Prologue

Looking out the window of the police car, Beaufort Swan pondered about his new life, new life, because before he was not in this world, one morning he was walking calmly towards his home when he suddenly appeared in this world.

He was reincarnated in this world in the body of the protagonist, but unlike most protagonists he did not gain any new powers or systems, his species was that he knew the world in which he had been sent very well.

It was the alternative world of twilight, Life and Death, it told the story of the human Beaufort Swan and the vampire Edythe Cullen, now there was no longer that protagonist but him.

Taking his eyes away from the window for a few seconds he focused his gaze on his father, Charle Swan, chief of police.

On the Olympic Peninsula, in northwestern Washington state, in the United States, there is a small town called Forks that is almost constantly covered in clouds

It was in this city that he would find himself now, after getting off the plane from Phoenix, now he would find himself by car on the way to Forks.

In this city I was forced to spend vacations with my father until I was 14, until I started to become interested in certain businesses and could no longer leave California, so Charlie spent two weeks on vacation in California with me.

Knowing what to expect in this small town I was excited, not with the fear I should have been knowing that I was heading towards a town full of vampires, but rather excited to get out of my boring routine, plus I was finally going to meet the infamous Edythe Cullen.

A vampire over a century old, unlike the rest of the Cullens she was the only loner among them, and having already seen the book he missed that she could survive much better than the old Beaufort Swan.

"How are your studies going in Phenix?" Charlie's voice brought me out of my thoughts

I looked at Charlie while I thought about how to answer that question, studies were the easiest thing in this world, after all, I had already done all this in the other world and I had even graduated in Pedagogy, in other words, I should know even more than these Forks teachers.

"Very good, actually I had taken courses that month" I replied without giving many details about how my studies were going, as long as the answer was satisfactory

"I wish I had bought you a car but since you already have one, I decided to leave the money saved in case you needed anything" Charlie replied, looking somewhat embarrassed at the road

Yes, I had even managed to buy a very expensive car, when I arrived in this world I started drawing mangas that didn't exist here under the false name of Julian Rivesin, famous mangas like Jujutsu Kaisen, Bleach, Fate, and several others.

With these works I managed to improve my financial capital a lot, to the point that I started buying shares with the same false name and some blackmail so that no one would care because of my age.

The moment I turned 16, I completed my driving career and bought my first car, and as I never had much money available in my previous life I decided to buy the best one I had at that time, a Veneno Roadster.

The Veneno Roadster is a convertible car that can reach a maximum speed of 355 km/h, with its 6.5 liter engine and 750 hp. Instead of increasing the engine's power, Lamborghini chose to improve the car's aerodynamics. The use of carbon fiber is the most innovative aspect of this car and reduces its weight.

This expensive one had been launched in 2014 to buy Lamborghini's 50th anniversary, but in this world it had already been launched, and seeing this he bought it without regrets, even though it cost almost all of his savings. 

Neither Renee nor Charlie liked it when he spent so much money on a car, more for his money from his effort and because he promised not to do it anymore they decided to ignore it this time

Of course, because he was moving to Forks, he had already announced that his car could be delivered there, so after some bureaucratic issues he signed some documents and could finally get the keys to the car of his dreams and just wait for the chance to drive it.

"Don't worry dad, I'm fine financially, but I appreciate you worrying" seeing his son thanking him for something he didn't even do left him a little embarrassed, making him lower his head while he just nodded in silence

Thinking about how he would have to be careful with certain things around Edythe Cullen, Beau began to make a plan for tomorrow, which would be his first day of school.

We finally arrived at Charlie's house. He still lived in the small, two-bedroom house he and my mother had bought as soon as they got married. This was the only period of their marriage. There, parked on the street in front of the house that had never changed, was my new car, its red color and its shape stood out enormously, the car made for speed, that is, adrenaline

Getting out of the car I quickly made my way to my new car, quickly opened the door, finally inside it I allowed myself to smile, what I always wanted I was finally able to achieve, although with effort, it was still mine.

After a few more test drives, I left there a little regretful about that, although I knew I had a lot more time ahead, now it was time to pack things up and wait for tomorrow.

Charlie helped me with some suitcases, leaving it in the small room, which I would definitely put more furniture in as soon as I could, it was small and cosier, something I really liked.

"I freed up some space in the bathroom drawer" Charlie said as he placed the suitcase next to the bed

"Thank you" I replied while thinking about what I could change there

"If you need anything let me know" Soon Charlie left and let me fall on the bed, tired from today

"Forks here I come" I smiled at this phrase that if anyone heard they would call me crazy...
