dragon appeared in front of them. Bonney was startled and hid in Zeus' arms, the tips of her ears completely red, Zeus looked up and said "Seriously old man..."

Dragon chuckled and said "There's just over a year left. I'm going to train you myself from now on.." he paused and said "You hit a wall right?" Zeus nodded and said "Internal destruction Haki.. I just can't get it." Dragon smirked and said "Because you haven't pushed yourself to near death kiddo. We'll be sparring every day from now on. After your spars I'll train my little daughter-in-law for the rest of the day."

Dragon grinned and said "If you're not careful you might really die. Don't worry, your mother's grave is not too far away I'll bury you there." Zeus was startled before grinning "Sounds like your taking out your anger old man." Dragon chuckled and said "Maybe. See you tomorrow, enjoy your last day of peace. Shishishishishi" before disappearing.

Zeus sighed and turned his head to Bonney saying "Your husband is going to have some hard days ahead of him now.." Bonney snuggled into him and said "I hope you won't make me a widow." Zeus blinked before bursting out laughing and saying "Hmph! Not until I put a baby in you!"

Bonney blushed and slapped his chest saying "What baby!?" Zeus laughed and flipped her on her back and looked at her with a hungry expression, Bonney yelped and said "Someone help! My brother-in-law is going to eat me up!"

Zeus chuckled and said evilly "No one will save you sister-in-law!"

Moans echoed in the jungle once more.

The next morning

Zeus was standing across from Dragon in only shorts. The hat Bonney gave him was off to the side, in Bonney's hands. Bonney was squeezing the hat nervously, she didn't know if Dragon was telling the truth and she didn't really want to find out either.

Zeus clenched his fists and charged at Dragon, throwing a punch with all his power. Dragon caught his fist and pulled back, dragging Zeus forward. Zeus pushed his foot off the ground and spun his leg towards Dragon's head was he passed him, the back of his knee was about to catch Dragon's neck, when Dragon leaned forward and dodged it.

Dragon kicked the oncoming Zeus right in the stomach and sent him flying into a tree before chasing after him and throwing a punch, Zeus rolled on the ground and pushed his hands behind him, shooting his legs up towards Dragon's ribs, Dragon turned his body and elbowed Zeus in the side, sending him rolling on the ground again.

Their fight continued like this and Zeus didn't even hit Dragon once before he collapsed on the ground, face first. Dragon sneered and said "You can't even hit me once, how can you avenge Ace? You're weak!" as he kicked Zeus, sending him flying into a rock.

He flashed in front of Zeus and picked him up by the hair saying "Pathetic. I lost my wife for this trash?" he kneed Zeus in the face and threw him into a cliff face, creating a giant hole and shaking the entire mountain. Dragon flashed over and grabbed Bonney's collar, she glared at him and said "How could you do that to your own son!?"

Dragon sneered and said "Angry? Beat me yourself." Bonney touched his arm and Dragon sneered again "You want to change my age with your abysmal strength? Maybe in 100 years." before dragging Bonney off to train.

Zeus plopped onto the ground and gasped for breath as he clenched his fists.

3 months passed

Zeus had managed to hit Dragon once this time, but didn't do any serious damage. Dragon knocked him to the ground, Zeus gritted his teeth and felt like he couldn't move his body at all. Bonney ran over but dragon dragged her away once again, for the whole three months he hadn't seen Bonney once.

Zeus slammed his fist into the ground in frustration. Determined to do something about it, but as hard as he tried he could never hit Dragon. Only once and it was mostly luck, Zeus didn't realized that the barriers on him were slowly loosening themselves after every beating. 10 months to go.

5 months passed

Zeus managed to hit Dragon 3 times this time, until Dragon beat him into the ground extremely hard, Zeus was breathing weakly and Dragon raised his fist again seemingly intent on ending his life this time. Today was his birthday, it seemed that Dragon was exceptionally mad today, every hit was 10 times harder than before.

Zeus closed his eyes on the ground and Dragon sneered as he brought down his fist.

Bonney flew in and said "Stop! You're going to kill him!" Dragon stopped and slapped the incoming Bonney away 'Pah!'

Zeus eyes shot open and he saw Bonney rolling on the ground. He growled and lightning exploded from his body, the ground changed into a red wasteland with lightning arcs crackling off it, the clouds turned deep red and thunder was rumbling everywhere. The entire thunder side of the island transformed into a red wasteland with thick red lightning bolts smashing down erratically almost as if the lightning itself was angry.

Zeus stood up and threw a heavy punch, hitting Dragon in the gut and sending him flying into a cliff face. Zeus growled and threw his hand into the air, a giant red thunder dragon poked down from the clouds and circled around Zeus before charging at Dragon with its jaws wide open. The thunder dragon smashed into the cliff face and blew up a good chunk of it.

Zeus was done yet and he hovered in the air, dragon horns grew off his head, his arms and legs turned to dragon arms and legs but they had 9 claws each. On his neck a reverse scale appeared and it was glowing red, the thunder changed to a storm with heavy rain and red lightning arcs crackling sporadically everywhere.

Behind him a tail appeared with a spiking end on it made of red lightning, his dragon appendages were pure white with red rings on his wrists and ankles and 3 red rings on his tail.

Zeus growled and grabbed to the side of him. A thunder spear appeared but it was different, the shaft of the spear had a dragon coiling around it and the blade was coming out of the dragon's open mouth. The shaft was white and the blade was blood red, the whole spear crackled with red lightning arcs.

A huge red ring appeared behind him and split into two, one inner ring and one outer ring. The outer ring was red and spun clockwise, while the inner ring was black and spun counter-clockwise. The thunder in the air churned and formed a whirlpool, connecting to the ring on Zeus' back.

Zeus grabbed the spear tightly before throwing it at the rest of the cliff, the dragon eyes on the spear glowed with red light and the spear itself traveled a supersonic speeds, almost invisible to the naked eye before hitting the remains of the cliff.

An earth shattering boom echoed to the islands closest to Thunder Fire island and the cliff was completely gone, only leaving a smooth surface of charred rock. Other than that, there was nothing.

Bonney was stunned silly and turned to see Zeus' red, glowing, eyes return to normal and he reverted back to normal before falling face first onto the ground, completely unconscious.

Bonney ran over and flipped Zeus on his back, anxious. Dragon appeared next to Zeus, he looked completely fine. Bonney was startled and Dragon touched Zeus' neck before saying "He's fine. If I knew this was going to happen I would've slapped you a long time ago."

Bonney's face scrunched up, somehow that didn't make her feel better. Dragon chuckled and looked around at the red lightning wasteland before saying "Seems like Red Hell would be a better name for this island now." Bonney rolled her eyes and said "We're you really going to kill him?"

Dragon was silent for a moment before saying "If nothing happened, probably." Bonney glared at him and said angrily "It's your son!" Dragon said seriously "It's better to die in my hands than in someone else's." Bonney was startled and went silent, thinking about what Dragon said before looking at Dragon and saying "I want to be strong like Zeus."

Dragon looked at her and said "Are you sure?" Bonney nodded heavily and Dragon was silent for saying "Good. Let's go." Bonney kissed Zeus' forehead with eyes full of care before getting up and leaving with Dragon.

A while later

Zeus sat up and looked on his lap, it was his hat. He picked it up and put it on his head, when a piece of paper fell out. He lifted his eyebrows and opened the paper before sighing. "Dear Hubby. I left with father-in-law to train. I know you can find me but I don't want you to. After watching you train so hard I felt like I would just be a burden for you, if I were to continue this way. I still have your vivre card so wait for me to find you. Next time you see me I promise I won't drag you down! -Bonney <3 P.S: If you find another woman, I'll peel your flesh off!"

Zeus tucked the note in his hat and saw another paper next to him, it said "Zeus, I've taught you everything I could. The only thing left is for you to improve by yourself. I took Daughter-in-law, don't worry, she'll be safe. Don't come find her." he vaporized the note and saw a little vivre card with a 'D' on it. He put the vivre card in his cloud and took a deep breath.

He was all alone again, he looked around at the red wasteland and his gaze hardened. He flashed into the forest and disappeared.

1 Month later

Zeus cracked his neck and walked towards the coast, he got used to all of his powers and now he had 4 months left to refine himself before the reunion and 9 months before the next shipment of devil fruits.

Zeus pulled out a snail and Crocodile's voice came over "Yo." Zeus said "I'm coming back. Get ready for a meeting, I'll be there in 3 days max. I want a full report of activities during the last 9 months." Crocodile confirmed and Zeus hung up before jumping on a cloud and shooting off into the air 20x faster than before.

During the trip Zeus called the Drug Synthesizers to see what was going on with his new drug and was pleasantly surprised when he heard that the first shipment was sent 2 days ago. After 9 months of experimenting it had better be good. He also found out that during the 9 months his sales of Fallen Angel powder skyrocketed, almost to the point where the lab it was made in couldn't support it anymore.

Zeus thought for a moment and said "How about we make a deal?" the scientist on the other end said "What kind?" Zeus said "I like you specifically. I heard that some of the others also use the drugs they create, I don't want them. I want you, I'll fund you and a team you create to specifically produce drugs for me in the future. You'll get a yearly salary as well as protection from myself and however much money you need for a lab, equipment, materials, etc. What do you think?"

The voice was silent before saying "Where?" Zeus rubbed his chin and said "For now, on my ship. But soon we'll establish a base. I predict within 4 months, I'll have a base of operations. With tight security, if you have any family they can come with you as well of course."

The voice said "What if I refuse?" Zeus sighed and said "If you refuse, then you refuse. I'm not going to force you to work for me if you don't want to. I hope you understand that this is only a one-time deal, we can still work together regularly but If you want to come back to my deal at a later date, it will simply be impossible."

The voice was silent before saying "I want freedom, I'm not a caged animal. Naturally I won't leak any secrets. Also I want the creative freedom to also work on other projects." Zeus lit a cigarette and exhaled as he said "I have no problem with you being able to come and go but I would like you to realize that I will not allow my business to be put on hold because he were working on something else. If you finish the work to can use your time to do what you want. I'll even give you your OWN lab if you give me the best results."

The voice said "You don't have to worry about that. When I get a job I finish it. If what you said is true then we have a deal. Let me arrange a team and meet me on Rotary valley Island in 7 days." Zeus grinned and said "No problem. Keep in mind, I don't want junkies who get high on their own supply. I find one I kill one, so choose your teammates wisely."

The voice said "Agreed, the name's Ratchet." Zeus smiled and said "Zeus." before hanging up.

A while later

Zeus landed on the destroyer and got salutes from the older staff and curious as well as hostile looks from the newer recruits. Zeus waved and said "9 months left you all. I have some good rewards if you exceed my expectations." the older staff started working faster in excitement and the newer staff was confused. Zeus passed them and walked into Crocodile's room before disappearing into the secret hallway.

A newer recruit said to the older one next to him "Hey bro, who was that?" The older recruit whispered "That's the big boss! The 4 other bosses listen to him! I heard that the big boss created Tartarus from the ground up himself!" the newer recruit sucked in a cold breath of air.

The older recruit looked around before whispering again "You know those scary guys with big brother Trent?" the newer recruit nodded and the older recruit whispered with a fanatical expression "I heard that the big boss broke into Impel Down and recruited them all from the 6th level!"

The newer recruit was stunned and said "WHAT?!" the older recruit shushed him and said "Quiet down!" a voice sounded from behind them "You two must be out of work to be whispering over here." the older and newer recruit turned around and said "Big brother Trent we were just leaving! Hahah" before running away, using Soru no less.

Trent watched them go before reminiscing and saying "It has been a while.." just 17 month ago he was a prisoner and now he was an executive for a rapidly growing Underworld organization. He wouldn't have believed it if you told him 18 months ago, but time changed and Zeus changed his life. It might not be honest work but it's work nonetheless.

Zeus was sitting down, smoking a cigarette as he listened to the reports from the 4 of them. Zeus suddenly said "Did you find any Islands that are good locations?" Crocodile nodded and said "There were 3 that we found, 2 were inhabited and the last one in a mountainous abandoned Island."

Zeus perked up and said "Show me the last one." Crocodile handed him a folder and Zeus looked through the information before closing it and saying "Set sail for this island, right now. Tesoro get me in contact with architects and deploy the assassins to clear out the mountains of every beast." the four nodded and left.

Zeus walked out of the conference room and to the steering wheel. He touched the metal orb and channeled lightning into it, the ship started sailing rapidly through the waters towards the mountainous island.

A while later

Zeus landed on the island and picked up a snail before leaving the island on his cloud to get the architects.

3 months later

Zeus was sitting in a wooden conference room on the island, aptly renamed Abyss Island. He had helped the architects build straight into the mountains, the whole island was done over, hundreds of Architects were commissioned. There were hundreds of buildings; houses, labs, storage, training, shops, even an entertainment district. Tesoro insisted on being a part of the island, and so a casino with an entire entertainment district was made. Tesoro implemented the same strategy as the Gran Tesoro, sprinkling Gold dust on the guests so that he could turn them into statues when ever he wanted.

Zeus made sure that the Underworld buildings were hidden within the mountains, each mountain was dug into and there were thousands of tests done to make 100% sure that the mountain wouldn't collapse on itself even if there was a minor fight. There were secret doors, secret paths, secret trade locations, and secret lifts scattered around the island. Zeus made sure that the same mechanisms that were on the destroyer were implemented in the making of the buildings on Abyss Island.

Other than the fact that there was an underworld organization running in the shadows of the island. The rest of the island looked like a thriving city, in the three months that it was built Zeus had silently spread out the word of Abyss City and Abyss Island, he even had Eternal poses made and sent out to several Eternal pose shops all over the entire grand line.

There were several peaks and so far on the highest one was a huge building, the strange part was that the mountain peak was completely flat. Zeus did this before the architects started building, the highest peak was for conferences and other important things, in the future the other mountain peaks will have buildings on them as well. Zeus had already flattened them out in advance.

The city was extremely beautiful and people, pirates, etc. were already roaming around. Zeus had gone to great lengths to create this Island and everything on it, there were clothing shops, restaurants, hotels, candy shops, street vendors, everything an island needed it had.

Zeus rubbed his chin as he thought about it, if it was in the anime, he would be a big bad villain that the crew took down after finding out about the truth of the island. He chuckled to himself, that would be a fun arc, he fantasized in his mind, they meet the big boss in the final showdown after taking down the rest.

He walked out with his mask and cloak before ripping them off revealing himself to be his brother, the crew was stunned but heart broken and the final battle between brothers was earth shattering until his eventual defeat and arrest.

He was startled, even in his own mind he sided with the heroes against himself! He was brought out of his reverie with a neat smack to the back of his head.

He looked up and saw the 4 of them looking at him strangely. Persephone sat back down and said "Honestly, can you space out on your own time?" Zeus chuckled and said "Hit me with the news."

Tesoro cleared his throat and said "The entertainment district is doing really good!" Zeus nodded and said "What do you think about adding a red light district?" Tesoro was startled before his eyes startled glowing as he nodded excitedly and ran out of the room.

Zeus chuckled and Lucci said "Anyway, the assassin lounge is nice. The training are is big the only problem is the material isn't hard enough on the training dummies." Zeus was startled and said "How can that be! They were seastone interior with adam's wood exterior!"

Lucci was stunned and said "What? Where are these?!" Zeus said "Wearhouse 5. I thought I told Olive to go get them." Lucci coughed embarrassingly and said "She's been a little preoccupied recently.." Zeus was taken aback and said "You?" Lucci said immediately "Kaku."

Zeus was stunned before laughing and said "Their in warehouse 5.. Those 'training dummies' were actually just stand ins for where the actual ones were supposed to go..." Lucci nodded and left immediately as well, the actual training dummies made him excited.

Crocodile shook his head and said "Anyway, back on track. We have almost 20% of the market at the moment, with Joker taking up another 40% and the rest being split between various small and large forces. 2 Yonko at 10% each but they both dip their hands in Joker's supplies. I got a call from the revolutionaries saying that they want to speak with you."

Zeus waved and said "Let them call me. What else?" Crocodile's face turned ugly and he said "I heard reports from our spies that Government agents are sneaking around Abyss city." Zeus frowned and said "They didn't find anything did they?"

Crocodile shook his head and Zeus nodded "I set up lightning marks on the surrounding areas where all the secret entrances are. There are lightning rings around the buildings and small sensors on every corner. They won't get far if they do find something."

Crocodile nodded and said "I think the city was a risky call. It could attract some bad attention."

Zeus rubbed his chin and said "We get all the profits from it. It's a risky worth taking, once the agents find nothing is wrong they'll leave. Unless we have a rat, they won't find anything. I'll get an information person for you, I have just the fruit to do it with and I have a person in mind. If I can find them... Within 3 days find me a woman named Shiruton Doruyanaika, look in the South Blue."

Crocodile nodded and left to go carry out the task, if he gets a good information person, then it's all worth it.
