Chapter 7 - The Lady In Black Part 1

The calmness of the blackness I was in was serene and I could not hear any noise nor a gust of wind.

I held unto my chest realising that I was dreaming. I was alone but my heart alone was incandescent somewhat heated by an unknown source. I feel the euphoria that enveloped my whole body and I still held my hands to my chest it was an ineffable experience until I suddenly open my eyes. The mellifluous chirping of the birds were heard the dawn of the morning sun was beginning and I tried to recollect what happened last night. It was his gentle voice and his smile not hinting a speck of a nefarious heart behind his words.

I can only be stuck at my own daydream.

"Rius" Mom calls stopping me from my own reverie.

"Yes?" I answered.

"Come and get ready for school"

"Alright!"

After munching on the delicious breakfast she made I aas cleaning myself for a fast shower. I used the blower drying up my hair quickly after shower. After some preparations I had gone to my school then a thought came to my mind How is Vinanciel? is he doing fine? Did he easily passed gone through the sudden situation yesterday? also it all happened yesterday and many things have already been told. I was about to go through the gate yet a tap on my shoulder was something that I felt. I turned around seeing Vinanciel with an expression of felicity on his face.

"Hey! it's been a while"

I nodded" But wasn't it yesterday?the day we met?"

"Bah!I want to be friends with you and be my comrade in arms!"

"We're not in the military"

"But yeah" his expression turned into a sadness looking down " I couldn't really grasped the situation yesterday before creating an appearance yet instead it troubled not only me but you as well so at least let me say thank you for saving me" he smiled broadly.

"Well then you're welcome"I said with a smile.

We entered the school and the wind was gentle like a whisper to my hair, caressing my skin gently as we have walked through the halls and with the class I listened well with these lessons during our learning hour. it was a lesson of the omega body.

"Listen here young omegas" The teacher sternly looked at us "Do you know what is a heat cycle?"

The omegas wandered their sight to each other. Vinanciel was beside me watching the teacher while his jaw was resting on his left palm. No one raised their hand what we only knew was the force of pheromones but we clearly not understanding what a heat cycle is this meant that none of us has experienced a heat yet in the age of eighteen or rather to be specific not much exposed to the scent of alphas. To be precise schools for alphas and omegas are different and in the case for alphas they are transported by a car to an all alpha school of course this includes female alphas.

"All right since no one knows the heat cycle is a cycle that only occurs when a fated alpha is nearby or a forced trigger known as Forced Cycle. The heat cycle which is the normal way of cycle needs an Alpha or mate to be precise as i said before...A Forced Cycle is when a dominant alpha plunders the force of an Omegas pheromone, the force of pheromones of the omega vanishes since that force is used to subdue ill alphas that has malicious intent as it is a means of survival but when it's crushed you will undergo a Forced Cycle. The pheromones of the dominant Alpha will force the awakening almost an instant or it'll take minutes if you are more endurable of the alpha pheromones if this cycle happens your body will be weakened in the process which is the heat itself"

"Is there any questions?"

None of us answered our lips were tied up as if one thought came into mind. Yesterday was the happening of this occurrence in front of our eyes although my memories were hazed by the fog of emptiness and the more I try to remember the more my head hurts. The bell rang then we walked our way to the cafeteria. Vinanciel sat beside me quietly as his lips began to move.

"Rius"

"Y-yes?"

Vinanciel sighed. His blonde hair slid sideways but his eyelashes were beautiful as his eyes were the tranquil forest of the deepest forest.

"I don't need to keep secrets since I've not talked to someone else in a long time but might I ask something from you? I am somewhat curious"

I look directly at his eyes curious at his upcoming question.

"Are you engaged?"

"Eh? what kind of question is that?"

His eyes seems to sparkle and then next was his suspicion.

"Nothing really I was curious if you are engaged" he nonchalantly says as he eats his food.

Chomp chomp

"I don't really have a fiancée to show you nor I am engaged in one"

I glanced down seemingly lying to his question.

"Hmmm I see but a private matter is a private matter"

An omega was walking towards our way he had a brown hair, his eyes were black as obsidian and like an omega he also has a slender body but is more smaller in height compared to us. His skin was as white as milk with his lips as red as cherry in a short summarize he seems like a person who was almost forced to something evil since his face was saddened yet as he looked at me as his face was now painted in relief. He came closer and bowed down to me. I was taken aback by his own action it was the dignity of a person who's trying to say gratitude.

"Uhm Thank you for saving me yesterday...I would'nt be here if it weren't for you...You were very brave even though your actions were limited...it was commendable and encouraging"

He was bowing with tears had flown out of his eyes as he composed himself. He wiped those tears and wore a smile of relief and gratitude towards me.

I sighed in relief and for that I was glad to see that he was doing well "I am grateful to see that you're doing well although it may leave you a shocking event mostly... Although this is rather abrupt but i wish to see you recover from a traumatic event"

"Yes and thank you again"

"You're welcome"

He bowed after I said those words before leaving.

"Wow you're a hero now"

I got flustered to his words "I am not!"

Vinanciel has a smirk on his face "Surely even I couldn't do anything about that situation so it's very much commendable for an omega like you to be praised for it is rightfully so! isn't it?"

There was a hint of the summer breeze smelled by my nose, my gaze have turned to every corner of the cafeteria and Vinanciel frowned at me wondering what was eyes were looking around in wander.

"Is there something you want to see?"

As I realized it, maybe I was just overthinking things at this point.

"Yeah"

"Oh? maybe you should see an Anticleseus"

I coughed to his sudden words of an Anticleseus.

"Maybe you should be eaten by one young madam" I retorted.

"At least I saw one"

"You do know it's not right to joke about an Anticleseus right"

Yes it may seem strange but there is a story. A myth bestowed upon the almega race that the creator of our unique species was a goddess that have been forgotten through time yet there was a mortal enemy of the almega kind it was the Anticleseus the killer of our kind. Sure this was not said before but the almega race have created a force which alphas were in for combat the more dominant you are the more you are forcedly to participate in the fight to these monsters. Well I was denying that this story wasn't a fantasy but I guess it is turning into one?maybe the correct word for it is action.

"I guess you are correct"

The phone rang inside Vinanciel's pocket on his uniform he then picked it and looked closely perhaps it was a caller he knew.

"Can I talk privately? I'll be going somewhere"

I nodded as he walks away from this table, my eyes followed him as he had gone upstairs.

"Hmmm who is he talking to?"
