Ch 4: First Young master

Cold night breeze blew into a room, pushing the curtains on the window and giving chance for the moon light to sleep into the large room.

The Gentle rays of the full moon clearly illuminated the King sized room, exquisite furniture neatly arranged at their specific corners. This room was fit for kings.

In the middle of the room, just adjacent to the double sized windows, a king sized bed was positioned against the wall. On the bed, the rays of the moon highlighted a sleeping figure. The face of the person could not be seen but the features accurately depicted that of a lady.

Ding!

Following the sound of the alarm clock. Gisele opened her eyes. She took a quick glance across her surrounding but everywhere was unfamiliar to her. At the same time memories of herself being drawn into a dark alley came rushing back. Fear and alarm found their way to her face immediately.

She had been abducted!

To where? That she had no idea but by whom?

The Andres family!

Before she passed out, she had heard the voices of her abductors. Not only did it sound familiar but even through their conversation she could point out who they were.

"What an ungrateful child! She thought she could run away, hmph! we're also doing this for her own good too. If she ends up getting married into that family, she would be respected. Even if her husband is an old man or might be crippled she would still be living as a madam." A scratchy old feminine said. The Contempt in this person's tone was undiluted.

"She should be thanking us and not trying to run away, hmph such an ungrateful wench!" Another lady's voice rang out, this time it sound much younger than the previous one. These two was no doubt, Grandmother Andres and Roxanne. This didn't surprise her at all. But she was shocked when she heard the voice of the next person.

"Mother do you think they would accept her if we send her there unconscious?"

How heartbreaking it was that her mother was part of those who had come to abduct her. The unconscious Gisele had wanted to stand up and lash out at the three women but she lost her consciousness the next minute.

Now that she was awake, she was highly disappointed. She had thought that after leaving the house her mother might come to the sense but she didn't expect her to not see her fault. There was really no Saving grace for Suzy again.

Looking round, Gisele tried to identify where she was. There was no picture on the wall to tell who the house belonged but from their statemwnt this was clearly the place of the supposed husband the Andres family were forcing her marry.

She rushed to the door but it was locked from the outside. Jumping through the window came to her mind too but looking down the mansion, she tossed that idea away. Now there was no way out of the room.

Fear began to settle in her mind. What would happen if that person met her here? Was she really going to get married to a stranger she didn't know?

Tears rolled down her eyes. Gisele curled herself up at one corner of the bed, her hands round her knees and her head buried in her hand. The young lady's should shivered as she cried her eyes out.

At the same time, in the Hugo residence...

The Old man from before sat at the dinning table, happily munching on his dinner. The other people a the dinner table could see his state of delight but none of them could bring themselves to ask.

After watching him for long with that smile on his face. Eugene couldn't bare the curiosity anymore, so he decided to ask the old man.

"Father, you are awfully happy this evening, what's the occasion?"

"I met someone special today" The Old man replied gleefully.

It was nothing serious, Old man Hugo had a thing for adventures and he would always have tales to speak of at the end. Even before listening, everyone had assumed he was going to speak of such tales again.

"Who could it be father?" Brenda couldn't help but join in the curiosity her father-in-law had set at the dining table.

"A precious jewel. That Scandalous friend of mine thought he could hide her from me. Shame on him I get to see her and he doesn't. Haa!" His words made no sense to the people listening, they could only shake their heads and watch the old man laugh till his hearts Content. Then...

Bam!

The dining door burst open loudly. They were all startled but the man at the door looked even more startled. With rampant steps he marched to the dining, made a quick bow to the other people at the table and bent to whisper to the Old man.

Something had happened.

They could tell, the urgency in the man's brows told them it was something of great importance.

Bang!

"What?!" Old man Hugo banged the table and leapt to his feet, his brows furrowed deeply.

"Father what is it? Is something the matter?" Eugene asked his father and when he didn't get a reply, he turned to the young man that had brought long a news.

"Secretary Jim what happened?"

Secretary Jim hesitated for a second then decided to spill the beans. "The Chairman and I ran into a young lady today, she's the granddaughter of his friend and so he asked me to tail her but as I was tailing after her she suddenly was abducted"

"Abducted?!" Surprise and worry filled the room.

Just how unlucky was this girl?

Secretary Jim nodded "yes and I trailed behind them when she was taken away. It so happens that..." He paused, bit his lips and contemplated his next words. "It so happens that she was taken into... Into First master's mansion.

First Master's mansion?

It was like a thunderclap had resounded in all their ears. Sounds of spoon falling to the ground and the sounds of someone choking filled the room. Eugene and his wife looked at each other, so did their children and family members at the table.

Brenda queried "how did she end up there? Did Devis get her there himself?" Though she asked this question, she highly doubted it. Brenda knows her son, there was no way he would ever have abduct a girl to his place. He just didn't have the personality to do so.

Like they expected Secretary Jim shook his head "Today is the deadline for the loan given to the Andres Family. Apparently they had opted to give their daughter as a collateral instead of given their company. It appears the girl is the daughter of the Andres family and she had refused to honour the contract, so they chose to abduct her to First Master's place"
