Chapter 1 - Called home

Leah POV

She was in her class teaching at Mystic Falls High School when the bell rings.

It's been six years since everything calmed down in Mystic Falls, Damon moved to start his bar, Caroline, Alaric, and Jo starting the Salvatore School for the young and gifted which I will teaching there later, Bonnie is with Enzo traveling, Stefan is with Caroline still as he will be a teacher for vampires at the school.

I was picking up my bag to get ready to leave as I see my wife walking in.

Elena: Ready to go?

Leah: Yeah just gotta grab one more thing.

I grabbed some papers to grade as I see my wife in her off clothes.

Leah: Nice look babe.

Elena: What? I'm off for work so don't judge.

Leah: I'm not judging I'm just saying.

?: Leah!

I turn to see someone I haven't seen in years as I was shocked.

Elena: You know him?

Leah: He's my brother.

I walked up to him to hug him tight as I had tears in my eyes to let go as I smiled to slap him across the head, hard.

?: Ow! What was that?

Leah: Where have you been Derek! You couldn't call me to tell me your alright!

Derek: I'm sorry but Laura thought we should stay hidden from the hunters.

Leah: Where's she at so I thump her too!

Derek was quiet and looked down.

Leah: Derek, where is our sister?

Derek: Laura is dead Leah.

My eyes widen as I had tears coming out to which I had to steady myself.

Elena: Babe it's okay, just breath.

Leah: How did she die?

Derek: Someone cut her in half, my money is on the Argents.

Leah: Did you give burial rights?

Derek: Yes but now I need your help back in Beacon Hills, the Argents are back, the Alpha created a new Beta who is difficult and naive, plus Kate's there as well.

Leah: Um, I guess I can come, I think I saw that Beacon Hills has a opening for a history teacher but.

I turned to Elena who looked at me with determination.

Elena: I can transfer to the hospital in Beacon Hills so I'm going.

Derek: Uh who is this?

Leah: Oh Um this is Elena Gilbert but she is now Elena Gilbert Hale, my wife.

Derek: You got married?

Leah: Yes but she's also my Beta so yeah but yeah meet your sister in law.

Elena: Nice to meet you Derek but babe what about our sons and daughter.

Derek's eyes widen I think.

Derek: You have kids?

Leah: Yeah two sons and one daughter, oldest is six, one's four, and the youngest is two, you can meet them later but it looks like we're going to Beacon Hills.

Derek: I can't wait to meet them but I'm gonna go on ahead to Beacon Hills.

Leah: Will see you there.

Derek nodded and hugged me as he walked off.

Leah: I'm sorry baby, I promised you when we had kids that being supernatural was done.

Elena: It's okay, we better go home to get packing plus get the kids so they can pack.

I nodded.

Leah: But I make this promise to you that whatever happens, if anything puts our kids in danger I'm going to kill whoever tries.

Elena smiled to peck my lips as we held hands heading to our children's school.

I knew this would happen but Peter better get ready cause in my hybrid Lycan form I'm bigger, stronger, and faster that I can rip him apart easy.
