24_History class

After greeting everyone, he began checking to see that everyone was present. When confirming that everyone was present, he began talking about the things they should know. Like how they could join a club, how to make their own club, about the student council, about what they'll do at school and so much more.

He talked a lot and answered the questions from the students. Without realizing it the first period ended.

*RING* *RING*

"Your first lesson will begin in five minutes."

With that teacher Iyan let them do what they wanted in the five minutes they got. The students won't hesitate to talk when they got permission from their teacher.

"Which club should I join?"

This was the hottest topic they talked about. The teacher did say they aren't forced to join one, but they all wanted to join one. No one was not thinking about a club.

While a lot of people were talking about this the back of the class was silent.

One was asleep the whole time Iyan talked while one hesitated to talk to someone.

"Is there a club you want to join?", Erebus asked Lucius.

"I don't know…", he answered back.

He didn't have the time to think about it.

[I'm only here for a day how could I know which club to join!]

"Which club do you want to join?", he asked back.

"I don't know."

After this it became quiet and a bit awkward.

"Why are you guys so silent?", Ryuu asked.

He was talking to another classmate and didn't realize that it was so quiet. So, when he wanted to talk to Erebus, he notices to they were awfully quiet.

"Not your business."

Erebus knew that Ryuu was a bit slow sometimes, but he didn't care that he was like that right now. Because if not he would have suffered more in this silence.

"Humph! Your so mean!", he looked hurt at him, but he let it go and said the question that haunted him.

"Lucius, do you know why it was so silent back then?"

[Stupid!]

Erebus really wanted to kick his ass.

"Umm…That's…How do I say this."

"Just ignore him."

"Huh? Why?"

"Just shut up!"

Erebus looked coldly at the confused Ryuu. He didn't know why but he decided that it would be the best to just be quiet.

"Haha…It's okay.", Lucius gave a weak smile and answered the question of Ryuu.

"It's just…They are like a bit overprotective."

[A bit?]

That is what Erebus thought.

[It looked like they were ready to beat someone until they'll de.]

"What does your friends being overprotective have to do with it?"

"That- "

But before Lucius could explain the bell rang.

*RING* *RING*

"Go sit on your seat. The class is beginning."

Everyone began to walk back to their place and waited for the teacher to talk more.

"You already know, but I'm teacher Iyan. I'll be giving you the subject history. Take your book and papers for today's class."

Everybody listened to the teacher excluding Narcys who was still asleep.

"Wake up, Narcys!"

[I don't care that he didn't listen to the information, but he should at least try to listen to the lessons!]

Even when Iyan was screaming his name, he didn't wake up.

[I really want to beat him up!]

He thought like that but didn't to it. He began calming down, and just let it be.

[If he doesn't understand something, he'll ask.]

In the the end, they were all smart and hardworking students so, he should know what he is doing.

"Today I'll be talking about the first and last world war."

The great war, it's something everybody knows about because it helped the world in becoming what they are now.

"The war only lasted 4 years. It wasn't long, but it broke more hearts then all the longer wars."

Everyone listened attentive. It was a story they heard a lot, but somehow it sounded like they heard it for the first time. The way he talked drew them in. Even Narcys listened closely.

"Everybody has its own version. The people of Azan would know it different then the people of Eparo. It's normal, they all want to make it sound better than it actually was. Here in Jiyu we have a version of our own. We, the ones not involved saw it all without any lies between. This is our version."

The world exists of three continents: Azan in the east, Eparo in the west and Jiyu in the center. While Jiyu is now know as a continent back then they called it a city. Even when it was as big as a country, they didn't acknowledge it as one. Because they were no rulers. Some wanted to make it a part of their own kingdom, but they decided to make it a haven.

It was a place where the people of the two continents could come to for a talk. It was a place were everyone was free. There were no people with more people, everyone was equal.

But with no one protecting them there were a lot of bad people. People who steal, beat the weak. Nobody could do anything to them. They never learnt to fight or learn. It changed when two schools were opened. They helped to change the City Jiyu.

Everything was peaceful, the whole world was peaceful. The two-continent wanted to make an agreement with the other. An agreement about peace. They too hoped to have a good relationship with the other.

They couldn't reach each other easily. They were only the land ways to get to the one continent to the other. The first one was to climb the mountains. It wasn't impossible, but it took a lot of power to do so.

The second way was to go trough Jiyu. Of course, they could go with boat, but you'll never know what will happen on sea.

That is why they never have a lot of contact, but when they do, they are always fighting. With this peace agreement they hoped for a chance to trade with each other. That will benefit for both of them.

"Do you know who was send to negotiate from both continent?"

It was silent. They were all absorbed in the story that they couldn't progress the question.

"Yes, Arthur?"

"Isn't it Theodon Athavarus and Morpheus Xudiano?"

Even when he answered he wasn't sure. He heard this story a lot already, but somehow it sounded like he heard it for the first time.

"Bingo! That's correct.", Iyan gave a smile.

"Does someone know where they are from?"

This time it was Kia who answered.

"Theodon Athavarus comes from the Kraezenda Empire of the continent Eparo, and Morpheus Xudiano comes from the Yuimara Empire of the continent Azan."

"Once again correct."

After talking they send Duke Athavarus's heir as the represent of Eparo and Duke Xudiano's heir was sent as representative of Azan.

After two months they came back, and they officially wrote the agreement.

Everybody was happy about this. Both the duke's heir played a big role. They received their title not long after and married. They even had children.

But…

The peace didn't last long.
